had it sideways right away! thanks man!!!
I use to take the fuse out but this is much better thx brother! 👊
Got stuck in snow 4 times today.
Will most likely be a game changer for me that special mode.
Thanks
It really helps with getting up hills in snow, good luck out there!!
@@hoontron594 yo this is amazing, Washington just got hit with the snowpocalypse and it's been gettin me stuck all over the place cause the wheels just won't bother turning
@@iphoneawesome123 super happy to help!! Have an amazing day my man!!
Exactly why I watched it. stuck in snow 3 times cause tcs kept me stuck!
Thank you for this! That ESP really bites hard when it engages.
You’re welcome! I only ever had problems in the snow, ESP really cuts out the power and grip!
Forgot how I did it last year lol. Thanks for the vid. So annoying driving in snow with that crap on. I love passin' by people.
Enjoy!! So happy every year when the seasonal thanks come in for this video haha!!
@@hoontron594 It's such a must thing do to during winter as long as you're not going 50+. She gets a little sketchy lol.
Awesome, thank you for this!
You’re welcome, enjoy!!
I have 2015 66kw turbo rearwheel drive and looking for a way to disable for snow fun
I got my smart car tuned after I get the intake and all I wanted to do was slide a smart car I just did successfully 5 minutes ago and its the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life
That's so wonderful to hear! Enjoy!!
hahaha me too about a month ago i took my dads smart when it was raining and did some slides its so fun enjoy brother
Just got one of these and in less than 24 hours of owning it the TCS light stays on and on the occasion turns off for a few seconds, any ideas what that could be before I chase up the dealership on it
Game changer
tcs turns on again if i start the engine again?
I can't wait to do this when I get off work. Do you think I can break the tires loose on wet pavement. And did you ever feel like you were going to tip over when you were sliding?
nick walter for best results try and do it on a fine grit asphalt surface, if your going to attempt a burnout in the dry. Avoid rapid deceleration while sliding, and you won't feel any tip over feeling.
Time to go off-roading now... only if your hand is at least 9" wide. LOL
forgive my ignorance..but what is the benefit of this?
does it help for a faster pullout?
or
does it help for driving in the snow?
The benefit of this is to help maintain throttle, which enables better throttle response while cornering and the ability to "drift" too
The benefit is a more fun to drive vehicle.
I have a smart fortwo 2014 but i didn’t know how turn off ESP, if someone can explain me, thank you, ( it’s french car)
Unfortunately North American Smarts have a different ESP shut off method, see if you can find out if there is a fuse you can unplug to disable ESP
what kind of trasmission has this smart 451? i have the same but it's different!
This is the 5-Speed sequential found in North American 451's
oh i understand i think that your trasmission is better than mine, i have a smart 451(Italy).
@@hoontron594 I am in Canada and my 451 is a six-speed sequential diesel. Varying needs in different markets perhaps.
Thanks !
Did someone know how to do it in a forfour 2016?
Since this video was made in USA we don't have the forfour, but maybe the new fourtwo works the same way. I use the smart car of america online forum for information on smarts, they may have the answer for you. Thanks for watching!!
I know I'm a year late, but I believe you cannot do this on the 453's.
And what happened after;;; if i want to have again the abs ,esp
Shut off Smart, turn back on.
@@johndaugherty3544 thx
Sadly this isn't working on european smart :(
Sorry to here that, there is also a way to shut off the driver assist systems by removing the fuse that regulates them, but I am unsure which fuse number as the North American and European smarts use different engines. Hope this helps :)
Now it’s a race car
Sure felt like it!!
What two buttons? I do not have two buttons
On either side of the speedometer there should be two black tab style buttons, some pure models may not have them
Help
@@goncaloribeiro9227 You good?
Those steps do not work on my 2012 Smart Car.
Those steps worked on my 2012. Maybe different regions have different settings?
Forza Motorsport ABS: On stability assists: *Off*
I can’t do it because i can’t reach both lol
Haha it's really hard, even with big hands!! Keep trying, I hope you can make it!!
