The fact that Shannon got an award-winning host to blurt out "New York is full of gay people?" in the most shell-shocked tone possible is kind of a remarkable feat
Another great video, you are so subtly funny and your delivery kills me every time. The way Alecia was treated in 32 still kinda enrages me, she was so positive and uplifting towards her tribe mates just to deal with bullying in return.
Alecia for second chance! Production screwed her by putting on Brawn tribe when she should have been on Beauty tribe. And she still made the best of it by starting fire and looking for idols while being harassed by two grown men.
I totally agree that Scott and Jaison bullied her and went too far. But I didn’t like Alecia or take her seriously after her first confession. She said she’s a tough person because she swam with sharks in Bali and other things. I’m thinking, just because you did cool things on vacation doesn’t make you a badass 😂 I got the feeling she had an inflated sense of ego
It’s still insane how this Emmy award winning prime time television show had a tribal council which was basically a glorified MW2 lobby without the slurs and the shit mics.
Okay but why WAS Jeff rubbing Brandon’s back for that entire conversation 😭😭 I had never really paid it that much mind til you pointed it out at the beginning and now I can’t stop laughing at the absurdity of it all
Its cause in the heat of the moment, Jeff Probst was probably thinking 'this is it, we made ourselves an iconic moment and Brandon Hantz is a mainstay star'. But that was before the editing process and massive negative reaction to the ejection.
It's a technique used to calm people down if they're panicking, experiencing anxiety, or a low to mid level of aggression (Brandon was doing all three at once). It was also a more gentle way of restraining him.
@@nathandanczak7822 as far as I can think of, because usually bringing up what a player you are in response to an attack like that has the stink of "doth protest too much"
Woo gets so much hate for his decision. But if not for that, what should have been the first great new school season ends with its best player getting screwed by a last minute rule change. It would be much worse than when the same thing had happened to Cirie. At least Parvati was a worthy champion in her own right. But watching Tony the juror have to choose between two nobodies after we’d seen him run rings around the cast for months would be such a bitter note to close on that I truly believe the renaissance would never have happened after that.
Yeah, and imagine Woo on Winners at War instead of Tony. I will admit, I was sad at the time it aired that Tony won instead of Woo, but looking back, he was the correct winner.
I am somewhat surprised not to see Bhanu's exit on here, though it's here as B Roll. It didn’t seem like they had much to discuss after being at tribal so often to where there isn’t really anything un-said anymore.
His story about how he grew up living dirt poor and how he preserved through that to become a US citizen which was also likely heavily embelished probably lasted a long time.
I credit Kass for influencing Woo's decision to take Tony to the end. She kept telling him that Tony was their "Russell" to beat in the end. Woo had so much confidence he was going to win that he took his friend to get 2nd.
I would probably assume there was more cut from before Varner outed Zeke, and they decided to keep the important discussion after Zeke was outed in because it serves to punctuate the point of accepting people for who they are and not judging people based on their past. If Zeke didn’t consent to leaving the scene of him being outed and discussing being a trans man in, I have a hunch they would’ve added in the extra conversations had before the revelation. I could be wrong.
There is no way Bhanu’s tribal isn’t on here. Only four people and there was only one possible outcome which was so obvious they didn’t even bother voting?
The New Era has ruined 3 tribes for me, yes the last 10 season of the classic era did expand from 2 to 3 at some point but with 20 starting players the tribe portion felt like it was more of a challenge with 8 not making it to the jury, almost half the field. But with only 6 not making not its worse.
