@@prodjakera Who says? Creatine builds up in your system. 1 gram per day for 7 days is 7 grams. 😂 The body excretes the excess if you have extra. Imagine 5 grams a day for 7 days… that’s 35 grams. That’s quite a bit. The body can only really store so much of it. I have been taking creatine for many years @ 1 gram a day consistently. I feel the effects of it. I’m already 40. I have been taking it since 2008. 😂
If you’re running AND lifting, sounds like a great idea. has no side effects. People who say otherwise don’t really know what they’re talking about. Creatine has been highly researched.
I’ve always been a power lifter (only supp was creatine free preworkout) but while training for my first full marathon in 2023, I started losing a lot of mass and strength. Hopped on creatine a couple months later and I was able to maintain a body weight of 206-212 lbs at 5’9.
@@jehrodsmith9842 the real best runners are classified as underweight. not saying that's a good idea, but unless your running a 400 or lower, you can only lose by having beyond essential muscle mass. Training strength is great, but adding weight is bad.
This is exactly my thought. The water weight is like adding 10lbs... When I took it, my endurance/performance may have been better. But at the cost of my joints. My knees/shins were hurting a lot more with that extra weight. I was getting winded faster, which is mostly a cardiovascular thing, but the water weight didn't help that either! Overall I think Creatine is great if your goal is to lift heavier and heavier, like a strongman. If you are just trying to be fit/maintain a healthier lifestyle, there really is not point. It's a supplement.. at the end of the day you don't need it! It's like vitamins
It doesn’t work. Maybe 800m and down but if you run the mile and up I’m sorry but you shouldn’t take it. If someone reads this comment and wants to know what to take instead we can debate.
@@Taragarh_guri no, just my opinion tho. Creatine has a main relation with ATP which I honestly don’t see working past the 400 so that’s why I said 800 just to give me some space, definitely not the 1500 tho.
I run 12k thrice a week. Before creatine I suffer a lot of leg soreness. 4 months after creatine.. I don't feel no pain the next morning after the work out. I lift heavy...No soreness at all. Lost 90 pounds last 9 months. I believe everyone has their own experience with it.
Just make sure to get lots of water if you take this! My high school football team couldn’t move their arms and legs after practice one day
Why explain please and thank u

Yes, I do as a runner at small doses 1g daily. Helps with recovery, power, and less fatigue.
Which creatine is bst for runners??❤
1g daily is far below an effective dose, and is likely doing little to nothing beneficial

thank u for the explanation what creatine is :)
Depends. I think the extra amount of water-weight can be taxing. But I still take it sometimes usually after workout just for the recovery benefits.
There’s no pint in taking it all if you only take it sometimes
Shit works, before creatine I couldn’t run more than a mile, I took it then suddenly ran 11.5 miles without stopping, it works better with BCAA’s

I wouldn’t recommend it because it adds weight to your body if we’re being real distance running relies on weight heavily.
yes but it’s muscle weight not fat weight and if you’re lifting that basically means nothing other than big muscle
