  • here we show you how we changed their brake pads on modern cars with electronic parking brakes that need a diagnostic system to put them into service mode and rewind the electronic parking brake.
this can be done without a diagnostic tool. see out video here to change without a diagnostic scan tool.

LOL did you correct the way you fitted the pads?
The inner pad has a fixed spring, the outer pad does not.
On the first side you changed you fitted both pads without springs, whoops!

Thanks for taking the time to do this. At least I know what to expect and don't need to waste time wondering how to do it and find stuff

Much appreciated, really helpful to avoid extra time and thought. Will change today and tomorrow and it's below freezing so don't want to stand outside more than necessary :)

Great information on changing rear pads, but one thingi spotted is you using an impact gun on the locking wheel nut, in my 35 yrs owning my own garage I've never nor do my mechanics ever use an impact gun on locking wheel nuts always a knuckle bar .

The wheel lock should be used only with a hand tools newer with power tool, because you will eventually strip the grooves on the key. Ask me how I know!? :D

WD 40 near brakes? Area not cleaned with brake cleaner, no coppaslip on the pads. Otherwise, good job.
