      yes it is very cool thing and i fell blesst and luck that we have that but with great freedom comes great resposebility no litering lev the place like it look like befor you came check the weather if you want camp fire so it is not dry and you will start forest fire don´t thing every one think of this but as one that grov up with it is importent to me to so this tradition can liv on and get the respekt it deserves. i think one or 2 of them maybe are in in constitution but thay all should be added to the constitosion
      sorry i ranted bit but see some folk seem think this is free for all and take advantage of it that is why and iam passiont about too keep it becuse it is so greate

    Nice vlog. FYI, the barking at night could very well be a deer. They can at times sound just like a dog. The most dangerous animal we have in the archipelago is the tick. It actually seek you up, but all the other ‘dangerous’ animals usually avoid you - snakes, foxes, badgers, moose.
    Safe travels, keep up the good work.

    And at 24:53 you have what I would guess is the source of the barking you heard the night before, a roedeer! They are oh so noicy when you are out and about in regions where there are meadows and fields around, and their calling is very much like a dogs barking! IT is very fun, and actually seems like a great area to bike around, never did Vaxholm and the northern archipelago, I did the southern part... but based on this, well worth doing it. I am just a little confused why you are pushing your bike up in the forest when there was obvious clearing there :D Anyways, your choice your vlog, and it was funny for sure. Good to know also, you don't have to avoid so much setting up on places that seems like private property, in the wilderness allemansrätt applies, meaning that for 24 hours you can set up a camp anywhere, unless is the literal garden of a house, or dangerous, or in direct disturbance to people or nature. You just need to make sure you clean up the place, so you leave it as you found it. Also, you dont need to lock the bike out in the forest, the rural parts in Sweden are quite safe to start with :)

    The trick to swimming in cold water is to submerge quickly and then actually stay in it because the body gets used to it quickly.
    Your last name "Bergen" is translated to "The Mountains" in Swedish.
    Anyway, thank you for your good vibes.

    • @NatashaBergen
      @NatashaBergen  3 роки тому

      @bodan1196 3 роки тому

      May I suggest that you try the following: submerge quickly, get out quckly, then wait for a minute or so (no towel) before going back in.
      I have found that the second time you enter the water, is by far not as shocking as the first. This is my personal experience, so not a rule.

They are maybe not pleasant to get in your bed, but fairly harmless in all, unless maybe you have an allergy. The all read ones with no black head or tail, almost slightly see through, you don't want them in your bed, trust me. They belong to the Myrmica family, again thanks Wikipedia. They are surely no bullet ants, but it still hurts, a lot!

  • @bodan1196
    @bodan1196 3 роки тому +1

    Something you (N) said made me think of the swedish national anthem. It begins with the words "Du gamla, du fria". Direct translation is "You old, you free". Now, you are not by any consideration old, and I suspect that you are one of those people that will remain young even past a hundredth birthday, there was just something that allowed me a comfortable assumption that you share the same appreciation and yerning(?) as the author of that line. 🙂

    • @NatashaBergen
      @NatashaBergen  3 роки тому

      I would say you assumed right 😁 I like that line, it’s poetic. Can I also guess you share that feeling? ☺️

    • @bodan1196
      @bodan1196 3 роки тому

      @Natasha Bergen Oh, yes. Though, as how I have allowed my life to become, it's not
      obvious and could be questioned along with my intelligence and mental health ;-)
      (Sitting at home alone too much)
      Having been "born free" (...Elsa?) where any leash is a personal choice, and not permanetly
      binding, the thought of not having the possiblilty of the freedom which you are (were) currently
      experiencing... no, I care not to contemplate.
      But there is a frase/saying, which must be heeded for this freedom to function and even to
      exist: Frihet Under Ansvar, ie Freedom Under Responsibility.
      The freedom-to-roam is built on that saying. Go where you please, but be responsible enough
      to not damage, destroy or disturb.
      One aspect of this, tells you that "freedom" is a consequence of responsibility. Freedom is
      thus not an unquestionable right, but something that we together grow and nurture.
      Again, thank you for sharing some of your life with the world. You make it a better one for many.

      @@bodan1196 wow that’s an amazing thought process for you to have shared, thank you! I couldn’t agree more, I’ve had this chat with a few people along those lines where ‘my freedom ends where yours begin’ - so it’s exactly that - responsibility with freedom.
