Great Job, Curtis. Well done. I think everyone should always wear a safety waist belt regardless of flows. If you’ve ever had water in your waders, it sure is nice when it stops at your waist! :)
Just fished it Wednesday. It was incredible. And the river smelled so fresh and beautiful. I am going to check out one of my mountain streams Wednesday and worried it might be too sketchy. So I really appreciated this video. I am going to approach it as scouting for mid summer.
I am going to try and apply these principles in the Sierra Cascade region this week. Normally, the stream I fish can be easily crossed. This week I am going to be ultra cautious!
No, no, no. I learned in the US Army that no matter what, safety comes 3rd. ;)
Yup safety first is definitely rule number three.
Thank you for your service

@@daveschlom4033 I’m gonna head up and fish it again next week. Gonna focus on still water.
I want that shirt! The flying UFO is the best part =)
Great tips Curtis - thanks for sharing! 🎣
Thank you Curtis - excellent reminders. Central Utah has high flows right now ... but it's what we need to help us out of the multi-year drought!
Great video, given the current situation with northern US stream conditions. Most importantly folks, be safe out there.
Great clues... nice drone videos of lower river...
Belt is a must always for me. Taken too many swims over the years.
I know these tips seem simple... but unless you nail them all at once, fishing can be much slower. Appreciate the reminders!
Great tips Curtis. Stressing safety is #1 for sure.
Keep up the great work
