Old enough to remember when Walmart only had shitty protein powder
Sixstar ONLY
😂 👍🏼 yup
Body fortress was actually pretty good had creatine in there
I miss when Sam's club had the bagged protein powder for like 30 bucks. It had like 60 servings(1 scoop) in it and was decent, what they have now is better, same price point less servings(1 scoop) unfortunately though
I've never took pre-workout before until like a week ago and holy freaking crap dude it actually makes me feel like I'm freaking Rich Piana I was looking good but damn I'm going to be crazy after this
and I bet you LOOKED LIKE RICH TOO😤 Keep up the good work brotha✊🏼
Ah, I remember those days.
Now I need two scoops to get out of bed, and another two before my workout just to feel a buzz, then another 1 as an afternoon pick me up.
Haven't had a tolerance break in 15 years. 😂
They just added Cbum raw pre workouts and protein powders to Walmart
That's huge! I'll be on the lookout👀
@@bodycompprescriptionis signature Hyde good? In your standards?
@@invisible2355 not really tbh
C4 is old reliable. People shyt on c4 for some reason but when you don’t have anything else c4 gets the job done .
louder for the people in the back🗣
Yes
Solid review. Walmart has a spectrum of preworkouts, from the $20 beginner items (mostly caffeine with some tingle) like C4 Sport, Six Star, and Hyde Signature to the $35 advanced items like Ryse, Bucked UP, C4 Ultimate, Hyde Nightmare, and RedCon Total War. (Pssst I work for one of those brands, can I send you some product????).
Could u plz rank all the pre workouts u mentioned in this video from best to worst plz crazy enough😂😅 I was just at Walmart looking at some of these to see if they might be decent tried to look up some reviews for all these products found ur video so thank u
If I had to rank them:
1. Lit AF
2. Bucked Up Woke AF
3. Gold Standard
4. Ryse Element
5. C4 Ultimate
6. Alani Nu
7. Women's Best
You can definitely swap a bunch of these because the "best" will depend on what you're personally looking for in a preworkout (energy, focus, pump, etc). I'd personally just stay away from 6 & 7 because they're just not great formulas. Hope that helps!
I love pushing myself it’s nice to have pre but I don’t need it or use it often
im victim of sixstar lmao. ive since upgraded
we all start somewhere! for me it was C4...just like most people lol
My personal recommendation is Hyde nightmare. I like the jawbreaker flavor.
ONG shi tingle your whole body
Ay! I agree 😉
I’m looking at getting ETAFOR, honestly can’t find anything else that even compares
I’m starting to think these preworkouts are getting overpriced and less potent. It’s almost better just to drink a cup of coffee before workout.
Ever since I came to the dark side of preworkouts, the store bought brands are very lack luster formulas that charge crazy prices. Like I can't fathom playing to take such weak pump and stim formulas anymore
You definitely can't get potent dosages like that from the generic formulas at walmart
womens best is actually pretty good especially if you don't like caffeine or you're those people who can't handle alot of caffeine.
if you're new to preworkout and/or you're sensitive to stimulants, I can see why this would be appealing. But 100mg of caffeine won't really contribute much to your workout & the other ingredients are still severely under-dosed. So objectively speaking, the preworkout doesn't have much value for the cost, but again, if you're new to the gym or new to preworkouts, it's not a bad place to start, but there are MANY other pre's that offer better performance benefits & value
I bought the last one just for the flavor 😂😂 drink it as if it’s a regular drink mix
those Ring Pop and Sunny D ones sound like a nightmare ngl
Tried both! I enjoyed the formula but I got sick of the taste pretty quickly
I just got to a point where I'm taking the gym pretty seriously and my friend told me to try pre-workout and I picked up c4 cause it was on sale (original i think) I've heard people say its alright and good enough for beginners. Is c4 good or should i get something else after this tub is gone?
Muscle tech boogeyman punch
How is ghost?
Like I’ve had the cans and they’ve worked and taste better than any other energy drink out there
but never had the actual pre workout version of it
I'm a big fan of most of their formulas! I'd definitely recommend Ghost
I have been getting through this tub of Ghost Pineapple pre and have liked it. Looking to switch it up after this tub and try something different but i would give it a try if you havent.
Trash product and nkt worth the money as a pre.
@@bodycompprescriptiongot myself this cheaper pre workout
It’s called mr Hyde, only using it because I don’t do intense workouts and I feel like mr Hyde will do the job
And it’s more affordable
I have a question out of C4 ,Woke AF, Total War what is the best pre workout? I'm looking for hydration, creatine, magnesium and all the vitamins D/b/ other.
Out of those 3, C4 ultimate gets you the closest to what you're looking for
@@bodycompprescription given the choice of only the two, would you use C4 or Ryse?
@@Hazardxv Ryse
tf kinda Walmarts do you guys have?? Mine has 6 star and C4 lmao
Unfortunate😅
Would you recommend alani for a beginner?
Yes! The formula is fairly simple & it's not going to offer too many benefits, but if you're looking for something to give you a little extra energy for your workouts, Alani will be just fine
When you praised C4 I couldn't believe anything else you said.
there's a significant difference between generic C4 and C4 ultimate. it's literally just about breaking down dosages...compare the labels, my friend
The last one was market as a women's pre workout.
True, but the formula is still lacking ingredients, effective dosages and it's way over-priced, even for a women's formula.
would you reccommend Hyde nightmare, raw bum, or ryse godzilla? all abt same price to serving
I'd go with Raw or Ryse. Both are solid formulas but i'd personally go with Raw because it's lower in stim & beta alanine. Godzilla has quite a solid pump formula though...it just depends on what you want to get out of your pre!
@@bodycompprescription I went with ryse didn't feel a thing with 1 scoop, not even itching for some reaspn
my walmart has woke af, ryse, and total war. haven’t made the decision on what to get yet
Those are all decent options! Just fyi, Total War doesn't taste the best, but if that doesn't matter then you can't go wrong with any of those
Ryse better
Woke AF taste pretty good
@@bodycompprescriptioni have been working out for about 2 months now. I want to start taking pre workout, what are the best in your opinion for beginners with low caffeine tolerance? Thank you for any help
@@Sukuna8383scratch this underdosed stuff and just for gorilla mode. And if you can’t handle caffeine go gorilla mode nitric
Why does US & Canada have the same brands but different flavours?
My Walmart only has Six Star and C4
Which are both garbage ..sorry buddy
That's how my Walmart used to be, but they've been really upgrading their supps recently. Maybe that Walmart is just a little behind
@@slimnieves Yeah, not a huge fan of either of those
My walmart only has whey that it bro
the walmart woke af is waaay better than the original formula. the walmart one has 300 mg of theobromine instead of the original dendrobium and synephrine. and its 34$ instead of 54$ 👌🔥
20 servings instead of 30, comes out to virtually the same cost per scoop - but the ingredient flip is nice
@@trapdoor8888 yeah 10c cheaper per scoop at wally world! haha but the 300mg theobromine instead of synephrine and dendrobium is so much better. it makes it a completely different pre!
That creatine source from the C4 is HCL which requires less creatine than monohydrate. So in this case, the dosage is enough to cover your creatine for the day.
Even then youre just wasting money on HCL, which even then its not actually the DRD of HCL either so, mlral of the story is C4 still and always has sucked
I didn't have any issues with the dosage, I just (personally) think creatine in ANY preworkout is a bad choice, regardless of it being monohydrate or HCL. Most companies include it as a 'buzz word' because creatine has plenty of benefits, so the uneducated consumer thinks they're getting more bang for their buck by having creatine in their preworkout. But unless you're taking preworkout every single day, you would still need a creatine supplement on the days that you're not working out.
For me, I like it cause I don't need to worry about it for that day. That being said, I have a standalone creatine supplement, but I am not the average consumer
@@AlexisBravoTV If that's the case, then you're covered! Thanks for mentioning HCL vs monohydrate, I'm sure that'll help someone else out there!👍🏼
👏
Slow down, let me grab a pen and actually understand the good and the bad of pre work outs.
For real, thus guy is a hipster clown
Is total war for beginners ?
Total war is a decent beginner pre
This is literally 95% trash beginner pre workout lmao
What is focus? Is there an ingredient for that? The only useful ingredients in any preworkout are electrolytes and caffeine. Everything else is a waste of money
"focus" ingredients are usually cognitive enhancers that *may aid in memory, attention or mental clarity. These effects generally resemble being more "focussed" during a workout. Definitely not necessary but they're nice to have 👍🏼
They cheaper then gnc
How tf yo walmart got ryse sunny d and ring pop
It took a few weeks after Ryse announced that they were gonna be in Walmart, but all of the walmarts in my area have a decent supplement selection. It may just be a location thing, unfortunately😅
I like Optimum Nutrition Products But their Pre Work Out Is WAF! Protein Powder and Creatine is on Point!
I also love there Creatine and protein so thank you for that I would have considered it 😂
Did you know that bucked up/woke af is actually a brand made by and for women? Not saying you can't use it if you're a man, just thought I'd share because I thought it was pretty cool when I first saw it. Not enough brands out there from or for women
that's awesome!
What about Mr. Hyde
There are several versions...some of the ingredient lists are decent, but I've seen several versions at Walmart and I'm not a huge fan of most of them tbh
These dosages are so laughable Lmao this is why I'm glad I make my own for the same price but triple the servings.
the best way to do it✊🏼
Forgot total war
Energy is good, pump is ok, hydration is ok, no focus and tastes like doodoo
what is pump
Pump ingredients generally help with muscle blood-flow, hydration and/or performance during weight lifting
Ultimate c4 sucks makes you feel no energy at all
Thanks for looking out & letting everybody know!✊🏼
Do you even lift bro
nope
What about mr Hyde
The formula is subpar, I'd stay away
Bucked up?
Didn't even cover total war. The best one. Disappointed
sorry dr dylan, but total war has an average formula and it tastes like doodoo
@bodycompprescription you're hilarious, it's definitely better than the ones you reviewed but oh well
@@dr.dylan123 "better" is subjective based on needs/wants of the consumer
The preworkout at Walmart are under dosed versions of the original product. Don’t buy them there.
But do you work out?
No, I just study preworkout ingredients
Names are cringe
there is no subtlety to be found

Do you ever use this or workout lol
If you use alani powder just quit bro you better off with instant coffee with coke
