- Join me as I return to Holiday Park in Germany for my second ever visit. I share on ride POV's from all of the major rides at the park including the absolutely awesome expedition GeForce. There's also on ride footage from Sky Scream, another major roller coaster located at the park. I also check out the new Holiday Indoor area, watch the lake stunt show and much more!

This park seems so underrated. Definitely on my bucket list after re-watching this vlog!
It's funny to think some of the best roller coasters are at the smaller parks. Expedition GeForce here, Megafobia at Oakwood, Time Traveller and Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City, Voyage at Holiday World, BoulderDash at Lake Compounce, Wildfire at Kolmården and many more.
A Heidi: the Ride clone would be a nice addition to the park. :)
I loved this park when I visited recently, Ge-Force is amazing, also Holiday Indoors is awesome

A gravity group wooden family coaster would be an amazing fit for that park in my opinion. I'll have my first visit this monday so i'm curious!

EGF is still my favourite European coaster.
On the 3rd of July I’m going all around France with the school and I’m mostly excited for Disneyland and astrix park!
these videos just dont feel the same without those onride povs on all rides! great stuff in arranging to be allowed to do it so far

I'd love to see one of the smaller, family owned UK parks get a Sky Rocket II in the near future.
8:30 min: On the sign is standing,that "The Superwirbel" was the first Corkscrew Rollercoster in Germany opened 1979. Some people was feared by it some not. It wasn't the highest or fasted Rollercoster, but it was a mark of Rollercoaster history. This piece, of the coaster, is standing as reminder in honor of it. :-)

I guess this is what would be considered my home park now, as I am in Mannheim, not to far from Holiday Park. I have been there a couple of times, but because of my "disability" I couldn't ride any of the rides.... it's an okay park though.... but I was never overly impressed. Maybe the rides make it better.

I'm also from around this area (1h from MA) but always felt that Europa Park is worth the longer drive, as Holiday Park didn't have that much to offer. Although I do think they have improved.

NIM: It was funny because in my English class we had to design a theme park based on 'The Tempest' By Shakespeare, it was really fun, my favourite ride I created was the sailors drunken drop tower.

They need to do something about that problem, didn’t realise Gforce was the only decent attraction there.
Holiday Park looks gorgeous especially when it’s in the forest in the middle of nowhere basically, it’s wonderful!
I’ve never been but it is gorgeous!
The first Dino Splash was actually a waterslide in Plopsa Coo, this is the only version that was not rethemed but rather build completly new!
You should really visit Coo sometime, it is probably the weirdest Plopsa park due to the fact that it is located in a protected nature area, making it hard for Plopsa to build stuff, but it is a really beutifull area though

I went to Holiday Park 7-10 times every year until around 2015 since it's free for the people who live in the town it's in. It's good to see that Plopsa invested a lot of money for new rides but also sad that they've got rid of a few. In 2013 the Superwirbel and in 2014 they shut down "Spinning Barrels" after a young girl died there. Two of my favourite rides. Also the log flume was way better before they put that Wickie theme there.

I stopped in last week on the way to Phantasialand from Europa park and got 2 rides on expedition GeForce (had to be somewhere in the afternoon so I was in and out quick). Amazing ride, not quite as batshit crazy as Skyrush but a million times more comfortable. Sky scream was down and I didn’t realise there was an indoor credit rip.
Thunder river? I wish Thorpe parks was still called that 😂
I've recently become super interested in roller coasters (esp technical details) - don't know why!
Went to this park shortly before I moved from Germany to the UK (it's not too far from my home town). First time I rode Expedition GeForce - nice little ride. The weather was as good that day as here. :)
Due to COVID-19, I haven't been home in over 1.5 years. Being a bit homesick, this made me feel a little closer to home. Thanks. :)

Another thing this park needs is 2 or 3 more coasters. I wonder how well a B&M Flying Coaster would work in the beach area...

Holidaypark is the Park where I made my first coaster experience on the "Superwirbel", the yellow coaster. Now I ride GeForce with my daughter ;)

Didn't know this was also part of the Plopsa group. Studio 100 has really come far since my youth.
As a Belgian citizen, I grew up with "Samson" and that was about it for Studio 100. Look at it now.
Peter Van Dam It became part of Plopsa in 2010. Before that the park was owned by a family named Schneider.
Unfortunately Plopsa only allows the park to take the second train on GeForce just a few times a year. Probably because of erosion, which leads to costs. And they already need the second train for the busy Halloween Event. Enjoyed your vlog!

Alton Towers needs a good family ride. A clone of the fairy ride inside Holiday Indoors would work well in Cloud Cuckoo Land.
The sign, where the Vekoma Coaster used to stand, says:

I'll be honest. I like Sky Scream just as much as EGF. The first time I visited the park Geforce was closed so I appreciated Sky Scream much more. The second time I went Geforce was open and it was running two trains all day.

Beautiful park great indoor area
Problem with the Plopsa parks... they make a mold for a character statue and then use it over and over and over again in all their parks. Those vikings on Wicky Splash are also in Plopsaland De Panne, Plopsaqua, Plopsa Indoor... exactly the same.
The strange darkride is actually called "Burg Falkenstein" - Castle Falconstone.
I've said it before but once again proof that it's worth going to Europe for great theme parks with excellent theaming ☺
There's Tempesto at Busch Gardens Williamsburg you'll be doing as well as part of your USA trip! 🙂

ooo look at the pretty little fountains at the start, that gave me a major throwback to when I used to run through the fountains at Blackpool Pleasure Beach when my parents said not to.
Edit: 53:06 I only know of a few parks...so I have no idea. I'm guessing ''Giant Log Flume Park'' I made that up...

They do really need an extra train on that ride waited an hour and abit when I went
2 trains are enough in my opinion. I had very good operators so we waited max 15 minutes even though it was pretty busy.

Absoloutly worth of a detour if your aiming for Europapark.
I think that Expedition G-Force is the best rollercoaster in Germany.
I took a ride on Silver Star, Collosus, Bluefire, various Rides at Phantasialand;
Movie Park and other parks BUT ^^ Expedition G-Force has the Best 1st.-Drop
in Germany. You feel like you are dropped off in the woods.
I wouldn´t suggest more than one day but the day is worth it.
The safety-messures caused by the park are exemplary.
Lines are marked obviously to protect savty space.
On most rides you have to wear a nouse-mouth-mask.
Staff is trained and I even had to notice that a person
was prohibited to enter the park and was excluded for the rest of the day.
Hard, but provoked so it was absoloutly OK 4 me.
Thrillseakers might go on after 4 Hours but Families will have a good day:
Last note: Try the Airplaineride its gourgious.
