- In the fifth vlog from my Europe road trip I head to Foire du Trône in central Paris. This huge fun fair features a fantastic collection of travelling rides which return to the city every year with the event dating back to 1957. In this vlog I share on ride POV's from many of the major attractions on offer at Foire du Trône including King, Jet Star and Insider! I also ride 3 awesome ghost trains along with checking out some of the other unique rides on offer at this fantastic travelling fair.

i love when shaun is on some triple inversion death machine and everyone else is screaming like they are being cannonballed through all 9 layers of hell but he's just like ''gee my legs are a bit uncomfortable but the ride is pretty smooth, oh look the eiffel tower!'' :')

The Crazy Mouse you went on is very special, it’s is actually the prototype from Reverchon and what’s amazing is how new it looks and that it has a final dip at the end
It's always making me happy to see such positive comments about the rides we have in France !
I live near the Foire du Trône and I first saw Crazy Mouse in 1997 when I was 3, but I still don't know which year this coaster came out. It comes each year in this funfair since and it never gets old. :D
I'm excited for this one!
Hope you're going to visit one of the huge german Funfairs soon as well, like the "Cranger Kirmes" or the "Düsseldorfer Rheinwiesen"!

Tracey Beerling lol yeah it was rammed when we was there and it was an incredible atmosphere, so glad Shawn still made a visit and went on that second Ghost Train as it’s amazing

Loved the first 2 ghost rides... they were good..especially the one with the smoke.. they were probably amazing at night, in the dark.. I wish traveling fairs in the US had rollercoasters..

17:22 OMG a Schwarzkopf Jet Star ! My first Rollercoaster I ever rode in the 1970tees. Interesting Fair. We have normaly two Streetfairs in Stuttgart the year over. Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest (Stuttgart Spring festival) and Cannstatter Volksfest (October Festival), but today in 2020/21 are not happend cause the Corona Pandemic.,
I like the Ghost Train at 32:00 min.

Not sure if the Insider is a Fabbri King Loops model (but I actually think it’s a Mondial Shake) but Huss (I think) have one called Booster (not the propellor thing) that flips you over sideways instead of roly-poly style. Looks insane!
I’m hoping that in the future you will get a chance to see le pal.it is a great park with a flamingo land style to it and a good line up of coasters

you should go to the foire au maneges in Lille. it's obviously smaller than the foire du trône, but you have a small but beautiful park called cita parc, which is really cool.

Why can't Wales have more travelling coasters? All we have is a tiny one called "Runaway Train". A few wild mice and caterpillars would be good. A wild mouse and caterpillar would be great for my local winter wonderland since they really need a shake up. They need something new instead of the same old, lower their prices and get a wristband,. A wild mouse and caterpillar would compliment the flat rides and Runaway Train.
I went on a ghost train that lasted 30 seconds. All there was was a few candles and a guy who jumped at you at the start and ran across the scene to jump at you at the end. £1.50

This reminds of the Hamburger Dom, which is a huge travelling fair in Hamburg, happening 3 times a year (Spring, Summer, Winter), each time staying for ~1 month. Although I have never ever seen the Dom this empty.
That Insider ride btw - yes, I watched till the end ;-) - looked fantastic and like a lot of fun, but I can't see myself going on this without "having my dinner in reverse", if you know what I mean :D
Wish the UK had more travelling coasters. Sad they don’t really go beyond crazy mouse or caterpillar coasters outside of Winter Wonderland.

Nice Funfair Shawn! The onride POV from Untamed looks incredible! This coaster has potential to be the best in Europe (and the world?) We wish you and Alex good luck and -health on the STRATOTRIP to the USA! Tomorrow I wil go to Slagharen's Goldrush again! (because we have a season pass, haha...) If you want to go to a big Funfair in the Netherlands, you should go to "Tilburgse Kermis" in Tilburg! Greetings from Holland from a family from the province of Groningen in the Netherlands

The first rollercoaster is so rough at the end when it short breaks
You HAVE to come to Huss' home Bremen for Bremer Freimarkt in october some time! Inside is called Commander there and is like some kind of premium version of that ride - you would love it! Maybe you could come by when visiting Hansa and Heide for halloween.
We have a mondial insider that comes to german fairs called 'The Shake & Roll' its my favourite! they are a lot fo fun, and if you ride with someone and you both get a rhythm going to rock the cars, you get a lot of flips in

If you go to "de Tilburgse Kermis" (19th until 28th of juli) there is a themed inversion XXL called "Propeller" from Ordelman, which looks better and has a better ride experience than the one you've just been on in the vlog!
The pictures in the 1st ghost train are from Duel at Alton Towers I think

Shawn, will you come to the opening of Fury at Bobbejaanland on the 25th of this month (june)? I just saw your vlog from slagharen. you where talking about how you enjoyed gold rush and now Bobbejaanland is getting the big brother of that ride: Fury, it's 10 meters higher than gold rush, has 3 inversions and goos 66 mph (106.6 kmp). I think it has a realy good chance of being the bets coaster in belgium (until the intamin coaster comming to Walibi in 2021), better than rides like Anubis, Pulsar or Psyke Underground.
We'll be visiting in July
correct me if I’m wrong but the wild mouse ride had a very similar layout as twister at wmsp.. anyone agree?

When I visited in 2018 the whole place was absolute rammed you couldn’t move.
Shame the Top Spin was closed that’s one of the best operated ones I’ve seen, just out of interest what day and time did you visit ?

Walabi is a good theme park
Very nice, but imagine you have a family with two kids the costs of a few hours in this fair are insane (in allmost any fair actually). I understand very well that the investments and the costs of running rides of this magnitude are huge. These are all multi-million businesses. But with four people doing a ride of 2 minutes and paying 20 euro's, that's for every normal average family a lot...I mean a very lot of money :-).

lets see if i can watch this video today and have the power not go out. Fun Fairs are best at night, when really come to life with all the lights and people. Not a bad one this one. Pretty big i think, for a traveling one :)
Hate over the shoulders restrains. They are painful and take away so much from the rides.

Three dark rides; there's bounty for you! That wild ride at the end made me dizzy. Another distractingly empty park. I'm looking forward to Disney, just for the people.
