Cities Skylines gameplay today and I'm inspired! There's a new futuristic city design that came out recently called 'The Line'. It has some interesting concepts but is overall one of the most insane and evil creations I've ever seen, so of course I'll be building a replica of it in Cities Skylines!

Warehouses can't store raw products, Kibz. You need industry-specific storage (which I believe can be placed outside the area) for that.

I was hoping that there would be some oil in the city. Imagine the level of suffering it would be to live next to an oil rig and distillation plant. And right next to that: An elementary school. May you could call it "Springfield Elementary" for the giggles and the people who know 😁

Just a tip, but build and use the industry DLC factories. They make so much money if you can keep them fed with the materials that they use, and they (conveniently for making 'the worst city ever') do output pollution. They can be quite large though.
Need more toll booths on the highways coming in/out of the Oil Island. Make more money!! Plus add in a transportation system to get more workers into the oil zone. More profits!!!
What a quaint little island you made! LOVE what you did with the beachfront property. Really made it a lovely place to live.

When he said "nothing ever goes wrong with them" regarding the oil rigs, for some reason I thought he was going to show a clip from iron man with the burning oil rig. I was like, ong he's gonna show it. And then he didn't. Either way, great video. I just tried playing city skylines and I got overwhelmed in the first 5 MINUTES!! It's so much harder than it looks but you're doing a fantastic job with it. Great job!
You need to setup cargo trains. What happned is all of oil trucks moved out to that nightmareabout, and they are limited per building/warehouse - they need to return before more oil might bee sold/stored, and if trucks despawn - you lose profit. If you setup cargo stations - they will use that, and trains can be spawned.

I think you should only place oil rigs on the oil area and then have a refining zone elsewhere. That mean that you can know what direction the traffic is coming from between those two places because they mostly will only communicate with each other(then the refining to the city but there I’m mostly talking about crude oil trucks coming back and forth) so you can easily have more oil and better traffic
If I resume, consommation trucks will never use up the road space for the oil rigs, and so everything will be smoother because only one type of truck goes to one place
Your giant tornado-about needs some lane-management and you-go-theres! It'll help keep it moving without clogging up so much 😄

Will that oil be refined? If not, why's there a giant warehouse on the oil island? Also, give the oil industry an express highway connection, so they can sell oil faster.

just to clarify, hehe there are usually more accidents onshore than offshore since they choose all the best people to work offshore for safety reasons 😉
To get the garbage truks back you could have paused the game after fixing the issue with not having the normal district set you could have then used the reset objects option of the Move It! mod
Hey you could put some toll booths at the end of the bridge to get money from all the trucks leaving if you want that

Uhm the trucks that are going out and sell the oil, where do they come from? Propably the storage is full so the pump stations send it out on their own?

today i was trying to get oil (no dlc) som i place down a bunch of factories and they dosent wanted to build about 30 mins later i see somthing doesent have water i came to check and there was like a city of oil extractors
