@@Dillworthz There's a somewhat common joke that if you are a world champion armwrestler and you walk into a bar in Moscow, you'll be the tenth-best armwrestler there. I actually heard this long before I met my wife (Belarusian) but one of her Russian friends told that joke to me and was surprised I'd heard it already. Hehe.

Definitely agree, it's much better when you have some idea what he's already talking about. Fortunately a friend of mine was a pro arm wrestler and trained at the gym I used to work at (which was more like a large studio)so I got a lot of first hand knowledge from him. I also found out how strong these guys are and how quickly they could snap all your tendons and ligaments if you actually tried to arm wrestle them.
I am almoast willing to learn all about the sport, just so I can understand the jokes
I honestly just respect him more as a creator
I’ve been arm wrestling for 3 years, competing at a provincial level and even have had the opportunity to pull with Devon. An amazing guy he is, our community is like a brotherhood and this video was just awesome!

Devon is definitely rockin' the homeless Wolverine look, and your description of him as a fusion of him and Goku is pretty accurate. I have to subtract a few points for not mentioning 'the way of the giant pumpkin' but that's because I'm a huge fan of Devon.

A major detail that you left out about Oleg is that he wasn't born with a massive left arm. Actually, his left arm was stunted and underdeveloped and they told him it'd never be as strong as his right. So he trained exclusively his left arm and became the greatest left handed arm wrestler ever.

You have literally recreated my entire arm wrestling experience as a non-participant. My first introduction to arm wrestling was through Devon Larratt in the video "Strongest Man vs Strongest Fish" back in the early COVID era. Armwrestling videos, Devon's charisma and Dennis's acromegaly kept my sanity during those dark lockdown days.
Same, became a fan during my wife's labor during COVID. Hospital Wouldn't let me leave the room. Saw Devon vs Thor, then vs Shaq, then vs a 2 handed Marcellus Wiley and I was hooked.
I got introduced to it through devon armwrestling the WWE guy brawn strowman. They got into like a little fake fight and everything. It bridged my interest in wwe to armwrestling.
