Thank you! Alright, I will take your word. haha I'm still working on getting things sorted out for shirts and hats, but will make the announcement on here when they are available!
During high water conditions, the big ones come out from their hiding places to play. Also, trout migrate during high water conditions - to look for feeding stations and areas for spawning. Great video.
Great intro and video overall. Wonderful work and nice job getting that big fish. Gotta love when a plan comes together and a plan comes together. Enjoyed it buddy!
Thanks a lot Mike! Yeah, it's a great feeling, that's for sure. I'm waiting for some new videos from you man. haha Also, next week's video is from when we bumped into each other.
@@Brownsylvania No problem. My schedule has been busy every day and night during the week. Just trying to stay afloat. Next week it eases up during day some and I can work, but still get some editing done and get back to one video a week. I will be putting out one tonight I started before I bumped into you. Then do a quick one on a diff small stream in that PA area before I fished with you. I should have ours up by next Friday. Can't wait to see yours! I am sure it will turn out better than mine :)
Great action and nice fish, gotta love the streamers in higher dirty water. Cool video! Shame about the short takes, one thing I hate about streamers, the short takes. I seem to catch about one third of my streamer hits. The big hits haunt me, Augh! Nice job 👍🏻
Thanks Scott! Yeah, that's about what my ratio is too. I usually don't miss many big fish takes because they normally engulf the whole streamer. I like using smaller streamers just to increase the hook up odds. Also when streamer fishing it can be good to catch some smaller fish here and there to boost your morale because it can become a grind. haha
Ive found that the swollen stained water will pull those bigger fish out of their hiding spots and give you the opportunity to find them out roaming the stream and catch them in some of the more obvious pockets and runs
This is a tight line setup, but I do some drifting, stripping, jigging, etc. just with a mono rig instead of fly line. I do not mention any streams unless they are well known anyway.
Yeah, I've been trying to explain more technique in my newer videos. I haven't fished streamers in a while though, but once I start again I'll try and explain more. Thanks for watching!
It's actually not fly line, it's Amnesia. I use a mono rig for streamers and nymphs. Here's a video explaining my setup if you're interested: ua-cam.com/video/cmE7YBWVUTM/v-deo.html
haha That's funny you point that out because I actually have noticed this myself and it actually hurts sometimes because of the little metal piece there for hooking your fly on to. I think I do it to make the rod a bit shorter so it's easier to net fish? Idk to be honest. 😂
Thank you! Sometimes I don't realize I'm doing this, but I do understand the importance of keeping the fish in the water and most of the time do and quickly release.
@@Brownsylvania I thought that big one was going to die bc it was put of the water for so long. I was so stressed watching it. I'm glad you understand, I'll continue to watch then! 😁
Enjoy this video? Check out this short film as well: ua-cam.com/video/0Jjrn5JUXdY/v-deo.html

Brownsylvania Trucker hat will be a must have for me brotha
I'm not sure when I'll have hats available, but I do have shirts coming very soon so stay tuned for that.

Cool. Sounds great man! Like I said, it's the personality of the channel that counts.
Another great video. you are becoming quite artistic and your fishing is phenomenal. I want a hat!
Thanks a lot Bob. That means a lot and keeps me motivated. I'll announce on the channel here once shirts and hats are available.
Awesome video. Love the hat & would order one. Keep up the great work.
Gary Kolanda
Thanks for watching!
Note taken on the hat. I'll announce it on the channel as soon as I start selling them.
I would order one of those hats as well. Nice color.

Awesome video.

Great job as usual !!!!! Would be interested in hat too !!!
Thanks a lot!
Okay, awesome! Seems like a lot of people are definitely interested in hats. haha
Let me know where you’re going we may meet up sometime!
production quality is way up. really enjoyed this one
also, I'd be interested if you were going to get more of those hats. they look good
Thanks man!
For sure. When I get everything situated with some merch I'll be making an announcement.
sick!
Thanks!
Are you tight lining? How do you fish streamers?
This is a tight line setup, but I do some drifting, stripping, jigging, etc. just with a mono rig instead of fly line.
I do not mention any streams unless they are well known anyway.
Can you give a little detail on the technique you're using when streaming? I'm a beginner fly fisher and I am trying to learn technique as well.
Yeah, I've been trying to explain more technique in my newer videos. I haven't fished streamers in a while though, but once I start again I'll try and explain more. Thanks for watching!
A+
Do you mention what stream you fish?
what band is that red line
Amnesia
What fly line are you using ?

like the hat
Thanks!
Have you ever fished the Secret Stream water from the video?
Secret Stream?

Oh, if that's the stream I'm thinking of, then yeah.
@@Brownsylvania there is a lodge there now - you should check it out. www.thefeatheredhooklodge.com/
I find it odd that you move your hand so far up the rod to fight it sometimes
haha That's funny you point that out because I actually have noticed this myself and it actually hurts sometimes because of the little metal piece there for hooking your fly on to. I think I do it to make the rod a bit shorter so it's easier to net fish? Idk to be honest. 😂
@@Brownsylvania I was thinking that maybe long rod and you have trees over your head....
Good way to snap a rod, even on a small fish. Completely changes the physics of the way the rod was mean to bare the weight
Beautiful fish but please while your talking keep the fish in the water.
