That's the saddest thing about this story. One poor man, trying to help the boys, swam further and further into the cave just to place an oxygen tank. He began to lose air but was determined to place the tank safely. The fact taht he had to die is extremely sad and proves her cruel the world can be sometimes.

Both men have vast cavediving experience suited for this exercise

It's just heartbreaking for the family of the hero diver who died. He's the one that needs to be remembered. The boys were so lucky. But the heroes are all of those who put their lives on the line to rescue them.
It was a really tense time. I remember being extremely worried for the boys when this incident happened. I would pray for their safe return day and night. It was a really happy day when we learned that all of them were safe and sound.
I mean the STORY and ANIMATION are great.. but I'm guessing the 10k dislikes are because People HATE THE INDIAN ACCENT.

My family was in Phuket when this happened, it was widely discussed all throughout the trip by all the tour guides around us... Everyone were overjoyed to know the kids made it out alive ❤️
I was asked to check this story of how to survive without water but not giving up you will power and should always pray in any situation.. really blessed to see this through bisbo.. last week only on Thursday I was asked to check this rescue operation and today 1 week later bisbo helped me watch it

The 17-year-old was found unconscious in his dorm in Leicestershire on Sunday and taken to hospital, where he died on Tuesday
Whoever advised to tell the boys that they were not in trouble, will not be punished, will not be scolded and nobody was angry at them: good call. That was the right thing to say and it indirectly saved their lives.

I tried not to cry but when he (narrator) started reading the message of the coach to the parents, I broke down. It really broke my heart. All of the people who went there and help the boys, they're all heroes. A little or big help is still a Help so they're all heroes. They helped one another to rescue the boys. And to that one diver who died, hats off sir. You will forever be remembered. Sacrificing your life in exchange of the life of the others is truly an amazing act. Sir, be happy on heaven. Before watching this video, I thought this incident was just another 2-3 days long of rescue and that the boys just fell down from a ledge in the cave and got stuck down. Now that I watched this, it sounded more serious. Thanks for making this informative video.

I see a lot of comments about the thai diver who died, but there were actually two divers who died. The second diver died of a blood infection, either days or weeks later. Both are true heroes, along with all who volunteered to save the boys!

I live in Thailand, there are a lot of factual errors with this story to the point where it's actually ignorant to post. The coach didn't initially enter the cave with the boys, he only entered upon hearing they were in trouble.

Everyone did an astonishing job in their own way to save the boys but what about the coach? I mean I think he did a very good job in having a positive mindset in such tense situation with the meditation and teaching them the ways to survive and what not I mean who knows if the boys were alone the rescue might have been a little too late? as they were only just young lads, they would have no idea how to go about in such situation. Respect to the coach as well and all the others who assisted in the rescue. God bless.
