Meh i disagree, i think the moster aspects was done amazing, but the human aspect was really badly handled, in the og ultraman the human interaction is very important but on this film not only was very lacking but also felt alien (pun intended) the team barely talks about each other and its more about business, in shin godzilla works because the protagonists was a literal goverment agent and the whole thing was more about the desaster unlike ultraman when its suppose to be about friendship.
@@spinosaurusstriker I don't mind the interaction even though it's a vital part in the OG though I feel like the writers could have fleshed out their relationship more. But instead of focusing on that, they decided to show human's will to live and overcome difficult situations, no matter how uncomprehensable the problems presented are and also what humans are capable of working together. That gave Ultraman an arc of learning to love humans for what they are and deciding to protect them from his own kind which I find pretty interesting.
Honestly ya. I was gonna see Babylon to top 2023 off on an artistic great note but Puss in Boots 2 was so phenomenal that I avoided Babylon feeling satisfied that Puss in boots was that amazing
See How They Run was great, loved the meta humour and the whole splitscreen aesthetic they used quite often. Highly recommend to anyone with two hours to spare.

I said before that Adam made my three favorite reviews of 2022 on Letterboxd. Those three Letterboxd reviews are the Man From Toronto review, the Bad Guys review, and the Black Phone review. To think that if it weren't for the Black Phone review, I wouldn't have reminded him he forgot about it.
I saw See How They Run in theaters and it was genuinely one of my favorite films of that year and I'm SO glad someone mentioned it, it's nothing mind-blowing but there's such good chemistry between the main characters, it's just a fun watch.
Don't feel bad or pressured if you like or don't like a movie. Love your content cause you got a personality and innocence (kind off😅) that reminds me of my son and kids in general that most adults have lost and it's great. I absolutely loved Werewolf by Night from last year. I was surprised how even though it was in black and white, and it was a Disney Marvel thing, it had some gory moments, and the best homages to classic monster films. Also, I have never seen Grimcutty, but why was the movie lowkey a Momo movie?

Our college took a bunch of people from the dorm to see The Batman and I was like "oh no a bunch of college kids in the theater is gonna totally ruin this." It was still an amazing film, and the only audience disruption was when we all cheered when Bat and Cat kissed.
YES! I've been waiting for this. For me the best movies of 2022 were The Batman, Sonic 2, Top Gun: Maverick and Everything Everywhere All At Once. All of those 4 movies were amazing and I can't wait for The Batman 2 and Sonic 3. Also there were some gems like The Northman, NOPE and Bullet Train

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is my actual favorite dreamworks movie I've seen. It's incredible and *(SPOILER ALERT)* Death is my favorite animated villian, and probably best villian ever. He's genuinely frightening and I honestly got chills every time he was on screen. I hear that whistle in my nightmares.
Dreamworks really looked at their past good villain characters and goes, "what if we put all of their good qualities into one character". Seriously tho, it feels like that. The fight scene went hard like Tai Lung, the emotional challenge he gave to the protagonist is like Shen, and a great entrance like Kai.

As someone who loved the Toy Story trilogy (i haven't seen the 4th 1 yet) and as someone who is bi, i refuse 2 watch the Lightyear movie. So far i heard barely anything aboot Strange World, but the very things it only negative. The Batman was a kewl movie, had a 1 or 2 very cringey things. Either Selina Kyle's cat burgler outfit was pretty bad though. 1st person who i hear being positive aboot Turning Red. I only hear negative or ppl trying ignore movie exist. The same is with Everything Everywhere All at Once. The Bad Guys, i heard a lot when movie was announced and than absolutely nothing until now. Scream 4 already was a parody commentary on requels, well sorta. Lots of ppl seem 2 forget that the Scream movies r parody commentary movies, they see it as normal slasher movies. I liked Dr Strange 2. Bruce Campbell scene was amazing. The Chip and Dale movie was so bad, it was insulting towards the origincal cartoons and the Rescue Rangers cartoon. A buddy and i were watching it and were asking for who did they try 2 make this movie, it can't be for kids or adults. The Bob's Burger movie is like the tv show but in movie form. Was a pretty fun movie, but something was missing though. I loved the DragonBall Super: Super Hero movie. I wonder how the manga "adaptation" version is going 2 be. Thor 4 is a better movie than the 2 before it. This 1 is stupid fun type movie. Bad adaptation though. The 3rd Thor movie had a lot of trailer jokes, either that movie butchered the Planet Hulk event, i loved that story arc. I saw the Beavis and Butthead, despite not liking the OG cartoon, as a buddy (same 1 as before) wanted 2 see it, despite he EITHER not liking the cartoon. The movie is ok. Rise of TMNT is such a awesome movie. I hope they make a sequel, what can be movie or tv show. From what i understand with Don't Worry Darling, what the creator intended 2 be the "bad guy' is actually the good guy in reality, the guy sounds so based. Werewolf by Night was a awesome movie, the only BIG downside is that the movie was waaaay 2 short. Halloween was hot garbage, a insult 2 the Halloween movies. Either the movie should've ended in a draw. The movie had indeed interesting ideas that it failed 2 excute proper. Black Adam was a boring movie. Atom Smasher and Cyclone were useless and poorly casts. The kid was annoying. Bad guy forgetable. Black Adam himself was not Black Adam, he either flipflop easy in movie. Hawkman and Dr Fate were good castings and done well. Black Panther 2 is much worse than the 1st movie, what was mid at best. Namor was so poorly done (i understand why changed origin, because of DC's Aquaman movies), but he wasn't Namor in the movie. Either his ppl should be blue always, it is even said in movie, but even movie flipflops on it when see them. Either Riri is supposed 2 be supersmart, the movie didn't show it (beside 1 moment in a 1 brain storming sension with Shuri), they only tell it. Either Shuri was much better in 1st movie, liked her a lot in that movie, although did like her scene with Killmonger. Still nowhere near as bad as the worst MCU movie though. I loved the Guardians Holiday special. It was so funny. I loved the misundertanding parts so much. I never had problems putting those movie theater 3D glasses on top of my glasses, still could see movie fine. But the movie did cost so much 2 make i doubt it ever woud've earned enough and that was BEFORE james cameron bigoted/dumb comments that he wanted 2 use as a excuse for movie never earning enough for it 2 be profitable.

You’re probably not gonna see this Adam, but I wanted to say something. Great video overall, but I have one small complaint, not about your opinions, but rather about a certain image featured in the video. As you said with the whole Grimcutty thing on how it was probably based on the whole Momo thing, I was part of that demographic that got fucking scarred by that shit, and I still forcefully look away and or close my eyes if I see the image, even though I’m 15 and have watched plenty of horror movies and games and stuff. The image showing up legit had me breathing like I had the Freddy Mask on from Fnaf 2. Call me a coward if you want, but I’d just appreciate it if you refrained from showing that image on screen again. Again, great video. Very fun watch aside from that image showing up, I just personally never want to see it and actively avoid things where I can maybe see it, and I’m sure there are at least a few other people who would like this. Halloween was hot garbage, a insult 2 the Halloween movies. Either the movie should've ended in a draw. The movie had indeed interesting ideas that it failed 2 excute proper.
Black Adam was a boring movie. Atom Smasher and Cyclone were useless and poorly casts. The kid was annoying. Bad guy forgetable. Black Adam himself was not Black Adam, he either flipflop easy in movie. Hawkman and Dr Fate were good castings and done well.
Black Panther 2 is much worse than the 1st movie, what was mid at best. Namor was so poorly done (i understand why changed origin, because of DC's Aquaman movies), but he wasn't Namor in the movie. Either his ppl should be blue always, it is even said in movie, but even movie flipflops on it when see them. Either Riri is supposed 2 be supersmart, the movie didn't show it (beside 1 moment in a 1 brain storming sension with Shuri), they only tell it. Either Shuri was much better in 1st movie, liked her a lot in that movie, although did like her scene with Killmonger. Still nowhere near as bad as the worst MCU movie though.
I loved the Guardians Holiday special. It was so funny. I loved the misundertanding parts so much.
I never had problems putting those movie theater 3D glasses on top of my glasses, still could see movie fine. But the movie did cost so much 2 make i doubt it ever woud've earned enough and that was BEFORE james cameron bigoted/dumb comments that he wanted 2 use as a excuse for movie never earning enough for it 2 be profitable.
I really liked See How They Run. I went in with very low expectations and a bad mood, and when I left I couldn't stop thinking about the reveal.
I went to watch the batman with my friend as a casual watch thinking it would just be a good movie but then left 3 hours later with it being the best movie I've ever seen

Granted, one made me sob more than the others (you probably know which one), but I still stand by my statement.

You’re probably not gonna see this Adam, but I wanted to say something. Great video overall, but I have one small complaint, not about your opinions, but rather about a certain image featured in the video. As you said with the whole Grimcutty thing on how it was probably based on the whole Momo thing, I was part of that demographic that got fucking scarred by that shit, and I still forcefully look away and or close my eyes if I see the image, even though I’m 15 and have watched plenty of horror movies and games and stuff. The image showing up legit had me breathing like I had the Freddy Mask on from Fnaf 2. Call me a coward if you want, but I’d just appreciate it if you refrained from showing that image on screen again. Again, great video. Very fun watch aside from that image showing up, I just personally never want to see it and actively avoid things where I can maybe see it, and I’m sure there are at least a few other people who would like this. Thank you, and you’re videos are great and always entertain me.
