I just learned about CF Moto and their use of a 270 degree crank which gives you better torque delivery and power over the Ninja 180 degree crank. I just picked up the Kawasaki Eliminator 451 and I love the bike. But what caught my eye is the CF Moto CL-C 450. It’s not in the US yet. But with a gates belt, inverted suspension, and 270 degree crank I believe is going to be a really fun bike for the money! You have incredible skills driving through that horrible traffic! I couldn’t imagine! Great review 👍🏻
Appreciate it, your comment means a lot) Cfmoto is the most common Chinese motorcycle brand abroad, and these bikes are getting really good) The reason behind this fast progress is the competition within China, the only way to survive is to improve. Other brands such as: QJMotor, Kove, Voge, Benda and many more release new bikes every month, with a very competitive price and specs,so customers win! Unfortunately other Brands aren’t available in most places, but at least we have Cfmoto)
BTW CLC 450 is a nice bike, maneuverable and fun to ride, if you want, you can check my review on it) thanks for watching 🤜🤛
the comparison that everyone needed =)
also do Ninja400 vs 450SR
or you can add Duke390 and Dominar400UGv2 on the Z400 vs 450NK =D
Thanks a lot) hope it was useful! I think that Ninja 400 vs 450 SR is a great comparison, but I’ve seen some videos about it already, still would be nice to try) could try SRS450 vs Ninja 400 though)
I wanna ride 2021 Duke 390 soon, and will measure acceleration, then will compare it to those two🫡 but I don’t think I can get Dominar 400 here, but might get a hold of mt 03😏
I am 1.75, somewhere in between the two heights you mentioned, but I used to ride a klr650, so I think 450nk will suit me better. Great video!
Awesome review! Cheers from Canada.
Appreciate it! Shout out to Canada! Thanks for watching 🤜🤛
Thanks for your great feedback on both bikes! Well done ⭐️
Any time! I appreciate you watching!!!
sick bikes sick comparison sick video, love you bro
That’s the sickest comment I’ve ever read on this channel 🔥🔥🔥greatly appreciate it!!!🤝🤜🤛
Awesom review as always! I've been looking at the z400 for a long time now sadly, it doesnt have many objective reviews in my country.. Plus it has been discontinued in favor of the Eliminator 450 (they arent even in the same category but, what do I know right?) Also, may I suggest doing clutchless shifting for acceleration tests? You can do it without slipper clutch tbh. Smoother acceleration as well!
Thanks you for your words) z400 is a great bike, probably the best bike for a person who started riding for the first time, I think it can definitely teach you more then Eliminator 450 could, I wish they would keep it in your country!
Clutchless shifting is a great idea, hope I’ll be able to do it properly, appreciate your advice 🤝🤜🤛
I heard Kawasaki will be releasing z500 (451cc). That might be the reason they discontinued the 400
Amazing review mate, and your English is impressive as well. I really miss the roads of China after coming to UK from China. May be someday I will get back and will make some reviews together...
Appreciate it. I’ve never been to UK buy to my knowledge the traffic there is much better, and more predictable) but China indeed has some beautiful places for motorcycle lovers!
Would be great to have you back, and definitely helpful to have another hand with reviews! Hit me up when you’re here 🤜🤛
Thanks i needed this review!
Hope it was informative 🤜🤛 appreciate it
You are the only solid english review about this bike. You deserve to be known more.
I'm between new duke 390 and this bike but most probably i'll have this one. Do you have any estimation when it will be realised in Europe? First quarter of 2024 or can it be around december?
Appreciate it, thank you) I don’t know when it will be available in Europe, but I think it should be available soon coz CFMOTO released few videos about NK450 in English, don’t think they did it for nothing, if I get more information about the date, I’ll let you know 🤜🤛
Your explanation is top notch. Subscribed ✌️
Greatly appreciated man!🤜🤛 New videos are coming ✊
@@eddywave3315 may i know how it feel when you have a pillion with you on both these two bikes. I mean what do you recommend ?
@@adithyaherath2000 my girlfriend as a passenger said she likes z400 much more (it’s softer, way more comfortable and material feels better), nk450s seat is the biggest problem of the bike in my opinion
@@adithyaherath2000 but NK 450 isn’t suffering from acceleration regard ones you ride with a passenger, it feels fast regardless) z400 feels waaay slower with a second person on it, I would say I felt as if I’m riding 200cc bike, and it’s a really bad thing for a city, you have to have this rapid acceleration to feel confident, and z400 with a passenger can’t provide it, nk450 can!
Nk450. Is the legendary against z400
I have bought the 450NK and I made test ride for Duke 390 and Z400 also, duke has also a lot of vibrations and rear brake was so bad compared to 450NK. Also a lot of things on 450NK on top of the z400 that made me buy the 450nk. Good review! Check my last pure sound video on the 450NK recorded with a mic in my backpack , cheers!
I will check man! Thanks for sharing, I think all these bikes are great, but it looks like NK gives you a bit more for the money compared to the other two)
@@eddywave3315 exactly! That's all about, value for money. I now own the 450NK, it is my second motorcycle from CFMOTO, so reliability is not an issue 👌
@@MotoTrauma what was your first bike?
@@eddywave3315 300NK I had it from 2021 to now, I sold it 1 month ago it was as new and I got the 450NK
@freebraintrauma well this is good to hear, I have the same bike (in China it’s nk250) from 2018, and it has 21000 on it, and the computer got broken, and it has some problems, so I wouldn’t say I am too happy about it, but perhaps I got unlucky. If you want you can check the video out about it)
Recien cambie mi z400 por esta 450nk y comparto totalmente tus comentarios. Excelente video. 👌
Thank you, will be interesting to know what you think about NK450🤜🤛
Cuales son las diferencias solo en el tema de potencia, suspensión y frenado? Podrías compartir cual es mejor
Thanks for the great review Diz! What can you say about CFmoto after sales service and parts? Any new feedback about this 450NK realibility? 😊
Thank you!
This wasn’t my bike, but what I see around is really good, the quality is solid! Some nk450 already have up to 10000 km with no issues to my knowledge. I know that the parts are cheap, but unfortunately don’t have any info on after sales service
I have a 300Nk now. Rode it all summer. Was a good handling bike, smooth throttle response. So I have to go with the cfmoto 450Nk😊
NK450 is a very unique bike for this style and displacement I think it’s like Duke 390 but faster and not at the same time more approachable for beginners, oh and with better brakes) you will not be disappointed ✊
both bikes are awesome .. both bike r my prospect
I agree, now when nk450 is available in the USA, people can try it out and I’m very interested in the reaction
do a comparison between nk450 and the latest generation duke 390 which recently came out!
I wish I could, newest Duke 390 isn’t available in China yet, but I still wanna compare 2021 Duke with NK 450
Great job. Where did you get the crash guard for the 450NK? Any links?
Unfortunately I can’t say, this wasn’t my bike, I rode it for few weeks, and gave it back, as far as I know you can order them straight from the dealership, or at least I’ve been told so
Aliexpress
good review... I like it.
Thank you🤜🤛
Good job well said ..
Greatly appreciate it!🤜🤛
Nice review, just bought this NK450, first time riding clutch driven motorcylce, its kinda worrying because everytime downshift to 1st gear then blip the throttle( have this behavior of blipping the throttle multiple times while the clutch is engange) my engine sometime dies. Is tihs normal? As per the manufacture its an ECU thing getting confuse. Pls help. thank you
Thank you!
I like to do what you have said as well, especially before wheelies, but my engine never stalls, maybe it’s due to the lack of experience, clutch engagement and throttle control, coz my gf is stalling a bike all the time, she just lets the clutch too fast without adding gas in time( many beginners have this issue)
My friend, you can make a review of one 700clx sport, its my bike, i would love a review of that bike
I love the way it looks, actually I wanted to buy it, ergonomics is to sporty for me though, actually I wanted to review 700clx heritage) coz it’s easier to get a hold of) if I find it around, I’ll do it) can you tell me what you think about it btw?
Did you try slightly raising the rear suspension to check the stability in 450nk?
I didn’t do anything) I want to make it clear, NK 450 is stable! But compared to z400 less stable, (I think because it’s taller) but only on the high speed, and perhaps coz it’s faster in general)
Liked the video... but am I the only one who thinks the z 400 needs a clutch big time and it's brutally apparent with ever high speed second gear shift. His hands off the clutch 100% yet it rolls on as if he is riding it... I would take the nk allllll day. But the z 400 would have done better witha new clutch.
You are right, I didn’t do z400 justice, but the official acceleration of nk450 is 4.3 sec as well, so my humble set of skills was extrapolated to the both of them)
nice balanced comparison. not trashing 1 bike and only praising the other bike. i like the sound more on the 450.
a responsive (but not jerky) throttle is nice for city riding, so you can take off easily at traffic lights.
it's disappointing to hear that the seat is uncomfortable. i watched another review and that owner said the passenger seat is hard and someone can't sit there for long, but he didn't mention his own seat being uncomfortable. now i'm hearing from you that even the rider's seat is not very good too? 😐
hopefully other seat options will be available outside of China, right away at the dealer. comfortable seat is important.
i also hope the black color option will be available in Europe. i think it looks best.
both excellent bikes but i want the 450nk.
I think two bikes are awesome, for a total beginner z400 is more approachable, and my girlfriend couldn’t be happier with z400, it stil has plenty of power for a city, lower seat makes it perfect for shorter riders, and overall it’s hard to find a weak spot on it)
NK is more powerful, faster, more fun, but it’s for more experienced riders, and the seat is a problem for me. I wanna buy one for myself (but not from the dealership, coz I want to learn some stunts now, and to buy a brand new bike makes no sense), and there is not a single one on second hand market now, which shows that people are really satisfied with these. I hope to see NK450 being available in as many countries as possible, honestly I think it’s the best bike from CFMOTO by now. And yeah my favorite color is the one I had in this video (gray/black)
@@eddywave3315 yeah Z400 has earned its reputation. cfmoto doesn't appear to give much info when its bikes are coming to different markets. i asked my local cfmoto dealer if he knows when he will have the 450NK, he said he doesn't know lol.
almost every video i've seen of the 450NK has been the blue and the white versions.
i'm a little worried the black one will only be available in China. the white one looks good too but black fits this bike best.
@@donderstorm1845 el color negro se vende también es más partes del mundo, pero son pocas las unidades, en México an llegado como 60 negras de 500 de otros colores así que son muy escasas y se venden muy rápido
Snappier might be a better word than snatchy. But I understand you.
Thank you, next time I’ll use this term) but one thing for sure, nk450 is a more fun bike to ride, and it’s twice the price in China. In fact z400 costs as much as nk800 here
Where where the 450NKs crash bars supplied from?
Hi, unfortunately I don’t know, it wasn’t my bike, but you can order crash bars straight in the dealership in China, the price is around 100$
Thank you my friend....just one thing..i just looked at the official site of cf moto and the mentioned 165kg is the dry weight you have 14l gas +oil+radiator liquid so i think total weight more or less 185kg.
What do you think?
Thank you
Well, I didn’t check it on the scales but, I’ve been told it’s 165 kg wet, not dry, one thing I will say is that it feels super light, especially the front end of the bike, I will double check though) but sometimes it’s really to get confused here)
@@eddywave3315 yes you are right KTM uses always dry weight as well.
Cf moto and KTM work toghether😅👍
@@Rotasa2 but still, I think this time 165 is wet😂 But man if I get it checked I’ll let you know✊I got really excited now)
@@eddywave3315 God bless you👍😅

if i can ask, is the TFT display strongly attached to the bike or only with some screws? i ask because these displays probably look attractive to thieves..
if they can take it off with simple screwdriver, then i expect it to be stolen at some point.
Unfortunately I didn’t check it, one thing I can say - it’s sitting there firmly, but if this bike would be around thieves in a quite place, consider it stolen. In China theft isn’t common nowadays, due to surveillance cameras all over the place, so most manufacturers don’t even think about it, hope they will do something about it, taking that they sell these bikes around the globe now.
Next time I’ll come across nk450 I’ll check the attachment✊
@@eddywave3315 yeah unfortunately in most countries, thieves are everywhere.
i will have a strong lock and a sensor alarm on my bike to prevent theft of the bike itself, but i can't do much if they can simply use a screwdriver to take the TFT off :(
they should make it hard to steal.
thanks for checking it out next time.
@donderstorm1845 get some security screws.
@@Synfulz thanks, i'll check this out
I m 5'5 and i m thinking about nk450,do y think it suits me?
Yes, it’s much lower then Duke 390, you will not flat foot it, but still will be able to touch the ground,if you have never ridden a bike in your life (like my girlfriend) you will not feel as comfortable as on Z400 though)
Is the CF Moto 450 a better bike than the Duke 390. Is it more powerful. Is there much difference. Hi from Brisbane Australia 🦘
It’s less jerky, it’s faster, it feels a bit bigger, yet just as light, reliability is fine, I think 450NK is my pick, but KTM has Supermoto mode which I miss on NK, oh and it has a softer suspension! But I’m talking about 2018-2023 Duke, I haven’t ridden the newest one
Hi to Brisbane Australia 👋 🐍🦘
@@eddywave3315 thanks for the great information. I have the 2021 model so you covered all I need to know 👍🦘
@@C.A.MARSUPIAL-ys6tl glad it was useful 🤝
What about the nk300!?
In China nk300 is called nk250, the review is on my channel! Hope you enjoy
Who's faster nk450 or z400?
Definitely NK450 feels much faster, in acceleration test it was 0.7 sec faster to reach 100 km, and my body weight is over 90 kg( with gear on) so lighter riders will be faster then that, and one important thing to say, NK450 feels much faster with the passenger, Z400s power feels compromised ones two people ride
@@eddywave3315 ahay
why so low sound
My bad) I always mess it up) I’ll try to fix it in other videos)
The cf is a better looking bike
I like it more as well!
Fun fact, in China people deem these two bikes ugly AF, don’t know why😒
450sr was killer but 450nk tune down a lot in performance, so z400 my choice, u can see 450nk lose power after 100mph.
0-100 Acceleration wise nk actually is even faster than sr, coz it’s a tiny bit lighter, If I would get a “small displacement” bike now, I would have chosen NK over Z400, its more fun to ride)
@@eddywave3315 yeah they give good acceleration but cut after 100 mph. Small cc bike are fun
All Russians insult Chinese motorcycles and praise Japanese ones. Meanwhile, Europeans are praising Chinese motorcycles in the comments. I think it's the price for a new motorcycle, not a run-in one.
You buy a 20 year old Japanese bike and it feels relatively new, and reliable, the older Chinese bikes are mostly trash) so if you are getting a 3000$ bike, you get a nice Kawasaki/Yamaha from year 2000, with crazy specs, or you get a small displacement Chinese bike from the showroom, for me it’s better to get an old R1 then new CFmoto 125) and in Europe many old bike aren’t good enough with newer emissions standards.
But in terms of the new bikes I would say that Chinese are getting really close to Japanese, one can argue that they offer even more features for less money, which is admirable and very beneficial for the motorcycle industry in general
because cf moto is already has a name in Europe when it comes to the ATV market i believe they are number 1 there.
70% of cf 450 is ktm including the engine
Yeah it’s very similar, but in China the price is very different) so I think it’s a good thing😏 I want to see new 3 cylinder and 4 cylinder engines, these ain’t no ktm for sure
Deven aserles correr para ver cuál es mejor la china o la china
