Thanks for having this review! I was looking for an entry-level uke, to have as my own, but also have something familiar for a friend coming from out of town. Her uke is very special to her, and so she didnt want to travel with it, but i wanted to have something good for her to play, as well as learn myself. Having been someone who tried to learn guitar in my teenage years but gave it up, im excited to try again in learning a string instrument, as the only one i can do well is my voice!
@yeahdanny - that sounds great. I hope you enjoy learning the Uke. It is delightful to play. It is also very thoughtful of you to make a Ukulele available for your friends visit. May your enya bring you much joy! 🎶🎶
Hello, this was a wonderful demonstration of this pretty instrument. I own the little soprano in black and was surprised how nice it is for the price. Now I'm waiting for a good offer of the electric version because I would love to add some reverb and/or chorus to my playing. By the way… you had really beautiful sound samples. You should do a short of the strumming version as I couldn't see which chords you grabbed. Have a great time.
@Teeum5 - Hi Rici! I am with you on the electric version. I cannot believe they went twice the price just to have the electronics on there. It’s not like you can ever replace the battery either, once it goes it goes. but I definitely wanna try that reverb and chorus. You liked the strum part? I can put a short out for that. I have a hard time formatting shorts because of the editing software I am using… but I’ll give it a go.
Hi Mary, if shorts aren‘t easy you can skip it. I like both the strumming and the picking part- but the strumming would be easier to learn. Hope you‘re doing fine.
Thanks for this video. I have the white version of this ukulele. I find the action a little bit high, so I would like to know where you get a lowest saddle? Thanks for reply.
@marielue - I used the Miwayer Ukulele Real Bone 53mm Bridge Saddle. it brought the action down to 2.75 - the compensated version is better for intonation on the 12th fret but the regular one will work too as far as the action. hope this info proves useful. link to the saddle…. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HJRRWC9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@JRidgely - I was concerned about fret wear too as I saw some reviews where people experienced it, but my Uke has not shown any signs of this yet. These are also used in a group class I teach and none of those have shown wear yet either. So far so good.
@ perfect, I know when they first came out they were experiencing Fret wear. I have a few uks but wanting something I could toss in the car here in Florida and not worry about the heat warping it.
Just ordered one. Hopefully can be as good as you 1 day✌🏿
@zenobarnumv9504 - Congratulations on your new Enya nova Uke! I hope it brings you much playing enjoyment. Thank you for your kind comment. 🎶🎶
