      Hard placement blockage is for placement of std cells. It will block only std cells, and will allow routes to go through

    Hi sir, I get a lots of shorts after placing allow buffer only blockages, the shorts are clump around the edge of blockages, the blockage I placed cover the macros also, is it the way I place the blockage wrong?

    Abutted means

      2 macros are abutted means they share common boundary. So no need to keep space between them during placement as channel is not required between them.
