    Oh man the ‘90s- mid ‘00s era.. I was a teen then. imo probably the best era for JDM Sport Cars. So many fantastic vehicles.. The Evo, STi, Supra, GTR, the RX-7, Integra, NSX, etc. They were quite easy to work on too.. Every one wanted the TE37s lol

    • @bohemianraceart
      @bohemianraceart 2 роки тому

      I don't know about that TE37 part tho 🤣🤣 but definitely the 90s and early 00s what a time to becoming of age. If you are a gear head I have to say that ways the last age of a golden Era. P.S. always had a soft spot for regas. ✌

    Better than ASMR. Your usage of reference footage, the magazine, the music, the subject matter, and your voice combine to a truly relaxing video. I love this idea as a series. These old publications are such great blasts from the past.

    This was fantastic! I truly appreciated this episode in particular as I've actually acquired a large number of older Japanese publications featuring Honda cars and motorcycles, and the S2000 in particular, despite the fact that I cannot read them. I've also obtained a few JDM publications similar to the one you covered here, so the details you provided about the content was very enjoyable for me. To be honest, I was just happy to receive notification that you had released a new video after some time away.
    As far as future content goes, I'd love to see you cover other magazines as you did this time around, along with further examination of your diecast scale model cars - it appears that you have some really interesting examples. (I've noticed that some of the 1:64 scale cars in particular that various companies are releasing these days are incredibly detailed with great proportions.) Of course this would be in addition to all of the other great content you provide that we've grown accustomed to. Maybe I should just ask that you keep sharing all that you can with us as you've been doing. I'll keep watching. Thanks as always!

    What a lovely video!!!!So much coool information about this lovely car scene. I ended up buying an Evo 6 Tommi Makinen after seeing your video about the Evo5 (when i was actually looking for an evo5 ).So in fear of it beeing abit silly suggestion...it would be awesome to see you do a proper video about the Evo6 ,,eventhough it would obviously be maybe abit to similar to the evo5 video.Or at least some more Mitsubushi related stuff ?But nevertheless...it would be super cool. Anyways..thank you for all the great videoes.Greetings from Norway , Stefan

    The late 90's to about 2005 were my favorite times. I had tons of magazines. Unfortunately they were all destroyed when my parents basement flooded. I want to rebuild my collection but the prices on magazine collections are so expensive now.

      @@nickn7939 ugh, no it doesn't. Just thinking of how many of these collections are gone forever. Or how many sit in basements, closets, attics, only to be tossed out. Out of all the magazines I had I have 1 left.

      Correct! The yellow FD is indeed a Type RS-R which was a limited run model in 1997. Type R Bathurst and Type R Bathurst R was also a limited run model in 2001 with features such as adjustable Showa struts and a Mazdaspeed carbon interior

    They have a lot of differences compared to my country's car magazines back in the 2000s. They would either be magazines based around reviews of cars and motorbikes or magazines based around street racing culture and modified cars.

    That's what's so sad about GR86. At the weight it is then it needs at least 280bhp to even compare to what we had 25 years ago. Owner can't even make it much lighter because roof, hood and fenders are already aluminum.

    This video makes me sad, because we might be driving those kind of cars for the last time in a few years.
    Because of laws against fuel powered cars and the fact that there's less and less of them remaining.
    We will probably never again get cars with such "personalities".
