i am 71...so glad to see you Bob...you've written so many classics...a living legend...i know that the present generation who are so popular ( won't mention any names) but when they are 83 they certainly will not be asked to tour around...but you just keep on playing , singing and demonstrating what music is and should be...thank you for making my life just a little brighter....thank you Mark as well....but sorry for me it is Bob, got ridiculed to start his 2nd part of his gig with an electric guitar decades ago...he always did what he wanted thank you!!
I was there, three people from the stage between Bob and Mark. It was my birthday, and I lived 15 minutes walk away in Hammersmith. I joked on ER that Bob would play Forever Young for my birthday, knowing that was ludicrous as he hadn't played it in a long time. Probably the best night of my life.
We saw Dylan and Mark locally. 2nd row dead center. Dylan and his young band killed it. Bob was cranking. Mark and band did an hour of Celtic folks songs.
Wow! Was this recently? Where? I know Bob just ended a tour - or should I say recently ‘paused’ his Never Ending Tour.😂😂

Cant sing worth a shit? I have lost count of how many different voices he has from rough to totally mellow! It is dead voiced monotone Johny Cash who cant sing for shit .. but some people love deadpan … so that’s fine!

I never managed to see him in the old days but have seen him twice in later years and I did so to witness a genius not to hear his voice.

And this version is such a beautiful hommage to this grand human being, this amazing artis! absolutely delightful and emotional. I sang this song with my brother on my 60th birthday 12 years ago and have fond memories ot that day, as my brother was one other hero of my life (he died 7 years ago) 💗🙏
