- Join me for an adventure as I set off in search of the most remote train station in the UK. 12 miles from any public road, this place is right in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Hope you enjoy

Yeh was a great spot, thanks for the support
Another great video, thank you. The camera quality is amazing, so crisp. Viewers probably don't realise all the time and effort it takes to capture all the different shots and then edit it all. Looking forward to more adventures to come.
Thanks mate. Yeh it takes a lot of time haha. But hopefully it inspires others to get outside and have similar experiences. Thanks for the appreciation, makes it all worth it :)
So envious, beautiful place to pitch that tent.look forward to the next one.stay safe
Thanks man. The spot was amazing, couldn’t believe my luck. Glad you enjoyed the video 🤝

Thanks for the kind words. Means the world to hear this. Not always easy to tell if people enjoy the videos. So nice comments like this really help 🙏
First time ive seen someone hike to Corrour, as everyone either goes by train or car. Much better for doing the walk though, as it shows us all the natural beauty and wildlife in the area. Im glad you do so much to show us the real countryside.
Yeh that was the idea. Train may be more convenient but miss out on all the great views. Thanks for the comment 😊
Great walk. Enjoyed the vid.
Did similar two years ago, train from Glasgow to Rannoch then up on the same route as you to camp at Corrour old lodge ruins. Next day was to Meanach bothy and day 3 to Glen Nevis. Finally train from Fort William to Glasgow.
The path you took is called the road to the isles. I got a lot of rain so some dodgy burn crossings from Meanach to Glen Nevis. It is probably one of my favourite areas for a bit of backpacking.
Sounds like a really good route mate, will have to give it a shot at some point. 😊
Yet another great video man!! Loved the scenery throughout the hike and the beautiful shots. Thanks for taking us with you, it's always calming and peaceful to watch your videos
Thanks mate. Makes all the effort worth it. Glad you enjoy the vids
@@ScottishSummiteer Already waiting for the next one ahaha
Haha next one is a bit of a mad one, some pretty mental weather
@@ScottishSummiteer Sounds interesting!! Will be waiting
What an excellent hike to an iconic location. I thoroughly enjoyed your video and a great pitch you selected at Lough Ossian.
May I also congratulate you on the quality of your videos. As a young video maker you make sure each video is perfectly edited. Very well done. Many thanks and best wishes.
Thanks mate, that really means a lot. Put a lot of time into the videos and try my best. Great to hear you enjoy them 😊
Hi, Your video's are getting better and better, you Remind as my younger self, without video's, I feel Ur a rising star on you.tube, I have had a conversation about wealth, In my opinion the beauty of the outdoors far out way been well off! Mark.
Couldn’t agree more mate. Glad you enjoyed the video
@@ScottishSummiteer you make the most of been a young man, when I was your age I climbed all the tricky hills,I did all of Glen Coe plus most of Wester Ross! You keep going kid your videos are amazing. Cheers Mark.
Another good video, well done and thanks for sharing the scenery.
No worries mate, glad you enjoyed
Great stuff 😊. We saw the rainbow too 😁. Thanks so much for sharing your trip. 🫵👍🏼
No worries mate, glad you enjoyed
As my joints get older and more arthritic I've been sticking to moorland rather than the peaks. Rannock Moor has been a favourite and I must admit that the train is an easy option to the start of many of the walks I've done.
Thanks for this trip, I always enjoy accompanying you on your hikes.
Yeh it’s an amazing place. Glad you enjoy vids😊
Another cool - 17:06 minutes of peaceful video 👍11:35 - Nice photography.
Thanks 🙏
fantastic video. Amazing view. thank you for sharing .bit of rain After all it is Scotland.😊
Yeh that’s true, when is it not raining here
Lovely. You picked the right time of year to be alone, too - if you'd gone in summer there would have been people everwhere and Corrour Station would have been like Tesco's. I have fond memories of skinny-dipping in the loch you can't pronounce - probably when I was younger than you are! That stretch of railway has three daytime trains per day, plus the sleeper running in both directions every night except Saturdays. You'll also see the occasional freight train. Alas, it goes nowhere near Kinlochleven! Next station to the north is Tulloch, then Roy Bridge, Spean Bridge and then it approaches Fort William from the north. Some trains reverse back out and then head west for Mallaig, or vice-versa. The sandy path is interesting - I wonder if it was put there, or if it's some kind of raised beach?
Yeh not sure about the path to be honest. The views made up for the tough hiking though
That was a very interesting hike. Great camping spot too. It's a great area. Another good route is from Dalwhinne to Corrour. Take in the Ben Alder munros, & camp at the 'tent village' which is near the closed Culra bothy. Great video!
With have to do that route at some point, sounds great 👍
Thanks
Thanks mate, really means a lot
Just about to do this thanks for the idea
No worries pal, hope it goes well
I'd say this is a landmark presentation for yourself.😀
You say a unique trip, and Aye, it is. Countless Utubers have rolled up or passed through on the train, but you trek in on foot! The temptation to hop on the train back to base hard to resist, but you're made of tougher stuff!
Perfectly sited camp nestled in the trees, for a restful night, but all the glory of passing through Scotland's greatest bog with views and angles few have seen, never mind recorded.
As always, there are moments in the video that need to be watched again to pick up. The eagle or possibly buzzard looking for a meal, the beauty of Scotland's wildlife!!
Did you realise sitting for your lunch stop (good old Tesco)? You were symetrically encompassed by a rainbow😮
Yeh the rainbow was pretty amazing. Thanks for the support
This is another fantastic video 🎉 what a great hike! Can I ask where you started the walk from?
Thanks, glad you enjoyed. Started at a lay-by on the B846 heading towards rannoch station👍
Thank you!!
This hike looks epic really want to do this one. Where did you park and do you ever worry about leaving car in remote places?
Parked in a lay-by on the road leading to rannoch station. Never had any problems leaving the car so far but normally tend to research a bit about the parking before I head out👍
