Hello sir, for horizontal spacing of macros, we have a formula with the pins but vertically we place macros one by one there we have no pins then how to calculate how much spacing we have provided over there?
Sir what is preferred in a design, keepout margin or placement blockage, or both can be applied for the macro? Or some kind of hierarchy/precedence rule is there. Thanks!
If we you do power grid creation before macro placement then tool will do draw power structure in all places where macros should have sit and you will see lot of pg shorts with macros
