Cool video, a good perspective. This is my first bike because I needed something bigger as I am pretty tall! It is so much fun to ride and it doesn't break the bank.
You are right. The CFmoto 450 is getting very popular here in the US. Right now, I would say it is the class leader as far as power, tech and price compared to the Kawasaki N400. I would like to test the 800 if it gets here. They just have to start scaling and building these bikes faster to get them to dealers. Pity there is no traction control. In its class, the Suzuki gsx8s has TC, and the Honda 750 does too, but the Honda is not available here in the US yet. The MT09 is a more powerful and more expensive bike so it is not really considered in the same class as it is 2-3 thousand dollars more. Even then, they are hard to find. Japanese manufacturing must have taken a huge hit because a lot of dealers have very low inventory, so its very hard to get a good deal.
Bro, much love from Australia. Loved the review and you didn’t hold anything back. Despite the set backs on this bike, it’s a serious contender for my next motorcycle. Also you need to make more review videos.
Rode the CF Moto 800 NK with the 5” NFT screen yesterday at a CF Moto ride day in Melbourne, Australia and really liked it. The cruise control is fantastic. My last new road bike was a 1974 Kawasaki 900 so a bit rusty. Found turning the 800 with the front brakes easy, very manoeuvrable. I remember the single cylinder Yamaha 500 trail bikes of yonks ago pulled very well. This 800 is no different, with the cruise control it’s a top contender. With speed limits and policing here cruise control is essential.
Very satisfied after watching your video. It's very informative with a lot of details and proper numbers.keep it up , I'm gonna subscribe. And can you make some night riding video( urban) , I'm curious about the night bike ride in china . ✌🏻
The most thorough review of the bike so far. Though, in any other reviews I've seen, none ever mentioned about the quickshifter bug. If it's common, then it's a dealbreaker ..
I was thinking about this bike thank you for a very honest review not like the others who tries to promote based on good things only I also want to hear negative drawbacks too.
Great review, honest and unbiased. Sub added and deservedly so. Looking forward to more of your reviews Edit, really hoping you can get your hands on a mt450. Would really like to know your thoughts
Great review. This bike might need a bit of refinement, but it sure sounds good. I might go for the cfmoto 450 SRS, but this one is very interesting. The cfmoto are amazing value here in China compared to the foreign competition.
Thanks for the video, just what I needed to see. I have a CLX-700 sport which I love, but it is a bit too wide to lane split and I'm looking to upgrade. This model is a real candidate but like you say no traction control and handling characteristics maybe a concern. I try to test ride one.
@@louvega8414 The CLX doesn't have a quick shifter, but all the same gear changes are very smooth. Rev matching on downshifts are a breeze. In test riding the 800NK advanced with quick shifter, the gear changes are quite mechanical and positive.
champion , thanks for the review, bring all chinese motorbikes to Austtralia for great value, aceptional quality and handling. please review the cfmoto clc 450 & XO papio racer when you get the chance. I do like the cfmoto 450SR or or in some countries 450SS.. cheers
for the money it’s unbelievable it really puts the big brands to shame, I worked for motorrad for many years and there were many glitches with the new range of TFTs and other various warranty issues and recalls, other brands don’t even offer anything interesting in the tech department, keyless ride for example is reserved mostly for expensive bikes
Population density is high, it's hard to manage motorcycles, all sorts of traffic violations, the government wants to promote automobile consumption, and so on.
Because just 10-20 years ago, there were many robbers in China riding motorcycles to rob. Nowadays, major governments are investing heavily in cars because they can provide more employment and higher taxes for people. (You can refer to the Japanese automotive industry)
Well with the Z900 you can make "mom" wheelie from almost a dead start only with acceleration if you are set on doing that......but yeah, if your position is good, it will not wheelie in any way :D... Would have loved the NK800 to be more like the concept bike, then I would have bought it in a heartbeat.....but they removed too many nice features.....
This was a really well done and comprehensive review from a local market user! You speak very good English don't worry about the haters!
I rode the 700CL-X sport at a demo day last weekend & loved it. I was going to buy 1 but now that I know the 800NK is coming I want the 800NK.

When I watch bike reviews? This is exactly what I am looking for. Will be interesting when CF MOTO releases their own 3 cylinder bikes this year.

How are the gear changes on this thing or the CLX? Long term reliability remains the question.

I sure hope this comes to the USA soon!
I've heard possibly 2024 but we'll see.
saludos from México, nice vid 🇲🇽
Ok. Good. I was thinking something was wrong with my 800. I get some popping and small back fires at low speeds on deceleration.
please do a 450NK review if you have a chance to test ride it.

I can’t believe you don’t like the brakes. I think the brakes are great for this price bike.
Why are there a lot of restrictions to own or ride motorcycles in big cities of China? What are the reasons?
Population density is high, it's hard to manage motorcycles, all sorts of traffic violations, the government wants to promote automobile consumption, and so on.

jeez the sound difference between the Z900SE and the 800NK. the latter sound much better.
Impressive sound.
I would swap the tablet screen for traction control, just saying

Nice review and good looking bike, from the POV though the screen seems to be useless in the sun, just looks like a cheap chinese android tablet.
Agreed, quite aggressive yet very nice design, punchy 790 ktm engine but sadly cheap looking tft panel and no tc
2:00 👍
can the gauge cluster be adjusted?
This is rare!!
I have a Ducati Monster 821 and it has the same problems with quickshifter 🤷🏻♂️
Quick shifter was never polished in those early models. I’d rather a 10 year old Duc than a flash in your pants Chinese bike with pretty lights

I wonder what this bike does:
0-100kph in secs
0-150kphs in secs
0-200kphs in secs
And Top speed...
I dont like the way the 2024 MT-09 gas tank fits in my croch.
Why don't motorcycle manufactures just make a phone app so people can just use their phones as the dash board.
Isn't it illigal to have motorbikes in the big city's of China.
but there are hundreds of cities in China.
@@schandler4530 My friend you are correct but as a foreigner will we ever visit them ?
It's legal to have motorbikes in big cities of China while under severe restrictions
@@arkaprava2561What's the meaning? Do you want to go to these cities? anytime.
yes but we need to break some rules 🤩🤩🤓
