The Moral Letter to Lucilius are a collection of 124 letters which were written by Seneca the Younger at the end of his life, during his retirement, and written after he had worked for the Emperor Nero for fifteen years. (These Moral Letters are the same letters which Tim Ferriss promotes in the Tao of Seneca)

I love how he often makes reference to how even though a certain man spoke some truth it doesn't belong to them but is the property of all men. It reminds me of another quote spoken by I think Thomas Paine which states "man does not make principles, he only discovers them." It is certainly true that truth cannot be owned by anyone.
