I have the MAD tenor in blue for bout 6 months now. Best purchase I ever made. It sounds even sweeter as you continue to play it, and that fretboard is ridiculously comfortable. I wasn't sure about the idea of richelite as a material when I first ordered mine, but it's just so nice feeling when playing. It turned out to be one of my favorite features.

I love my Enya MAD! I recently added a low G and the sound is so mellow and amazing. I also love my Enya concert Nova. Enya makes a solid product!

I’ve been listening to your videos with the black enya and I absolutely loved the sound, even the sound where your fingers moved across the fret board, I was thinking it had to just the way you played it, or whee you had the mic set up but it’s actually the uke itself! I listened to Bernadette’s and Katie’s (spelling, one music school) reviews on this one, and I think it’s going to be my next upgrade choice for the concert uke. I was thinking that the white one you reviewed would be great for playing outside in the park where it wouldn’t get damaged by the humidity or weather. It does look like a toy but I think for that reason and the price, if it would get damaged from the elements, or wouldn’t be a huge loss as an investment and easier to replace.

How's the action on the Enya MAD? I am looking for a new ukulele with lower action and less tension on the strings because my current ukulele has high action and too much tension on the strings. I really love the look and sound of the Enya MAD, but I haven't been able to play it myself to check the tension.
No Other Heart in the background, i love it.

Thank you for the reviews. I am always impressed with the value of the Enya ukuleles although I’ve never played their more expensive models. The MAD definitely had a richer and more resonate sound.
You mentioned wanting to give some ukuleles away. Does this mean you’ll be starting the monthly challenges back up?? 😂

I purchased the Nova and should be getting it in the next few days. It is concert size, my last uke was a tenor. We’ll see how it works out.
What did you think of that OMS koa ukulele you play in the Alicia keys tutorial? About the same in quality as this mahogany?
I have all of them...the fiber Carbon sound's great and doesn't have any issues about weather temperature or dust and sounds really great but the surprise is the 25d because is very cheap cames out with a lot of accessories and sounds better and louder of the mad one

Would you prefer Enya MAD tenor or concert?
The first uke I got was the 25D concert with the beginner set in blue. The second is the MAD tenor in black and I love them both. I’m still a beginner and I enjoy your videos, especially with Plazi.
Just bought my 1st enya 250. It’ just got home last night … !!! I sure want the new enya one tenor in the black … I hope I can get it , and the red one and blossom s . I am in Canada . This is my hobby channel my everything one really . Any way. Thanks for showing . I can’t figure how to put the 2 batteries in I can’t get it ??? Will not turn on . So when I go to the city I will have to go to the music store for help . Take care . 2001

No, it comes with high G, but I changed the strings and currently it is a low G :)

Hey man, I love your content but can I ask why you twang the strings so hard? Your playing has always been great but the tone is just something that doesn't make sense to me, it's so harsh and I can't understand why you're going for that effect?

Of all of them, my least favorite is the Nova. The sound is too "jangly" for me. I don't care for the cutaway either. The MAD is beautiful and sounds mellow.

I m from brazil and i get really angry seeing this video a ukulele here the worts that is really worst its like R$100.00 that is EXPENSIVE my ukulele shelby SU-23R cost R$213,00 and only de ukulele with no bag i need to pay R$50.00 for a bag that it's not good.
