Every word he sang in this one had very deep feeling....pain, fear, anger, excitement, you name it!!!!! Basically he was letting them know EXACTLY how he felt and what he was going through.😤
The last part of the video when he is about to get into the car, you can see the “Diana” is in it and he stays staring at her. Amazing reaction! Love this song anf of course I love him deeply! ❤
The "wipe" was introduced more into Michael's performances during the "BAD" era starting in 1987 as a way to let you know he was done "spitting" lyrics. This according to producer Quincy Jones
I was in the audience for one of the fillings for the Moonwalker video. The filming of the video took about six hours for our audience. Micheal sang the song about 4 times to achieve protection with the audience's cheers. Michael left the stage each time he performed the song to refresh himself and do it all over again. The video gave the look of a live performance; however, it was not. The video was added to the Moonwalker video. I also had lunch with the female who rushed the stage (acting) during one of the performances for the video. The female had to rush to the stage at the same point of the song, for each performance. She was a professional dancer. Michael gave everyone in the audience the first released copy of Dirty Dianna on CD. I still have the CD. Believe it or not, Michael gave the same performance for the Moonwalker video with two other audiences. When it comes to Michael being a perfectionist, performing for three different audiences (4 times each audience) to make sure the crowd noise was to his liking, I will tell you Michael Jackson was a perfectionist.
Dirty Diana was what I named a car that I had back in the day, is was White so hard to keep clean, and when this song came on it was like the car came to life when the bass hit, seemed fitting to me. Plus i was in a bad relationship and trying to get out of it when I got the car. oh well I'm happy now but dang I miss that car.
I was there too. Got that the chance in 88 and 92 - life altering experiences. He’s literally in my thoughts all the time. A very very special man, unforgettable. 🙏❤️🙏
Yes! I love the way his breath catches when he’s talking to “Diana” but when he’s singing her response, he sings through, very strongly & firmly, without catching his breath or breaking up the words.
Dirty Diana were the groupies that stalked him. When he played Wembley Stadium on the Bad Tour, King (then Prince) Charles told him to remove it from the show because Charles and Princess Di were at that show. Diana whispered to him, "Play the song... I want you to play the song". He said no out of respect, but she insisted. Charles was PISSED.
Prince Charles didn’t tell him to remove it, Michael did it himself out of respect for Diana. You got the part right where she came up to him to ask if he’d perform dirty Diana and when he said no and that he took it out of the show because of her she told him to do it haha!
One of my favorite MJ songs, MJ has a special place in my heart because I’m named after him in tribute to my oldest sister who died 3 months before I was born so I only know her from pictures and stories
Just in case you did not know, this was Princess Diana`s favourite song of his, she told him this when they met at a concert backstage. He did not have it on that night but included it in the ones that followed, stay safe, P.J. from U.K.
Great reaction as always!!!! I love "goosepickles" now too!!!! The awesome electric guitarist in this video is well known for playing with Billy Idol since the 80s and too this day. Definitely a favorite of mine. This video is either a prequel or sequel of some sort, because the same girl in this was in the same outfit in "The Way You Make Me Feel." Peace and love to!!!!
one of my favorite songs! just amazing! and I never ever like or listen to Rock and Metal , but I freaking love Dirty Dina! I’ve listened to it so many times.only MJ can make me like this kind of music :)
I realize that all good songs can be identified by playing a few seconds of any part. For the lyrics and the instrumental are unique, inherent to the song. It's like this with Dirty Diana, Billie Jean, Black or White, and I think with any other Michael Jackson song. Genius.
Hi, i love your video reations👌🏻 You are so fun . Dirty Diana is one of My favorite songs of Michael Jackson. He is so amazing in rock stylee. I love it. 🔥💪🏻👌🏻
If you compare this version with live versions with Jennifer Batten on the guitar (she is an extraordinary guitarist, no doubt), you'll see how big Steve Stevens is as a musician.
I usually hate when vocal coaches do these reaction vids. They alway tend to pick apart the star as if they even have a Grammy. You woman Maggie did a great job explaining what Michael did without taking away from his brilliance. Like a painter can see a painting and recognize the genius...
Waa gonna say " This Woman" but didn't wanna sound like a jerk then changed it to "You Maggie" 😂.. I'm an idiot, I'm sorry. I swear I'm better then this. Lol
I like your reaction to the king of pop and I'm so grateful about that I hope next react to rock with you or the way you make me feel by Michael ✨❤️ wow fire🔥
A much different vocal style from Michael here. Always the incredible control though. Also has great taste in guitarists. One thing that’s not appreciated enough is the kind of shape you have to be in to do a show like that.
Saw MJ at the Milton Keynes Bowl on his Bad tour……absolutely brilliant. One of the best live acts I’ve seen & so glad I saw him before he got too weird. Brilliant concert 👍
Someone you really need to react to is solo Avi Kaplan. I'd recommend "All Is Well" the 7 Layers Session version for a beautiful, resonant original song, and for very different style "When I'm a Fool" live Sunset Sound version. He has been able to spread his writing and vocal wings since leaving Pentatonix.
I don't know if you're aware of it, but Avi Kaplan was an opera and classical voice major at Mount San Antonio College and had been offered a position with the Los Angeles Opera when he was recruited into Pentatonix in 2011.
Thank you for such an enjoyable video. Please do a reaction on Catalyst by Weird Genius because since you're an opera singer I feel like you're specifically qualified to give comments on that song. Keep up making videos.
The song is about the corrupt music industry, which is why he is so emotional. It's not about a groupie, but he has to make it seem that way with the 3rd verse.
You said the ending confused you? I imagine someone has explained it by now. The Diana was waiting in his limmo for him after all of that. So the saga continues.
I like this channel but I've never understood why people would make "reaction" videos of stuff they have seen/heard before. It's the first time reactions that are why people are drawn to reaction videos.
Typically that is very true! I get asked to react to things I’ve seen before because people want to hear my commentary, analysis, and perspective on the videos they love. So sometimes it’s more than just a reaction but also my thoughts as to why something is so awesome.
This woman doing the reaction is not an opera classic opera singer because every time she tried to sing a Michael Jackson song she's got a deep voice she can't hit those notes so I know she's not a real professional like she's claiming she is she just a Michael Jackson fan and she's wishing that she can hit notes like him

His rhyme schemes on this one is crazy!!! Literally on elite rapper level! The greatest to ever do it!
He gave his all in every performance and in every song. Thank you for reacting to my favorite artist!
I saw him live in Gothenburg 88, it was MAGIC!
Was there too! Life changing experience 🙏🙏🙏
The last part of the video when he is about to get into the car, you can see the “Diana” is in it and he stays staring at her. Amazing reaction! Love this song anf of course I love him deeply! ❤
He was the only true King of Pop Rock and Soul. Luckily, I was still able to see him live on stage.
You're SO lucky! That's one of my many regrets in life.
I am so jealous of that:( i live with it that i never seen him live:(
The most underrated guitarist out there imo is Steve Stevens who did this for Michael. He's Billy Idol's guitarist
One of the most underrated songs by Michael I love this song this and they don't care about us are in my top 5 of his hits
Your joy is infectious when you watch MJ. Always makes me happy to see you so excited. 👑
Dirty Diana is a very underrated Michael Jackson song
Yay! So glad to see Dirty Diana hit the YT! Such a fabulous song! Great job Maggie! Keep up the great work!
He would be the best rock singer in the world ❤ He is the king of Music

Really, that was one of my favorite songs of the king 👑 Michael Jackson.
I love how Michael❤thrilled you as much as he affected me! More of Michael, please❤❤❤

His best era imo
He looked hot❤

Plus i was in a bad relationship and trying to get out of it when I got the car. oh well I'm happy now but dang I miss that car.
He invested a lot in every song, but I guess in this one, especially, he put all of his soul on it.
One of my favourites songs of Michael Jackson with the Guitar Wizardry of Steven Stevens
Diana, have that stress in that breathing . Singing from his soul. ❤
I saw him in Stockholm 1992 on the dangerous tour but unfortunately this was not on the setlist. But damn that was a great show, absolutely fantastic
I was there too. Got that the chance in 88 and 92
- life altering experiences. He’s literally in my thoughts all the time. A very very special man, unforgettable. 🙏❤️🙏
Among MJ's best and that is really saying something. Really gets you moving. 🕺🏿LOVED your reaction!
My favorite MJ song, and your reaction was so good! Really reflects how we all feel when we are aught up listening to his music.
Yes! I love the way his breath catches when he’s talking to “Diana” but when he’s singing her response, he sings through, very strongly & firmly, without catching his breath or breaking up the words.
His greatest track ever and that guitar was ridiculous

@itsjustnaima Yeah well she had a soft spot for his songs
Pretty sure it was abt Diana Ross tho
One of my FAVORITE Michael Jackson songs!! The Way You Make Me Feel is amazing as well.
One of my favorite MJ songs, MJ has a special place in my heart because I’m named after him in tribute to my oldest sister who died 3 months before I was born so I only know her from pictures and stories
The KING... The GOAT... A Genius...FOREVER thé KING OF POP
Michael jackson is extraordinary person in the world

This song doesn't get enough recognition

That's a great song
I love your accent Maggie! What state are you from?

The ending is Diana is waiting in the limo.
Hi, i love your video reations👌🏻 You are so fun .
Dirty Diana is one of My favorite songs of Michael Jackson. He is so amazing in rock stylee. I love it.
🔥💪🏻👌🏻
Thats Steve Stevens from Billy Idol's band on guitar.
Oh, he was so sexy! LOVE this song! One of my favorites & he’s the best artist to ever exist.
You should check out the alternate directors cut version it’s a lot different
The end, that's Dirty Diana waiting for him in his limo.
I think I would have loved to see Michael with you at one of his concerts!! How's everything going with you?!
If you compare this version with live versions with Jennifer Batten on the guitar (she is an extraordinary guitarist, no doubt), you'll see how big Steve Stevens is as a musician.

This song is such fire, but Slash on guitar just gives it a whole other vibe!
Yeah just one problem it was not Slash who is in the song or the clip!!! It was Steve Stevens!!!
@@szeleddie OMG, I was not aware of this! For all this time I had thought it was Slash! ROFLMAO!
