Maybe forests are comforting for us because they engage all of our senses, in the best way. They are literally good for our health. That looked like a very fine forest you walked through, and that first glimpse of the bothy looked like a painting. So beautiful. That bothy is quite the romantic spot to spend a cold Winter night. Super cozy. Thanks for sharing another adventure with us.

Love watching your videos, man. I wish we had bothies here in America! I'd be out doing exactly what you're doing if we did. LOL. What I really appreciate about this particular bothy is that it's surrounded by forests, so if you wanted to, you could go find plenty of dead or fallen trees to keep a raging fire going for hours.
As for the tea debate... I can't speak for all Americans by any means, but I only ever have tea when I'm sick. Haha. And I don't think I've ever met anyone who puts milk in their tea, so I can't weigh in on this topic! :)
Keep up the great vids! Much love, man.

milk in tea is common in the UK, I'm an outlier because i can't abide it. In England I have to specify when ordering, no milk, but in Scotland i'm either given it on the side or asked prior, but I've only ever met 3 people who take it black.

Your relaxed demeanour was palpable as you wound your way up through the forest with a rushing burn at your side, in contrast to your last outing through a glen (Shira) that was more in the river than out!!🚣‍♂️😅
Only thing lacking on any video is to be able to sense the soul relaxing aromas of wet pine trees and vegetation 😊
Many would envy you another peaceful night in a well appointed bothy. Raging winds and storms, just shrugged off.😀
The seagulls getting feisty out my flat window say Spring is round the corner.
Can't wait to see your expedition plans unfold.

I never used to like forests, as I always got disorientated - and then I realised it reminded me of being bullied in primary school, with the trees representing all the boys that used to crowd around me. They're much nicer now. I lovethe idea of having the whole bothy to yourself. I had a few of the quieter youth hostels, in my time - one of which would probably be more in the bothy category nowadays, if it still existed (Bryn Poeth Uchaf, in Wales). Incredible experiences. Yes, Iadd milk before removing teabags - so I can see what coulour it is...! Well done for keeping the animation going from last time - nice little video, that!

Yes, would definitely like to see more nature, and those wee waterfalls were great. Really cosy bothy, and no mice?
I drink tea without milk, but local honey makes a big difference, plus stops hay fever in the spring and early summer.
    Really enjoyed this 😊

Aye, GDL is a 5 star bothy. There was a great debate wether to re-instate this bothy after the fire, some felt it was to easy of acess. The path behind the bothy lead,s to a rich fungi plot, to add to your meal. Also there is a water source behind the bothy, saves the boggy tramp to the river.

Phenomenal and fandabby dozy simultaneously.which is nigh on unique.Just to be really avante garde i propose we initiate a paradigmatic shift in bothy pronunciation and call it both ee not bothy that rhymes with coffee, froffy or toffee.Flower of Scotland da da di di dee.....let's send them home tae think again ( about bothy pronunciation,of course ).
