What I love most about your videos, besides the excellent filming and editing, is that you allow all the beautiful sounds of nature (the birds singing, the sound of the paddle on the water, the wind in the trees, the sizzling of your stove) without talking through it all or playing super loud music. Awesome trip. I'm sure I'll never make it there, so this is the next best thing. Thank you for sharing the beauty of our world for those of us who will never see these corners.
only people who trying to take a silent hiking video like this can understand how hard it is to get this high quality video.appreciate what you did,Harman -fans from China
Harmen! Your videos should be prescribed to anyone who deals with anxiety, stress or depression. I’m always in awe of the beauty God has made and how you capture it perfectly. My husband and I watch faithfully and enjoy all the little things. The coffee in the morning, the unpacking and packing, the quiet, the sunsets, everything. And we always have fun looking for that tiny Bible verse at the end!
You've perfected your craft. The quality is something you can count on, perfect angles, peace and quiet, completely draws you into the experience, and always your favorite fun photos @ the end. Thank you for being a beautiful creator and adventurer, loved the canoe trip!
What primarily describes the film for me is 'serenity'. Throughout the film I was drawn into a stillness and silence that I'm sure you were feeling during much on this adventure. Would love to spend a night on the platform with water on all four sides to camp from. Spectacular film Harmen! You brought out the bare essence of what this experience must have contained so beautifully. Your films are so amazing and full of vitality and granduer and yet including the solitude and intimacy you must be experiencing. That my friend is called the complete package expression and exactly what one would wish could be established in all filming. Thanks!
Harmen is truly still an undiscovered gem, amazing filmmaking as ever. Every video from the first to the last is of extraordinary quality. The silent style allows for an immersive experience, no distraction from the majesty of the natural world on show and allowing the viewer to fill in the blanks with wherever their mind wanders as though they themsleves were on these beautiful journeys. Thank you Harmen!
The quality of your videos is something else...Whenever there is a new Harmen video coming, it's "change to big screen" time it is! :). Well done and thanks for sharing!
WOW. Another Masterpiece. So breathtaking & serene. Always love your camping spots because they are so unique. When I look at the mountains in the distance I picture you standing on the highest peak with drone in hand. Thanks for the canoe trip, Harmen. Loved it. 😊👍🏻🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸
Harmen's canoeing in the clouds. Now that is unique! You have an eye for the spectacular unique shot. I especially loved that paddle through the trees... the light so beautiful. No bugs for the trip, how good was that! Oh no, Harmen's going to jump into the canoe! Had me for a second :) Thanks so much, lovely man.
Wearing that classic orange Compass lifejacket in a yellow canoe is one of the most swedish experiences you can have. Thank you for an amazing video, as always!
These first minutes already made me speechless .always amazing to see how beautiful our planet is, Your channel is truly magnificent. All of the camera angles and effort and dedication you put into your passions is awesome . I Thank you for being a huge inspiration to me .well done👌
Really awesome Harmen! Thank you. I’m not particularly a “water” person, (more alpine) but this is very inspiring and beautiful. Those floating “plateaus “ are very cool and of course the soothing sound of water everywhere. Which leads me to this observation. There is, in every individual I think, of a longing for nature. Some will indulge and some will not and on a political/cultural level the same applies. The existence of those man made platforms speaks very well to me about the culture of Sweden.
This was one of the most beautiful videos I’ve watched! I know it took a lot of work on your part! Thank you for sharing this bit of Sweden with us and bringing all the best that Nature has to offer!!
We thought you were going to finish with the oars on the ground, but you launch yourself !!!! :))))). You are "growing" very fast. With the Faroe Islands it was like the perfect minimization, with the Volcano you gave us the color of flames and with the Canoe a different trip. Once again, wonderful job Herman Hoek.
I am getting emotional by watching this video. the calm and serene environment is overwhelming. After seeing your video on the Mont Blanc i knew what i wanted to do: back to nature. I sold my boat and bought the gear i needed (thanks to your video's ) and then.... the doctors told me they have to cut my leg and correct the angle to save my knee. that would take a whole year to recover....So, maybe next year i can go make the trip to the mountains. Sweden is also on my bucketlist if i can call it that.. thanks Harmen for inspiring me. God bless you!
It's fantastic to watch your videos. The shots you're making are long enough to look at details of nature and landscapes you present. I like your films for calmness, nice music and no-talking. Good job! Waiting for more productions on your channel.
A beautiful video of a fantastic country. Your photography is great too. I especially enjoyed your use of drone footage. Great choice of music too. I have loved my paddles in Sweden, in the Dalsand area. My trips started with observing youth groups from the UK, completing their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Expedition. But on one occasion I spent 10 days paddling with a friend. It was a great trip. Harmen Thank you for sharing your experiences.
As a swedish bushcrafter myself I have to say this video brings happiness to me watching it , and some amazing nature, really good effort with making the video , greetings from a swedish bushcrafter 🌲
Thanks for another excellent film. In July of 2022 I hiked south from Saltoluokta to Kvikkjokk - in fine weather - and then did a quick two-hour boat session with Bjorn the boatman there to the edge of the shallow lagoon featured here. But then I had to catch the bus to pick up some of my stuff in Gallivare before catching a flight back from Tromso, so thanks for filling in the things there wasn't time to do. This summer it was Hemavan to Adolfström, i.e. the southern end of the Kungsleden trail. But did not progress further because I did not like the rumours circulating (in July & August) about the mystery illness spreading down from the north, closing the huts to those without prior bookings or those simply tenting.
This is what I love about your videos , you completely teleport your viewers to entirely different realm of peace and bliss ! I really love the amount of hard work you put in ! Keep up the work ! keep inspiring and spreading peace like you always do ! 🙌🙌
Welcome to Sweden and thanks for sharing! Beautiful camerawork and storytelling as always 👏 Those droneshots of the river with it's shifting colors and all. That night on the lake must've been amazing too.
I love to see the different trips to take this is really unique with a canoe and the photography as usual can't wait to see your next one music is beautiful thank you
Man, that's one of the best videos I've seen on utube the camera work and drone footage was 1st class, I could have stayed on that raft all week, excellent..
So pleased to have discovered your channel. Only the 3rd video I’ve watched and I am really impressed by the how well you capture the beauty of so many places. Besides the scenery, one thing that really impressed me in this video was that, contrary to what it looks like would be expected, you didn’t spend the majority of the time thrashing your arms around swatting mosquitoes, though did hear a buzz or two during the video. Would love to take my sit-on-top kayak out one those waters. That island where you spent the first night looks like an incredible place to hang out in my hammock. Thanks for sharing.
Canoeing has much appeal to me, as an occasional option to hiking, for both gear storage and greater tranquility. When I was in Finnish Lapland, many years ago on a car trip, the water temperature was “bracing,” and the local mosquitoes were very hungry! However, biting insects did not seem an issue on this trip. Very relaxing and enjoyable.
Fantastisch! Van minuut een tot twintig, deze trip wil ik nu exact zo maken. Het verlangen is groot, dat wereldje prachtig in beeld gebracht Harmen! Hartelijk dank ✨
Just know that the effort you put in making these videos is much much appreciated. It’s always a pleasure to watch these, so inspiring.
Thank you very much!
🥰

Those trout look like sausages. All that water and not a fish!🐟And you really keep that coffee supplier in business too!☕On to the next video.....
So beautiful man, I must visit that beautiful land!!

I love your wordless videos. They speak for themselves> So beautiful and relaxing.
And a cool new twist doing it on water too! I did a couple desert river floats myself. So nice to live large too and let the water carry it all.
Please do not stop making these videos, so calming! Thank you for making my day!
This guy is a treasure . The Earth needs such people

Thanks Harmen for another spectacular film ... loved it.
I am watching this 08h00 on a Saturday. Due to adverse weather we had to postpone our sleepout. This is balm for the soul.
Great pictures and drone footage. 👍
Very time-consuming to position the camera, thank you very much for that.
Your videos are Masterpieces. I Love them! 🙂
