- A beautiful venture to a pretty untouched part of Snowdonia were me and Mark Pierce photograph a old bothy under the stars! It is quite a spooky place when the sun goes down, but spectacular all the same! Enjoy!

Great vid amazing you got your phone back as you now know the picture in the frame was David Bothy who ever thought of that comic genius 😂
Yeah did,t think David Bowie would scare me that much haha!
lovely video mate, really enjoyed that, im just starting out inthe world of hiking, set myself a goal to climb the highest peak in each of englands 48 counties, been uploading them on to youtbe but need to practise a bit more
Thank you! i will give your videos a watch! That sounds a great challenge! Good luck!
First Bothy alone is always creepy.
It definitely felt that!
Needs a bit of work on the roof before it collapses. It's nice however, that these buildings are out there to assist hikers.
I know this spot, local fishermen use it often, and they have done repairs , so expect fishermen from time to time , at night
Yeah its a lovely area, albeit creepy at night!
Nice result Ellis, lovely location and its been on my radar a little while now. I have seen a decet shot ffrom Grant Hyatt from up on the ridge if you get up that way to explore again. Alyn Wallace is a master at it these days... and hsi book look very good although I have not seen a copy in person like. atb Al
Yeah I want to get on the ridge. It will be great for sunset!! Thanks a lot Alan!

Is that an MBA Bothy Ellis? Do you have a map ref? Have been visiting bothies for 40 yrs+, don,t recognise this one?
Its used more for the fishermen so might not be recognized as a mountain one. It is basically in between llyn bach gamallt and llyn mawr gamallt :)
@@elliswoodphoto Thank,s Ellis, what OS Landranger map is that area pls?
Spooky? It's a bothy, not a chateau.
