Honorable honorable mention: the fire in Australian Outback vs. Skupin. Though it’s [likely] a premature karmic smackdown, I still feel that the fire deserves some recognition for delivering justice.
A few more mentions: 1. Vanuatu, the men get outnumbered at the merge, after weakening their tribe by voting out the younger guys, and keeping in Rory, who is a huge liability. Bubba using his kids as an excuse was extremely cringy. 2. Cook Islands. Penner flipping on Raro, after they showed massive hubris. Later, Candice is voted out for her hypocrisy. 3. Micronesia. Joel gets blindsided right after the swap, by the same outsiders and clear liabilities he kept in. 4. Tocantins. Tyson gets blindsided at the same tribal in which he was needlessly smug to Sierra. 5. Samoa. Ben gets voted out after trying to defend a racial slur. 6. HvV. Boston Rob gets voted out after his obnoxious attitude the tribal before it. 7. Philippines. Jeff Kent gets booted after sticking himself in a corner with his anti returnee attitude. 8. Also Philippines. Abi Maria’s hubris backfires when her ally gets booted, and later she gets called out at tribal for her bad behavior. 9. Cagayan. Garrett gets blindsided, with an idol in his possession, after being extremely bossy at camp, to a point where even Spencer, his ally, cringed. 10. WaW. Boston Rob’s bossiness finally backfires, and right after the swap.
@@NYChica23 In HvV he deservedly lost but I will never understand how people think he was anything but robbed in his first season. No matter how unlikable he was if that season were further into survivor history he would have won the jury because he just played that much better of a game. Frankly he would have won in seasons before that too because most seasons do not have such an emotional and non gameplay focused jury. They knew natalie played the worse game and just wanted Russel to lose because their feelings were hurt. I hate that people defend the person who just got dragged to the end.
@@kayden2119 Very simple...you have to play Survivor with the hand you're dealt, and you can't just go blaming the jury for your failure to win. At some point, you have to realize that whether you like it or not, the jury's perception of you is what ultimately determines the outcome. The people that are playing to win understand that jury management is half the battle and will try to strike that balance between being the shot callers/leaders while also voting people out in ways that won't leave them feeling resentful. Russell did not understand that balance, because just to cite one example, the way he handled the Monica vote was not good, because she was straight up telling him that if he continued his intimidation tactics, she'd turn the jury against him. He didn't listen, and the results speak for themselves. On the other hand, Natalie got that this jury valued social gameplay above strategic, and from the moment that she could, she was building those key relationships with the people she knew would impact her game success, and it was her relationships with the women of Galu + Brett that were the stepping stone for that majority to crumble and give Foa Foa an opening
The line from Abi Maria lives rent-free in my head next to "He's a Jew, he can't eat the meat 'cause he's a Jew" despite the fact that I haven't watched either seasons
You should do a video about the "best flip pitches", where you talk about people who did the best job at convincing a person to flip to their side (ex. Coach to Cochran, Hayden to Ciera, etc.)
How is season 32 not in here?? Tai not using the super idol to save Scott in Kaoh Rong! I was rooting so hard against Jason and Scott and that was probably the most satisfying possible way for one of them to go out, in my opinion
Great list! I thought of Gabby leading Christian's blindside after he was such a rock for her all season. It wasn't until the loved ones visit where Christian showed a different side of himself to his girlfriend, and then Gabby gathered the troops t strike. The satisfying ending of Gabby being blindsided and Christian still not voting for her was a satisfying conclusion!
HARD disagree about the Lex thing. Lex voting out Ethan when a lot of people were already gunning for him (and didn't owe him anything) and having a conversation with him to explain reasoning and make sure their friendship is still intact is completely different than Rob asking for a personal favor, immediately turning the votes onto Lex, lying about it, and then laughing and bragging. Rob deserved every bit of shade he got at tribal council and Lex was 100% justified in how he felt.
I mean, sure, you can retroactively say it was justified, based on Rob's confessionals. But unless I'm mistaken, thats not really something they have access to at ponderosa.
@@queenzoroark Pretty much. He was a previous winner so as soon as they acquired Ethan, the other tribe members wanted him out. Lex switched the vote from Ethan to Hatch and then Colby, saving Ethan in the process, so didn't owe Ethan anything.
According to Lex during a Q&A on EW during the rise of the pandemic, he claims that the real reason He voted out Jerri over Amber was mainly because of Kathy. Kathy couldn't stand Jerri anymore and her tribe had already saved Jerri twice prior to this vote. It makes a little sense given how much she and Shi-Ann couldn't stand her from the time they picked her to be in their tribe to the day Jerri was voted out. Kathy probably didn't give a crap about strategy at that point and just wanted Jerri gone no matter what. Now Lex could of been talking out of his ass during that Q&A and there may be nothing to back up that claim, but seeing as it's been over 17 years between All-Stars and the Q&A in 2020, I don't see any reason for Lex to have made it up after you had all of that time to reflect since then.
The Savage boot is one that I'm mixed on, Pearl Islands is great and probably is better with Lil being there to ruin everyone's plans. However, Skinny Ryan and Lil are such buzzkills that I don't think they do well on any tribe and people forget that if the Outcast twist never happens, Savage probably leads the pathetic Morgan tribe to the greatest comeback in Survivor history and takes Rupert's spot for one of the most beloved contestants ever. It really speaks volumes about the guy that Probst talks more about how dirty Savage was done than Savage himself.
some other moments i love are the fans winning the first immunity in Micronesia after the favs were being super cocky along with Russell having his hat burned in HvV after biting Jaison’s socks in samoa
Not really cuz it’s dumb. Shirin was the one who started the situation by making up a rumor about will lying about his auction prize. Tbh a lot of the drama from the season comes from the auction. Anyways I have no sympathy for Shirin and no one should because she played the victim the whole time.
@@mikemars2112 you clearly didn’t watch the season and just remember a basic edit. I hope someone shitty pisses you off and everyone agreees with them and not you. But again it’s just a tv show 🤷🏾♂️
@@JimmyVermeer I wouldn’t go as far as saying it should be number 1, but it definitely should be up there. No need to filter out karmic moments that weren’t by votes, like Abi Maria being called out for her bratty behavior, or Candice getting a truth bomb at the auction before going to exile again. What I find baffling is that there are people who defend those 2, as well as Will. They don’t deserve any defending whatsoever. They’re immature, they can’t take criticism, and they complain like brats over a game not going their way. For Will and Candice, it’s also hypocritical. Candice betrayed her tribe for no good reason (and no, hormones is not a good reason), and Will had already given everyone a reason to “question his integrity” in the Vince vote.
@@raheemfielder-bey998 Except Shirin wasn't the only one who had questioned his integrity, and Will knew it, so to single her out just seemed uncalled for
To add to Andrew Savage's misery, in his 2nd season, he gets idoled out when Kelly Wentworth nullifies 9 votes, and gets taunted by Abi with her "at least you made the jury" line as he walked away from tribal council
My personal favorite karmic justice moment is Russell losing to natalie. Russell was such an asshole during the season and treated natalie like an afterthought. Watching his face at the reunion was glorious 😊
Awesome Video Topic! :D Keep this up, this was extraordinarily fun watch, even compared to the regular high quality you spoil us with. I'm having trouble coming up with extra topics, but focusing on evocative tribal results, or just stories, as in this case of comeuppances.
I would add Chrissy winning the random rock draw family visit over Ben, who had betrayed her in a way that made her and Ryan look stupid. It was pure luck, and pure karma
To be a little fair to Lex, while yes his anger towards Rob's blindside was hypocritical, its not as hypocritical as most think The thing with him sending home his friends compared to his friend sending him home is the contexts behind both. Ethan and Colby, a returning winner and arguably the most popular Survivor player at the time respectively, were drawing dead going into All Stars, and they and everyone else knew it. With that in mind, it makes a bit more sense that he'd go after them sooner rather than later and that his "nothing personal" mantra actually fit there. Because even if it stung at the time, both Colby and Ethan had to have known it was inevitable that he wouldn't work with them just for being friends outside the game In contrast, Rob explicitly promised Lex that they'd work together if Lex kept Amber (an objectively bad move) and backed out of it immediately following the merge, which is why I think he meant in his speech during final trial council I can easily see an alternate timeline where, instead of making the promise, Rob throws that challenge, votes out Alicia, and the boot order goes exactly the same after (with Jerri in Alicia's spot). In that event, I can see Lex being a little less bitter about the merge vote off and more willing to give Rob the vote In short, yes Lex was being hypocritical in his anger to Rob for betraying him, but not as much of a hypocrite as people like to say
The best karma was Lex! He was such a flipping hypocrite, he made me sick. And to make it worse, even after he watched the season (and saw him telling people "it's not personal" as he voted them out), he STILL denied he was a hypocrite, and Kathy defended him. I don't care if a group of them made a pact before they went to the island - once they're playing, all bets are off and it's a clean slate. Lex got outplayed 100%, and his ego couldn't (and still can't) take it. It was so enjoyable to watch him get voted out!
Won't defend Lex but so much, but until someone provides evidence that he begged Ethan and/or Colby to make moves against their own interests, I can't buy the "it's the same thing!" argument.
I would agree it's not quite the same thing and in hindsight is one of the most brutal backstabs in the show's history. His voting confessional for Ethan is so petty, that it makes it hard to be on Lex's side afterwards (Especially when it happens to be aimed towards one of the nicest people in Survivor history).
Another element to it that nobody seems to acknowledge is the fake way Rob approaches it. He goes to Lex and Kathy and acts like it was a devastating decision, then to the camera he’s laughing about it and talking about how much of an idiot lex is
@@listo393 Rob 100% deserved to lose All-Stars and was a dick about it. I think he genuinely felt bad about the Lex boot. I know guys like Boston Rob who had the same level of bravado anytime they win at his age and more often than not, have no idea when they are crossing a line. Between the voting confessional and how broken he seems at FTC, I don't see Boston Rob as being a Heidik level sociopath that set out to crush his opponents (Honestly, he might have won Shii-Ann's vote if he was a little more cold at that vote).
so glad to see someone who feels the same about the lex vote out in all stars…. like it’s okay when you do it but it happens to you and you’re mad?? nah bro
The most satisfying moment of karma in Survivor history in my opinion is Austin voting out J Maya and Kellie in 45 because they dared to choose the advantage over a sandwich! That's just unnecessarily cruel ! 😡😤😭 Also, Savage's Zumiez-esque jury outfit in Cambodia still haunts me
You know, I get being annoyed at a betrayal for a player you really like. Heck, I still wish Cochran didn’t flip on Savaii even though his flip was perfectly justified for how he was treated, despite not being a good move for him imo. But Lex’s situation in All Stars is so blatantly hypocritical that I don’t get why people defend his behavior in All-Stars. Lex is allowed to feel betrayed and nobody can tell him otherwise, but him trying to make Rob’s betrayal of him as some morally outrageous behavior is ridiculous, especially after his betrayals of Ethan and Colby as you talked about. Heck, Lex’s confessional before voting off Ethan just makes his subsequent reaction to being voted off even more absurd. To be clear, I like Lex, I think he brought a lot of good to both of his seasons. However, I will always be critical of his bitterness on All-Stars knowing how blatantly hypocritical it was given the circumstances.
To be fair I'm a Lex defender here. He didn't make an explicit alliance or promise to Ethan. But Rob said "you take care of her, I take care of you". That's a pretty clear offer of alliance or at least not voting Lex out right away. If Lex didnt make an alliance or promise to Ethan then he didnt break anything, so I dont think this is hypocrisy
@@freddytang2128 Hell, Lex saved Ethan from being a boot right away TWICE, which was the original plan when Mogo Mogo was choosing the members from the dissolved Saboga. Ethan owes more to him than Lex does to him.
It is such a situational move, you can’t just use throw a challenge because you’re fed up with someone(Zapatera and Drew) The best challenge throws divide the outsiders and strengthen your odds going forward(Boran and New Zealand’s Hermosa tribe)
Only time it's smart to throw a challenge is at a swap when you have the majority and want to protect an alliance member that got swap screwed (Mike throwing immunity so Kelly would be safe), or you want to get out the biggest threat from the opposing tribe (Ethan throwing to get rid of clear threat Silas)
I disagree with the Cochran analyst, except the fact that Kieth was his ‘number one bully who had it coming.’ I think Cochran was safely under Jim’s wing who thought he could drag him to the final 3 with a goat named Dawn. If he stuck with the original plan (and told them he convinced the tribe to vote for Kieth) he would have made it further in the game and wouldn’t have been forced to draw rocks. The alliance he switched to was worse than what he was originally working with IMO.
I never understood the smugness of the Rotu four. They never had the numbers! Sure, no one in the previous 3 seasons had turned on their pre-merge alliance. But no one had been so smug and "in your face" about their alliance, either...especially when they were not at a numbers advantage. It didn't take much for Paschal and Neleh to see the writing on the wall and flip. If the Rotu four had played it closer to the hilt, they would have succeeded, and in all likelihood John would have won the season.
I really can’t comprehend how everyone jumps on Will for for his behavior against Shirin, but hardly anyone ever has time to talk about Shirin’s behavior. Both were wrong in my book. But one became an immediate pariah within the fandom, and one not only got off scot free, but was voted in for Second Chances.
Cochran shouldve stuck with savaii. either way, he didnt have a good chance of getting to the end but at least with Savaii, if he did get to the end he could actually win. Upolu jury could be won over. if he got to the end with Upolu he would get flamed at final tribal by the savaii jury and no chance of winning at all. also it wouldnt make sense for Ozzy to play the idol on Cochran becuz theyre actually trying to avoid rocks (just like Cochran). why would they waste the idol on Cochran? they know he isnt the target that Upolu is voting for cuz he is playing double agent. that would be like if Parvati played an idol for Russel at the merge of Heroes v Villains to secure his loyalty even tho she knows he isnt getting votes from the heroes cuz he is playing double agent. very silly logic

Honorable honorable mention: the fire in Australian Outback vs. Skupin. Though it’s [likely] a premature karmic smackdown, I still feel that the fire deserves some recognition for delivering justice.
@laurenpfeil I forget if it was Idoled Out or Peridiam who had the gem of a quote: "time has proven the fire correct."
Knowing that Lil only made 100k because people didn’t wanna spend 2 weeks with her is hilarious
Can we count Skupin falling in the fire as pre-karma? 😂
And Abi-Maria preemptively dispensing justice with a coconut to the noggin? 🥥😵
What he do?
@@amyanolaw Inappropriate pictures of minors. 😬

I’d say all his injuries are Karmic in that season. That and Denise winning
14:59 and then he came back in second chance and made it to the jury. And we got to see his jury fashion which 2000s in 2015.
My favorite karma moment from Survivor is The Aitu 4 after the mutiny. Savage, well played, and beating the odds. What more can you ask for.
Cook Island - The Aitu Four making an impressive run all the way to Final Four after being dessimated because of "Mutiny" twist
The Shirin moment lives rent free. It’s in my most common gifs used LOL
A few more mentions:
Honorable mention to the entire final tribal of HvV as karma against Russell
He can´t see that Survivor is social game.
@@popmans9999 Neither can his fans, because there's always at least one post on social media daily about how robbed he was
@@NYChica23 In HvV he deservedly lost but I will never understand how people think he was anything but robbed in his first season.
So glad to hear someone else agrees with me about Lexs All stars games preaches business over personal and then took everything personally
I actually like Savage but his elimination in Pearl Islands and Cambodia were both sweet sweet karma.
The line from Abi Maria lives rent-free in my head next to "He's a Jew, he can't eat the meat 'cause he's a Jew" despite the fact that I haven't watched either seasons
He made it to the jury!
An odd one: Purple Kelly getting immortalized for her edit subverting the producers' plans to punish her into obscurity.
« UA-cam sensation and dead fish cosplayer » I’m crying 😂😂😭
HARD disagree about the Lex thing. Lex voting out Ethan when a lot of people were already gunning for him (and didn't owe him anything) and having a conversation with him to explain reasoning and make sure their friendship is still intact is completely different than Rob asking for a personal favor, immediately turning the votes onto Lex, lying about it, and then laughing and bragging. Rob deserved every bit of shade he got at tribal council and Lex was 100% justified in how he felt.
@@justicepunch8758 Didn't Mogo Mogo chose Ethan because he would be an easy boot already?
I mean, sure, you can retroactively say it was justified, based on Rob's confessionals. But unless I'm mistaken, thats not really something they have access to at ponderosa.
@@roguemerc Rob stank of arrogance and pretentiousness the entire game. You probably didn't need to hear his confessionals for that to come across.
@@roguemerc Rob talked about how giddy he was that he "snaked" Lex to other tribemates. Surely that info got to Lex by the time that FTC happened.
@@queenzoroark Pretty much. He was a previous winner so as soon as they acquired Ethan, the other tribe members wanted him out. Lex switched the vote from Ethan to Hatch and then Colby, saving Ethan in the process, so didn't owe Ethan anything.
I kept saying “please let Savage be number one…” you didn’t disappoint.
Mike winning season 30 is the only way for the season to end!
Plus Jerri proved to be an egomaniac with how bitter she was even years after HvV, not to mention showing a bratty judgment.
Where's an honorable mention for Natalie White's win over Russell? (with an addendum that you could call Russell's full three season arc karmic)
The Lex karma bout has the double dip of Lex thinking he finally got revenge at FTC, just for B Rob to get engaged to Amber in the finale.
It really speaks volumes about the guy that Probst talks more about how dirty Savage was done than Savage himself.
some other moments i love are the fans winning the first immunity in Micronesia after the favs were being super cocky
along with Russell having his hat burned in HvV after biting Jaison’s socks in samoa
Roger Sexton boot episode and the downfall of the Rotu 4 is top tier karmic justice for me!
Why was the Shirin and Will thing merely an honourable mention? It should have been number one!
Not really cuz it’s dumb. Shirin was the one who started the situation by making up a rumor about will lying about his auction prize. Tbh a lot of the drama from the season comes from the auction. Anyways I have no sympathy for Shirin and no one should because she played the victim the whole time.
😂😂😂 @@raheemfielder-bey998

Natalie idoling Baylor out - long term karma for the Jeremy blindside
To add to Andrew Savage's misery, in his 2nd season, he gets idoled out when Kelly Wentworth nullifies 9 votes, and gets taunted by Abi with her "at least you made the jury" line as he walked away from tribal council
Cochran descision was valid bro so when he came back and won I was ecstatic also he and Sophie were the only ones who weren't in coaches' weird cult
My personal favorite karmic justice moment is Russell losing to natalie. Russell was such an asshole during the season and treated natalie like an afterthought. Watching his face at the reunion was glorious 😊
I will say, in defense of Savage... bro had absolutely zero reason to believe pissing off Lil on the way out would cause him any trouble
Awesome Video Topic! :D
Keep this up, this was extraordinarily fun watch, even compared to the regular high quality you spoil us with.
I'm having trouble coming up with extra topics, but focusing on evocative tribal results, or just stories, as in this case of comeuppances.
Ohhh Philip choosing to sit out of the top 10 immunity challenge in Caramoan, and being voted out that tribal.
11:49 Funny enough, the first video of yours I ever watched was weirdest jobs in Survivor.
I would add Chrissy winning the random rock draw family visit over Ben, who had betrayed her in a way that made her and Ryan look stupid. It was pure luck, and pure karma
I'd have voted for Shirin to win over what she did to Will.
She was annoying most of the time, but I gotta credit her for that FTC speech
i feel like tai not giving scot the idol has to be on this list 😂😂
To be a little fair to Lex, while yes his anger towards Rob's blindside was hypocritical, its not as hypocritical as most think
The thing with him sending home his friends compared to his friend sending him home is the contexts behind both. Because even if it stung at the time, both Colby and Ethan had to have known it was inevitable that he wouldn't work with them just for being friends outside the game
In contrast, Rob explicitly promised Lex that they'd work together if Lex kept Amber (an objectively bad move) and backed out of it immediately following the merge, which is why I think he meant in his speech during final trial council
I can easily see an alternate timeline where, instead of making the promise, Rob throws that challenge, votes out Alicia, and the boot order goes exactly the same after (with Jerri in Alicia's spot). In that event, I can see Lex being a little less bitter about the merge vote off and more willing to give Rob the vote
In short, yes Lex was being hypocritical in his anger to Rob for betraying him, but not as much of a hypocrite as people like to say
Love your channel!
"hard to narrow it down to just five" aka "expect a part two coming soon"
Rome being voted out this season has to be one of the most satisfying ones. Not necessarily karma. Just a satisfying vote out.
I was expecting number one to be [redacted] falling in the fire
I felt both good and bad for Cochran. His tribe wasn't that great to him - yet he fell for the "you won't be last with us" trick.
Luckily, he redeemed himself on his second season.
When Zapatera threw that challenge because they didn’t want Russell and they all got picked off one by one in the merge
so glad to see someone who feels the same about the lex vote out in all stars…. like it’s okay when you do it but it happens to you and you’re mad?? nah bro
The Savage vote out is just fucking amazing
I’ve been watching an aggressive amount of My Name Is Earl so this video topic came at a great time.
You should of added to that honorable mention that Jeff pointed out her karma during the first tribal in the very next season
Candice getting sent to exile over and over again after leaving her tribe
She got similar karma in HvV
The most satisfying moment of karma in Survivor history in my opinion is Austin voting out J Maya and Kellie in 45 because they dared to choose the advantage over a sandwich! That's just unnecessarily cruel ! 😡😤😭
Also, Savage's Zumiez-esque jury outfit in Cambodia still haunts me
I thought for sure Drew getting voted out after throwing a challenge to target Kelley for no reason in San Juan del Sur would be on the list.
Never throw challenges unless you know you/your alliance members aren't going home 🙄
It is such a situational move, you can’t just use throw a challenge because you’re fed up with someone(Zapatera and Drew)
The best challenge throws divide the outsiders and strengthen your odds going forward(Boran and New Zealand’s Hermosa tribe)
Everybody says Coach really improved in South Pacific as a player. I say it's more that Ozzy's lying is so bad that even HE can recognize it.
Getting rid of Abi and Stubin doing the dance! the best I danced too!
John did beat Boston Rob so he has that!
Ozzy in South Pacific was my least favorite, specifically how he treated Cochran before and during the merge.
“Dead fish cosplayer” 😂😂😂 I hate Will so much. He’s probably my personally most hated player ever. Well, other than creepy Dan from 39.
I’d group them both with Colton Cumbie and Ben Browning
sean needs to play again man
I disagree with the Cochran analyst, except the fact that Kieth was his ‘number one bully who had it coming.’ I think Cochran was safely under Jim’s wing who thought he could drag him to the final 3 with a goat named Dawn. If he stuck with the original plan (and told them he convinced the tribe to vote for Kieth) he would have made it further in the game and wouldn’t have been forced to draw rocks.
The alliance he switched to was worse than what he was originally working with IMO.
Dawn wasn't a goat this season. She was actually very liked.
Cochran didn't know who the other alliance was voting for. They didn't tell him in case he wasn't going to flip.
I absolutely love Shireen and laughed so hard when she raised her hand. Karma's a bitch!
As super fan unless I have an idol I'm not going to rocks. I mean I would like to see one but I would definitely not want to be part of one.
11:30 will seriously had the audacity to ask for his family letter after tormenting another survivor by telling her she had no family….
Cochran shouldve stuck with savaii. either way, he didnt have a good chance of getting to the end but at least with Savaii, if he did get to the end he could actually win. Upolu jury could be won over. if he got to the end with Upolu he would get flamed at final tribal by the savaii jury and no chance of winning at all. also it wouldnt make sense for Ozzy to play the idol on Cochran becuz theyre actually trying to avoid rocks (just like Cochran). why would they waste the idol on Cochran? they know he isnt the target that Upolu is voting for cuz he is playing double agent. that would be like if Parvati played an idol for Russel at the merge of Heroes v Villains to secure his loyalty even tho she knows he isnt getting votes from the heroes cuz he is playing double agent. very silly logic
idk what it is for me, but hearing men talk about reality tv is my favorite niche 😂❤❤ there’s this one guy who talks about bachelor, and he has a whole wife and a baby that he watches the epis with before recapping ❤❤

Brandon was a complete mess but him standing up for Cochran was an epic moment
I actually really like Savage, but both of his eliminations are so satisfying. He's just such a cocky guy and seeing him bitterly get voted off twice is great.
Where is Silas from Africa???
Worlds Apart still such an appallingly vile cast...Dan & Will just gross...
So, who got the comeuppance in Cochran's case? Going by the way it began I thought it would be Cochran. Now I'm lost.
