Man thats what I tried to do when I worked there lol I was hoping to get my own store but a better job cause of the was tripled what I was gettin at gnc but I loved that job man. I wasn’t a pushy sales man and still put up great numbers. I always liked to be honest and know what your goals were first. Created my own little gnc family. Definitely would of stayed if the pay was better lol
@@goldensmile7288 I used to go buy L-Citrulline and the dude would always try to upsell me to the pro. I would have to sit there for literally 5-10 minutes just telling him no. And I would only be saved when a customer came in and he didn't want to embarrass himself lmao. He even went as far to tell me he would ban me if I kept just getting one item.
Now if you say no and they argue with you now that's annoying, I wouldn't buy a thing and just leave make him lose his time, but if I say no and they don't insist I respect that because to sell and keep the customer happy iits their job.
As a gnc employee, we only really push our vitamins because there’s a daily sales goal on vitamins, and if we get over the daily goal that means more money in our pockets. Most of the time I usually just tell people what I recommend if they need any help or tips
Welcome to sales brody, it’s like when I worked at a gym giving people their complimentary session with a trainer which was really just us having them sit through a sales pitch, workout for 20-30 mins then hopefully get sold on said sales pitch
FACTS. they be tryna give you the WHOLE bundle. Then they be like: "Looks like we don't have that in stock, let me go ahead and order it for you and have it here by the end of the day"
I mean all of that will help in the long run auto delivery was a bit extra but It does save you a lot and you can cancel it online and keep the savings
I went two days ago and I bought h bc thin mints flavor but the dude was super chill he threw in sun prime cause he noticed I was dehydrated and let me try a bottle of the vanilla flavor of what I bought charge free
Seriously, 90 percent of the gnc stores I go are ignorant teen to mid 20 s guys trying to sell as much as they can to you, I know its a lot of information to learn about but ask someone who actually knows what to get before going there, can't trust these cats 😂
Damn this is hilarious. Real talk tho.. I recently got the gnc mega men multivitamin. I’ve been taking it for a week with fish oil. It’s been making me very nauseated and my arms are literally tingling. I also experienced the flush. Yesterday after eating four raw eggs the last couple days I got really sick feeling. I have concluded it wasn’t the eggs and is the vitamin. Today I didn’t take it. And I’m gonna just cook the eggs. But should I keep taking the vitamin or should I stop it? I noticed a lot more energy while taking the vitamin but the side effects are making me feel sick and confused like. Do I need to give it more time for my body to adjust or should I stop it?
Yeah some vitamins do that to me too. Like 1-a-day and mega men have made me feel crappy for the rest of the day. I have had luck with orange triad and animal pak (just 1 pack of this per day)
@@popodood yeah I noticed the energy increase with the mega men, which I liked, but the negative effects far outweighed the slight energy boost. I quit taking it after a couple weeks. I tried to wait to see if my body would get used to it, but I kept feeling worse.
This is exactly what happened to me when I walked in for the first time last month. 😂
Same bro exact same shit axact same suggestion 😂
What? They just tried to sell you stuff cuz they’re salesmen
The GNC I live by actually has a really cool guy who works at the front and he doesn’t try to sell you 50 items but instead gives you real tips

They’re sneaky af about it
Same but they recommend the holy grail of protein thus far , wheybolic ripped
U had to have signed up for it dumbbdumb. You probably weren't paying attention when the person was explaining it.
So annoying, I’ve even argued with employees because I decide to only buy one item.
Most of them are ridiculous and have no idea what they’re talking about.

This was my exact freakin experience today is this the damn training video?
For me GNC is like target. You get lost in the advertising of “stress” reducing supplements💀
I mean for someone going in for their first time and saying they wanna “get bigger” this is the way to go
He's a salesman,what do you expect? It's his job.
This is why I’ve only been to GNC once. Funny how my local store is now closed permanently.

So true! We can’t help it. They make us.
I actually like GNC and feel like their deals are worth it
Every time I go there I feel like I got ripped off
I hate that this was me when I worked there. Entirely too accurate
Exactly what happened just couple weeks ago lol
I mean all of that will help in the long run auto delivery was a bit extra but It does save you a lot and you can cancel it online and keep the savings
Hmmm my GNC usually has a kid working there that won’t even say hello may I help you.

Yeah, just go to McDonalds. A few weeks, you'll definitely be gaining some weight (and a whole lot else)
Gotta build those baskets bigger and pro pays for its self! Pro box is a free 15$ value of hot garbage😃
Absolute garbino. It’s all to make you think you’re getting something free.
