- Join me as I visit Fraispertuis City in France for the first time! I check out all that this fantastic theme park has to offer including a variety of on ride footage from all of the major rides at the park. Fraispertuis City opened in 1966 and is home to 3 different roller coasters, this includes the steepest coaster in Europe! Along with checking out the coasters, I share various different POV's from the drop tower, water rides and many more awesome attractions at this wild west themed park!

What a gem of a park 👍🏻
Sure is!
I know I am pretty off topic but do anybody know of a good place to stream newly released series online?
@Finley Eugene Ehh try Flixportal. just search on google after it=) -brendan
@Brendan Reuben thank you, I went there and it seems to work =) I appreciate it !!
@Finley Eugene glad I could help xD
Always like it when u give love to the smaller parks. So much to discover in Europe ,USA and the rest of the world.
Golden Driller.Sounds like a certain genre of film actor lol.
What a charming little park.
It sure is!
I am soooo loving your tour trip. This has to be one of the cutest little places so far. Love when you just take off from your plan to discover the smaller yet just as fun parks. Can't wait for the next one, keep the vlogs Coming and travel safely.
Thank you, this park was great!
I know I mentioned it before in a different video, but if you like the charm of this little park, on Your America Road Trip, consider making a stop to Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire, only a 60 to 70 minute drive from Six Flags New England. They have done really old, one of a kind flats too. Look into it if you have time, we wouldn’t recommend you a park if we didn’t think you like it :)
It’s classic americana, and the lake it’s in is beautiful
It was the last helix on Grand Canyon that was added extra. (The part after the mid brake run) because of the extension an other coaster had to make way and was relocate to another little french park, Parc Ange Michel where you can still find it today.
This park is so picturesque!! Thats a quite unique park in the world!
You squeezed in a park between parks. Your obsessive mania is our pleasure. At some point men in white coats are going to drag you away, but until that day, keep the vlogs coming. Loving the on-ride awesomeness! Miss you Charlotte!
It's always great to film on ride!
This Wild West themed park makes me miss the American Adventure
Hi shawn what an absolute gem of a park. So pretty the themeing is just lovely beautiful scenery. Really pleased you found it . Great vlog thanks for sharing with us xxxx
This looks like quite a cute park with a good variety of rides! Hope the us trips going well Shawn, keeping updated on Instagram!
It sure is great
Can you imagine what a family woody from RMC would be like for parks like this? GOLD MINE. All the nostalgia with half the maintenance.
So glad you actually went !! Seriously how well themed is it ! Fab vlog!
Amazing park!
For such a small park, it looks very clean with smooth rides.
what a weird name of a park (unless you do french of course) :P
That's a lot of theming for such a smal park. Awesome.
Love your videos so much they always make me happy first
Thanks for your support!
Thanks for showing this Park. Its now on my Visiting-In-Future-List.
This park reminds me of Bobbejaanland, but a lot smaller. It was very enjoyable. :)
A b&m inverted coaster would fit really well with this park themed to an oil factory and with a nice bronze colour with tunnels and heavy theming, this vlog really has made me want to visit, looks amazing
It would indeed!
Nice video!
I visited this park too in 2019! I liked it a lot, especially the Golden Driller and the Timber Drop!
(It’s also fun to say that I did ride the steepest rollercoaster in Europe..)
I visited this park today after remembering this video from 5 years ago Loved it! They've added quite a lot since then, a new ride in the Mexican themed area and one of those bouncy spinning rides with the motorbikes on. I think it's time for an updated vlog!
That’s good to hear!
Good little park is that
24 degrees is nice weather in central California, this week we reached 40.
And yes, I had to look up the conversion from Fahrenheit to Celsius
So true.
Nice park!
My favourite park I have seen you at! Great location, lovely family vibes and a decent rice selection!
It’s a great park!
Best UA-cam channel for sure ! You’re awesome 🙌👍 big likes
Thank you!
Best channel on youtube. You really gave me a kick up the butt and convinced me to start seeing the rest of the world.
I’ve found new places to go thanks to Shawn
Thank you for your support!
same here. I booked a trip to Port aventura after hearing Shawn's rave about Shambhala. I cannot wait.
Get yourselves to Europa and Phantasialand Garry. Brilliant parks. Phanta is very easy to get to.
I have plans for Europa and Phantasialand for 2021
This park is stunning so much detail to absolutely everything love it !!
That coaster behind you in the intro looks crazy xD
would love to see you go here again, what a fantastic park, great variety of rides, awesome theming and be good to see if there is anything new
Fab park!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide indeed do you think you will go back here
This is the quality that small parks in the UK should live up to! Oakwood, Lightwater Valley... up your game!
25:53 It has everything in english too lol
A true hidden gem, for such a small park, they have really made the most out it, certainly be happy to pay the admission price
It sure is!
Great vlog
Love to see in it the forest 🎢
That tree coaster looks awesome!😀
Another amazing vlog!
Looks a lovely little park with some great rides. Wild West themes are one of my favourites too.
Beautiful looking park. Looks like they potentially have land around to expand but the smallness of it is very appealing to me for a relaxing day out.
One of the best French theme park for me!
Loving your Carpe Deim theme park trip! You are taking us on such a fun adventure! I really adore this family theme park; the family must be well pleased and proud of what they have created :) What a treasure you found in those picturesque hills of France: thanks for taking us there
Thanks!
I have ridden a standup drop tower at SFOG in the US called Acrophobia.
Awesome footage at this park. Amazing europe roadtrip. Decent rides at this park to plus surrounded by a forrest makes it more special.
It does indeed
In the early Seventies, I was on holiday with my parents in France. The region didnt have much to offer for us kids but my parents promised us they would take us to a "amusement park". We had visions of an Efteling-like place but when we got there it was just a forest with some benches, a lake with some pedalo's and a rusty zipline that was out of order. And then it started to rain.
Ah man this is the cutest family park!! The location is beautiful even if it's away from town!
It’s such a great park!
Very nice park
Lovely park! Thanks for the vlog😁
Souquet is pronounced "Soo-kay" if I'm not terribly mistaken.
You can tell that this has a massive future! Fire effects, bigger rides. Now we just need a land expansion!
No. Overextension won't be good. No need to expend beyond the number of visitors you can have, it has a cost. It's in a low populated area, there is some tourism because Vosges mountains are not far so it attracts some visitors in addition to locals (if it was not the case this park would probably not exist), but people won't drive 3 hours only to go in this park (especially when you have Disneyland and Asterix 4 hours west, and Europapark 2 hours east...). The owners of the park know that and prefer theming and quality over size and quantity. The only visitors they can have are locals, and tourists in summer that go in the area for different reasons, but visitors from other regions and Germany won't go there only for the park, so the only way is to remain small, or to turn into a really massive thing like Disneyland or Europapark (which is not realistic). The middle ground would end up in a failure like Wallygator park.
I like their Tulsa Golden Driller statue in front of the drop tower. ~ That's probably the only place you'll see that outside of Tulsa.
The cactus ride is made by the same company that does Lost River Ride at Flamingo Land, and that's BEAR. The Product is a Shoot, Tilt & Drop Tower there are three in the world.
And two of them are in Tripsdrill.
So random!
I come here for the pronunciation of the foreign names by Shawn, really.
I kid. Just a little.
I was waiting for the pronunciation car crash - and wasn’t disappointed. LOL.
I am awful!
No Shawn, you at least try. Have you heard French or Italian people pronounce 'Thorpe Park' or 'Drayton Manor'? It's just as hilarious :)
What a beautiful park
I live in Belgium but I've never even heard of this place
Where you been hiding then?
Looks excellent, I am planning to take my family to this area next year so looking at all your local park vlogs.
I can’t wait to see you American vids, are you going to Alton towers soon, they are my favourite vlogs from Alton towers because I go all the time, it my local park, I’d love to work there... but I’m only 11 😂
There's so much to come!
Another great Vlog from your Europe Road Trip
So fyi that guy is Iron Joe they use to have a version of him on kennywood railway before retheming it. It stands outside us steel in braddock now. That steel mill you can see from kennywood
It’s kinda reminds me in the theme of another France park named ok corral, and yes,I’m recommending this place since it’s a cool little park in france
You found a gem of a park! I'm sad that you're by yourself doing your trip. I'm disabled now, and live vicariously through UA-cam theme park videos lol. Stay safe and keep up the good work!
I had a great solo trip!
The miniature train looks like a smaller version of the Severn Lamb steam trains like the ones at Port Aventura or Disneyland Paris.
Fraispertuis City is a really nice small theme park! I had a great time when I went there in 2017, but I sadly missed the drop tower. :(
180000 subscribers 👍
Thanks for your support!
Loving the all the vlogs Shawn. What a lovely small, themed park this is.
Great video but we need more Blackpool pleasure beach videos and updates lol they ones are my fav 🗼
More to come this summer!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide yass lol
Mumbo jumbo at flamingo land!!😮
Love this channel
I like Random!
Hello. I am the dad of the British family who recognised you and said hello at Fraispertuis ;-)
What a lovely looking park shawn, looks like your in the USA as it's got great western theming.
On the way to 200,000 subscribers!
I can't believe it!
View 650. Looking well Shawn
Yo man. I've met you when I was at Alton towers with my sister Samantha a while ago. Love your videos!
First coaster is mumbo jumbo from flamingo land
8:20 are those a shorter version of Treetops' trains? Also, an El Loco would do well in Oakwood IMO. I'd prefer a GG family thrill like Wood Express and Oscar's Wacky Taxi but that is another option.
They are indeed
Would you class a zamperla disko as a coaster? What do you need to do? Plug your phone into a socket! 🔌
I'm French and I'm not 100% sure how to pronounce that name. Haha
Nice review!
That first ride is the same layout as Green Lantern at MovieWorld in Australia, also seen this at another park in the United States
Jesse Davis at Indiana Beach and Adventure Dome in Las Vegas.
I wish small parks in the uk could be as good!
The giant statue is a scale model of the figure at the entrance of the Oklahoma State Fair.
Just to clarify.. the driller is in front of the expo center in Tulsa Oklahoma.
If you love this theming you should check out Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri USA. Missouri has two other theme parks as well. World's of Fun in Kansas City and 6 Flags in St. Louis. Love your Videos hope to see you in the US more!!!
We have done them all this week!
Hey do you remember us we were the people talking to you guys in the line for the Pandamoniam ride, in St. Louis😁
There used to be a darkride there in western style, it was fun to ride it, but you didn't seem to find it. I wonder if they removed it, but I remember it took a long time before I found the entrance. That would be a shame. The cactus ride can also be found in Tripsdrill and Skyline park in Germany. Very funny rides. Don't know what campany made it.
The dark ride was removed because for Golden Driller they had to destruct the old mountain. Now the mountain is new and apparently there's a lot of support inside so the park is actually breaking their mind to try to find something to fit inside of it. Surprisingly they already put the new entrance for it. It's on the opposite of the mountain in front of the burger restaurant.
That first ride reminds me of mumbo jumbo
If you love drop towers, I'm interested in your reaction to Stratosfear at Knoebles... it's not very tall but I swear it stops only a few feet from the ground! Please don't skip it!
We look forward to riding it on our trip!
Glad you really enjoyed your're day there, Btw the way you said- about the annual year gate figure: is jut over 200,000 people a year!
So not many at all-The way you said that I would of been expecting like 50,000 a year lol
200,000 isn't very low turn out to a Theme Park for a year, Or they would of had to of closed back in the 60's
Can't wait for your Europa Park Video :-)
It's still very low compared to many other parks in the country! Up next, Europa Park!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Oh yea compared to many other parks yeah, But in general speaking that isn't very low like say if you owened your own Theme Park at just over 200,000 you would be smiling like a Cheshire Cat :-)
The first one is like the mumble jumble at flimngoland
7:05 saw the ride?
Love it!
Don't know why Shawn doesn't ask someone for the pronunciation. He isn't exactly shy!
It's more fun the way he does it!!
I need to!
The first ride is like mumbo-jumbo from flamingo land
I did some research, apparently it's pronounced fray-pear-TWEE (pear pronounced like the fruit)
Alton tower
Hi man if you can go to nigloland you will like this park
You need to visit frontier city in Oklahoma City Oklahoma because it has a few good coasters
It is a 1 hour kinda park like this vlog but I really wanna hear your thoughts on the coasters
Hi Shaun,
When do you think you will visit Terra Mitica at Benidorm?
Lovin these videos!
Have you not done Drop of doom at SFMM thats got those lap bars too. So does Zumanjaro which il guess your ride soon, Disappointing for their heights tho. Im fussy with my towers like you ha
Go to bellewarde in Belgium
The Punch and Judy Man Shawn went there very recently! The vlog is up.
I visited earlier in this series!
Let me help you. The park Fraispertuis is pronounced "fre-per-twee". The manufacturer Sochet is pronounced "so-shay".
Thank you!
