I want to thank you because you helped me losing weight with your videos. I have lost 100 lbs in the last 5 months
That's amazing! Well done!
You're such an inspiration! I watched you video when I first started my plant based journey and came back to check in and you're still a star! Thank you!
thanks so much! You're a star too!
Eat to live, not to die
Great way to demonstrate how one can make a very simple lunch (precooked rice and a can of beans) when one doesn't have anything prepared. No need for a "recipe" as such; just warm up some good, healthy ingredients.
definitely! no need to complicate things
I love how simple this can be! Thanks Andrew!
Laura Castillejos soo simple! Thanks for watching 😀🥔👍
I loved this! Your meals are simplicity, pure and simple, and wholesome; healthy; and delicious at the same time. I can't wait to try some of these things out. I lived in Germany for a while, so I know Aldi. They have now opened some in the States, too. I need to get there stat to check out that bag of precooked brown rice. Again, thanks so much, Andrew. Great food; great video!
Love all your recipes. The rice and baked beans are yum... I eat something similar, and I throw in a couple handfuls of frozen chopped kale or other greens. I like the kale. I don't even use any herbs or spices here in this, it's so good just as is. Thanks for giving us such good ideas.
I love banana oatmeal. I alternate it with apple. When I use an apple, I grate 1/2 of it, add it to the oats in addition to a teaspoon of cinnamon, and then I cook it. I chop up the other half, and add it to my cooked oatmeal. I love both both and eat one or the other every morning.
More more more! Love the simple approach videos! Thank you!
thanks so much for your support!
Spud Fit , thank YOU!
Love spuds! eat them everyday, I am Irish , ☘️ my stable diet for a lifetime !
Can't go wrong with spuds!
@@SpudFit I have a strange question. Can I eat potatoes also at night, when i try to lose weight?
What do you mean...is the time important?
@@gigiogigi3725 time is not important. Spud up!
3:37 that looks so good yet it is unbelievably cheap and simple to create
JustMegawatt it’s really great! Sometimes I add broccoli too.
This was great! Thanks for all that you do.
thanks for watching!
Gonna start my spud fit diet again... every time I did this diet I have successfully lost 10kg in 6 weeks. I love this diet❤️❤️❤️
the most important thing about a spud fit challenge is what you eat when it's over. Let me know if you'd like some help :-)
Love these kinds of videos! Thanks!
thankyou!
So fast and easy! My kind of cooking. Thanks!
no worries, thanks for watching!
Hope you keep posting videos you ha e helped me sooooo much
You said I need to get my head right first . So I have a huge bag of excuses I may try to sell on Amazon.
When I was out with my Son's I told them to respect that I eat differently now and very happy doing so. And I think they get it now
so glad to help! Yes I definitely plan on lot's more videos...
Hey mate, here in Brazil our main meal is always rice and beans, so I totally felt the deliciousness in your plate. Still, I would have a check in cronometer.com cause it seems to be lacking some nutrients in those daily meals. Usually I have rice, beans and other yummy cooked/raw vegetables together (examples: tomato, carrots, eggplant, beets, green beans, brocolli, cauliflower, zucchini) + salad to fulfill the fiber needs. Additionally one spoon of grounded flaxseed or Chia for the omega 3 and a lemon squeezed in the food to improve iron absorption. If u cook them in a batch it will be easy to mount the weekly plates. Hope it helps!
Thankyou. I get more than enough of everything I need. This was an unusual, disorganised day.
I like these ideas. Thanks for posting
No worries, thanks for watching 👍
Weight loss takes dedication. The dedication gets much easier once you start losing weight and seeing results.
Most important is good systems
@@SpudFit I just incorporated spuds into my "diet" along with intermittent fasting. Twice a day I eat a plain baked potato, a boiled egg and a protein bar. Then depending on how late I work I may have another potato/egg/protein shake or a small meal at home and maybe snack on some mixed nuts/sunflower seeds/beef jerky. I just drink water/tea/coffee. Every day I ride bike 1/2 hour, hit the speed bag 20 minutes and do another 1/2 hour abs/back/resistance training. Since May I've lost 40 lbs, lowered my blood pressure to normal levels and got my resting heart rate around 60 bpm. I feel great!
@@SpudFit I'm 53 yrs old by the way.
Very helpful thanks! So simple! People complicate it
joshua braxton Thankyou. Keep it simple!
This looks great! People don't realize how simple it can be
So simple! Thanks for watching :-)
Been awhile since I stopped by,
what? No potatoes? I had pea soup a couple days ago, but it was a can of pea soup and a big glob of mashed-up potatoes cooked in my insta-pot
I thought I died and went to heaven. so good!
I also like corn chowder and mashed potato combo
By the way, I'm still losing weight, down 8 sizes, good weight for my age,
but, if I lose another 10lb this year, I can afford it. Better than putting on 10 every year that got me to where I was, in trouble!
The best part, I'm NEVER hungry!
Keep on, keeping on!
SJ R a rare non potato day! Good job, keep pushing!
Great mixture.Your making me hungry buddy .🥔
Simple, delicious and satisfying 🤙👏 thank you ☺️
thankyou!
Wonderful! Just how I eat. My oatmeal would get peanut butter, cinnamon, and some chocolate chips. The rice and beans - salsa. Interesting to see you have a day without potatoes. I find that usually at least half my plate is potatoes. We even have Aldi here in small-town Indiana. At first I thought it was just weird (not your standard grocery brands), but there are some real finds.
keepin it simple, good job!
It was helpful to me. Thank you
great! Thanks for watching
Would love Mandy's pea soup recipe.
I'll work on her and see what happens...
Everything looks great! I often eat oatmeal too, but I have to soak it overnight before cooking otherwise it gives me bad gas and "tummy trouble."
I used to have the same problem. My spud fit challenge fixed my gut so I have no problem with it any more.
I've found out that whenever I consume refined sugar in some form, I get bloated. Refined sugar changes the gut bacteria and it takes at least 2 weeks to get rid of those bad effects. Another important thing not to forget is that when eating fiber rich food like oats, we must also be sure to drink enough or consume food that contains water (fruits, veggies...). I hope this helps you!
Sandra Carli good advice 😀
@@SpudFit Thank you!
About time you bloody did one ! :-) LOL
haha it's been a while!
It's cheap & easy. People just make excuses... Hello from California :-)
Potatoes are delicious!
You could add some cilantro to the beans and rice
That would go well. 👍
💛💛💛💛💛
Porridge is made with salt, any. banana or any other fruit or sugar = pudding. Now brose that's a whole different ball game. Lol, clearly the spud fit programme is solid.
You can call it what ever you like mate ;-) I'll just eat it and enjoy it
Yum, bananas and oatmeal love it.
Dede Dinah can’t go wrong 👍
I like this kind of eating but I have to eat much more veggies from myself because I am afraid that I gain more and more weight if I eat that much starches
Starches are weight loss food. If you eat whole, unprocessed starches you will not gain weight. People typically gain weight because they have crappy foods along with their starches.
Spud Fit thank you. So half starches half veggies will be satisfying and not gaining weight?
Starch without the crappy foods of course.
yes
Simply delicious
definitely
what am i doing here watching this during a water fast? lol
HAHA!
3:56 Are you sure that's $1.30 of rice? You can buy rice where I am for $8 for a 20 pound bag, for example: www.walmart.com/ip/Great-Value-Long-Grain-Enriched-Rice-20-lb/10315883
A single plate of rice should be like 5 cents.
This was a single serving pack of pre-cooked rice that I used because I was not organised today. Yes I'm sure it was $1.30
I messed up my first potato recipe at the end I lost my apitite
Rule number one is - eat as much as you feel like, as often as you feel like it.
Porridge doesn't have to be made of oats
ok
Where’s the vegetables?
:-)
You should try eating a vegetable sometime . 5 a day fail
Try not making assumptions.

Healthy and delicious!
