For the last couple of weeks I have been installing my own kitchen for the first time and getting to the end. I could not have done this without your brilliant videos. Thank you for pulling together such well detailed instructions 👍
That’s awesome ! Really glad I could help you ! And thanks for taking the time to tell me !
This video is wicked, thanks for the help mate, just abt to make my sink project!
Cheers buddy ! And good luck with yours ! Glad I could help
Cheers
Good video Lewis. Great tip about the Sharpie 👏👏👏
Cheers vic 👍🏻
Thanks for the advice. Great video.
Thanks for the comment buddy ! Glad I could help 🍻
Should of used the clips provided for the sink mate I’ve just fit the same one last week. I usually bed the sink down like you have and leave some weight on it until silicone goes goes off. Belts and braces 👍🏼
Nice one , you made that look very straightforward, many thanks.
Thank you very much 🍻
Excellent as ever.
Cheers Allen ! Much appreciated 🍻
Great video !!! Thank You
Thank you Michael 👍🏻
Thanks bud, well thought out and presented video.
Top man 👍
Cheers Peter for the comment! Appreciate it 🍻👍
Top man!
Cheers Johnathan 🍻
Thank that's great ❤
Really great and helpful video
Cheers buddy really appreciate the comment! 🍻
Thanks a lot!
You're welcome!
From the front edge 50 to 60 millimeters (5-6 cm).
Cut the hole 9 to 10 mm (0.9-1 cm) smaller all around.
Before you install the sink, install the tap, which makes it easier.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Very nice, those colours are a good combo together.
Could stainless sink be mounted the same way like you did here with silicone? The one I have here didn't come with any rubber gaskets but some strange strips of, erm, putty or something like that, dont know what those are for.
Thanks for your comment, yes you can do it this was with a stainless sink, just be sure to weigh it down whilst the silicon is going off. You want to make sure that it is flat all the way around. Hope this helps
@@LTWCarpentry thank you 👍
@@bluewanderer9903 your welcome
Tops 🎉
Cheers Richard 👍🏻
Good video,I have that job to do and was wondering what type of blade you use in the jigsaw is it just standard or a reverse cut blade?
I used a normal blade in mine but it is advisable to use a downward cut as the laminate can chip. 👍🏻
Thank you.
Hi mate you explained it best and clear way possible rest I watched are dumb wits
Thanks mate you are a star
Nice one buddy ! I really appreciate it ! 🍻
How did you cut that small piece? Upside down we it’s a circular saw or with the router an jig ?
Hi buddy, I used a jig saw for this
What blade was you using in the jigsaw was it a down cutting or normal blade
I was using a Bosch up cut blade buddy, nice new one and take your time
Wicked video babe!!! Xxxx
Thank you babes xxxx
Normally use guide saw for cutting out and try do it before fitting worktop
Yes I do normally but not many people have a tracksaw so I wanted to use tools that most people have, thanks for the comment buddy 👍🏻
Nice one mate. Don't you attach your taps first? Isn't it a pain to fix them in after the sink is fitted? 👍
Cheers mate, honestly yes I normally do but I forgot 😂😂😂
@@LTWCarpentry 😂😂👍
Nice job mate, do like a bit of squeeze out 🤣👊
I brought a similar sink in black, it says in manual knock out hole with a punch and hammer, did you do that or did u use a 35mm core bit to make tap hole
I use a 35mm core bit but only because I have one. I have done it many a time with hammer and a punch mate
do you secure the sink just with the silicone
Yes I do.
did you jigsaw straight through the carcasses?
Yes I did I use extra long bits
hi Lewis just found you on youtube brill videos buddy do you have anything in common with where's my pencil do you oh just subscribed
Hi buddy, glad you’ve found the channel ! They’ll be loads more videos to come, if you want a video on anything please do let me know, no I don’t think so buddy, never heard of the channel, I’ll have to check it out, glad you’ve subbed and glad to have you on board 👍🏻
How do you cut out a tap hole when its not marked on the sink? Thanks
I use a 32mm diamond drill bit from the underside
@@LTWCarpentry Thank you
No mechanical fixings?
Not on these sinks mate, they are so heavy they hold them selves, the stainless ones I use them
Surely it’s easier to tool off the silicone while it’s wet
Not in my opinion no, you just tend to swear it
