Very nice! Happy Holidays to you also
@mikestolz7199 - Glad you enjoyed it! It’s one of my fav holiday songs to play. Love mimicking the bells. 🎶🎶
Hi, beautiful sound. Did you buy A strings and tune the guitar in G?
@1viccar - Hi, I glad you enjoyed! Yes, I’m using the A strings for all the tunings in the comparison on this mini. 🎶🎶
@@fretfrontier Thank you,
Just ordered one. Hopefully can be as good as you 1 day✌🏿
@zenobarnumv9504 - Congratulations on your new Enya nova Uke! I hope it brings you much playing enjoyment. Thank you for your kind comment. 🎶🎶
Very nice :)
@jonlbs7 - I am so glad you liked it! Thank you for watching. 🎶🎶
Do you know what type of strings should I purchase for the cordoba mini II? Not sure if standard strings work
@MateoMusico - Yes, standard will work. You could put your favorite on it most likely. They come from the factory with these: Savarez Cristal Corum High Tension 500CJ. But I replace them with: Augustine Classic Black Set, Low Tension Classical Guitar Strings - because they are easier on my hands and they don’t squeak as much on the basses.
@fretfrontier thank you so much
This is great, so I can practice the chords for a little while and can‘t go on to playing chord melody as i usually would. And in the wnd I couldn‘t play the song at all. Have a great sunday…
@Teeum5 - Thanks, i’m glad it is helpful! I like to know what the underlying chords are and where I want to place them before I add the melody. In the end, you get two ways to play the song. You end up with the option to do a sing-a-long with it because you know all the chords, then you also have a stand-alone solo finger-style option. 😃
Just got my fmh mini ii in the mail from pawn America for 99.99 shipped. Wow! This thing is amazing. I’ve got 45 guitars or more and this is what I’ve chosen to take with me on my motorcycle next season. Just gotta build a case for it and mount it on my bike. If anyone has a lead on a hard case that is road worthy… hit me up. Great video here at FF. Subscribed!
@backwoodsfreak - Congratulations on the new mini and your upcoming motorcycle adventures! I’m with you on that hard shell case lead… Finding one has so far been like the riddle of the Sphinx. I miss the olden days when a fitted hard shell case was always an option. Thanks for subscribing! 🎶🎶
@@fretfrontierjust so happens that my bridge has started lifting and the crossmember/braces have separated from the top. So my adventures with my Cordoba are over until I can steam that bridge off and reset it after the braces are glued back down. Thankfully I’ve got some winter left for that to happen and hopefully the active project with this will magically bring the energy needed to stumble upon that hard shell case we were talking about. If I find a good lead on a case I’ll keep yall posted. Cheers
@backwoodsfreak - yikes! Will the place that you bought it make good on it? You’ve hardly even had it a couple weeks. Ugh. So I’ve had instruments where the bridge lifted but not the soundboard braces. What a project. I hope the situation is quickly resolved.
How nice, Mary.
@Teeum5 - Hi! Glad you enjoyed it! Tutorial upcoming if interested. Happy Holidays! 🎄

Wow. the Gretsch is really something. Just purchased the Cordoba mini!!!
@jennifermateyabram8480 - Congratulations on your new mini! I hope it brings you much playing enjoyment. 🎶🎶
YOU'RE AMAZING! A wonderful teacher, and at last something for baritone. I've learned so much in just the first few parts. You make it understandable, doable and lots of fun. Thank you for taking the time to put these tutorials together, and sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Thank you for the kind words, I’m glad you are enjoying the lessons and rocking the delightful baritone Uke! Your comment brightened my day. 🎶🎶
Have you noticed any fret wear?
@JRidgely - I was concerned about fret wear too as I saw some reviews where people experienced it, but my Uke has not shown any signs of this yet. These are also used in a group class I teach and none of those have shown wear yet either. So far so good.
@ perfect, I know when they first came out they were experiencing Fret wear. I have a few uks but wanting something I could toss in the car here in Florida and not worry about the heat warping it.
@JRidgely - Yes, agreed. This little guy is a hearty traveler. If you get one, I hope it brings you much playing enjoyment!
Does the thumb maintain the same position for all four strings?
@mikestolz7199 - the thumb will stay behind the 2nd finger or even a little between the 2nd & 3rd. This helps keep the hand from angling or pitching the fingers toward the headstock which again would make them shorter. However the thumb may move down or closer to the floor as the fingers in front of the neck are moving closer to the ceiling (strings 3 & 4). This will help the fingers clear the string beneath the one being played. If this causes the wrist to bend at a sharp angle then pitch the neck upward more at a 45 degree angle to help relieve that bend to maintain good circulation. I hope that helps. 🎶🎶
@@fretfrontier thank you, i'll give it a shot

We are keeping the beat and letting the singer hear the 'tonal center' which is the key and chord that goes with the lyric they are performing. Hope you enjoy.

Oh, these apps seems to be quite helpful. Hope you’re doing fine. Greetings from the other side of the world 👋
Hi Rici! Happy autumn, hope all is well with you too! Thanks for watching. 🎶🎶
Did you heard any significant difference in tone, between this "all laminated" mahogany VS "top solid" other version?
@Onyxyoutube-p7t. Yes, they sound different but mostly because of the Tonewood instead of the laminate vs solid. The MH is all laminated and I actually prefer its sound over the EB which has the solid top. However, since the EB has the cutaway and the electronics, I play that one way more. But keep in mind that they both take nylon strings and they are smaller bodies so they’re not gonna be as loud as a full-size steel string guitar if you’re playing with other people. You’ll need to bring one of those little mini amps like the little honey tone to project the same volume. Hope that info helps.
Excuse me maam, can we attach this cordoba mini II with steel guitar string? 🙏🏻 I really curious about that...
@onyxyoutube-p7t Hi, nylon only. This one is the regular mini so it is smaller than the mini II And you can order strings, especially for it that are a little shorter. I always get the strings that say they are for A tuning But then tune them to E so that the tension is lighter. On the mini two, you can use any kind of nylon string that you like. You cannot use steel strings on either of these. it will be too much for the guitar. Hope that info helps.
Thought bridge was the bone bit strings rest on and saddle ,wood housing stuck to the body 😊uk
Just a humble feedback n opinion.....your key is too low madame...it prevents you from singing the proper tune.. I think Am is more brighter.
If the screen gets fuzzy in the first few seconds please just hit refresh to fix the display. It’s an intermittent issue, not sure why. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for watching.
Sounded best with the rubber string u bass, thanks for your time effort and talent.👍♥️🎸👍
@markkeeler584 - agreed, love those rubber strings! thank you for watching and for your kind comment. 🎶🎶
thank you for this!
@Drumguitarman - Thank you for watching!
what strings do you use on the cedar guitar?
@edokaric4727 - Augustine Classic Black Set, Low Tension Classical Guitar Strings (the package is black, not the actual trebles). They are my favorite string because low tension along with low action work for my playing style, and the base strings tend to be quiet (not much hiss from the wound bases) even when they are first new. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching! 🎶🎶
Hello I am looking for a woman online instructor for the baritone ukulele, and I was wondering. Do you do any teaching online
@denisemccleese3895 - Hi, I’m so glad you found the channel! thank you for your kind inquiry, but I am not teaching individual lessons at this time. I will let you know if that changes. I hope you find the baritone instruction posted here helpful. please enjoy the tabs!

this is great info. Although I have been playing for ages, this is just not computing. Can you recommend another of you tutorials that would be a good intro to the tabs and blues...
@brettschneider2908 - Hi, do you mean how to work with the tabs? If you give me an idea of where you are getting stuck, I will try to make a recommendation.
Great to see you back!
