Currently I’m living in Warsaw and have got an opportunity to move to Barcelona with my 1 year old daughter. Warsaw is very safe for everyone. Education and healthcare is free here. My main concern is safety for my wife and daughter. Is it safe or better to stay in Warsaw only ?

The thing about eggs being refrigerated or not. I heard this explanation on another UA-cam channel. It sounds plausible to me. In USA and Canada they wash the eggs before putting them on the shelves thus taking away a protective layer from the egg shells. Result- they have to put the eggs in refrigerators. We in Europe do not wash the eggs and the protective layer is kept intact. Result- it is perfectly safe to keep the eggs in room temperature in the stores.

I think a lot of European countries have everything closed on Sundays. It’s the same in Poland. Every Sunday everything is closed apart from small private businesses like a small private shop. If you don’t get your shopping done by Saturday your literally out of food lol

6:15 bunker in the dolomites were actually trenches of ww1 because was the front of Austria Hungary and Italy, soldier fought over glacier there, if you are in alpinism there are a lot of cannon and bombs left on glaciers.

Those are very touristy places. You will be rubbing shoulders with other tourists.

Spent 6 months as a student in Bergen a few years ago and honnestly I just miss it very often.

Fun fact about Visby, it inspired the studio ghibli movie Kiki's delivery service. There is a tour where you go to all the places in the movie.

Btw in Ukraine all of the mountains 2000+ meters (there are 6 of them) are really close together and you can climb all of them in one day (but better make it slower to enjoy the nature). The best time is May if you want to see mountains blooming in pink roddodendron, and august if u want to eat some blueberries and enjoy warm nights.

I kind of doubt you'll an easy time conquering peaks of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine these days - eastern Europe I mean.

The Olympics will do absooutely nothing to Northern Italy. It is already full of tourists and everyone knows it. So dont go in August and Inbetween Christmas and January 6th. If you want to go skiing go the week before christmas and for Summer activities go end of May or September / October. Trust me... I live here..

I was supposed to be hiking 30 miles today, but the track is waterlogged so I’ve had to cancel, I don’t really want to hike through puddles 12 inches deep, and end up being a mud monster. Great video as always, hope you have a great 2025.
