- I'm working away from home and the Last Watch review table at the moment, so I have decided to post a quick catch up video to explain my absence. I'm currently in Ukraine but rather than talk about the obvious I thought I'd share what watches I brought on my travels and why !

Ukrainian serving in territorial defense is here. Came to this channel to see the review on Casio G-Shock GWM5610-1 to replace my more than 10 years old Casio SWG-100. Was quite surprised to see this video here and pleased to see GWM5610 on the list. The last made me decide finally to get one for myself. Thanks for your channel and your work covering the Russian invasion. Looking forward to seeing more reviews.

If I know it’s going to be rough and tough- I wear my Citizen promaster. It can handle anything, accurate and highly legible, comfortable and cool looking. I also started my collecting journey with this one ☝🏻😊

Great choice. For sure a G-Shock would be on top of my list but Eco-Drive is bullet proof movement since it's solar powered.
Which version of the G would you choose
Have the steeldive and the g shock, my citizen that I use however is a promaster tough on a bracelet which had sapphire do a good go anywhere do anything watch. I was nearly there though ha. Stay safe

Very good choices, I too have a square (but I've put it in a metal case), and I also have the Citizen which is a great watch indeed. I don't have the original Seiko Willard but I have a turtle, and it's a great watch too. Overall very nice trio.

The Citizen BN0150 is a cracking choice, I've had mine for 6 years and zero problems and looks like new, just pop an FKM rubber strap on it, more comfortable than the OEM. Check out the BJ7111-51M Titanium GMT, its yhe BN0150 on steroids, has saphire too. Be safe.

I don't own a Rolex but feel there is no other watch with the same commodity value approaching a gold coin. IMO if I were in a country I may need to exit in a hurry (such as the Ukrainians heading to Poland), access hard money when banks are closed for food, convince a not so honest border guard I'm OK to cross, etc there is no other watch I'd rather be wearing than a Rolex. Also if I were one of the 10's of thousands of Russians stuck in foreign countries with ATM cards not working and 40% less value of my home currency. A Rolex is recognized and will get you home from anywhere on the globe.
As I said I don't own a Rolex and am kinda anti Rolex with all the flipping and BS. But I still think a Rolex is a better insurance policy than any other watch if caught in a bad situation.
If Dollars aren’t available then I guess a Rolex is the next best thing
