Good to see you back Mary! I liked the video, it seemed too complicated until i watched you do it. thank you for sharing your expertise with us. Wally can be a little stinker at times can't he?
@mikestolz7199 - Hi Mike, I’m glad it was helpful! Wally helps me stay quick on the draw that’s for sure. 😼 He surprised me with that saddle heist though. 🤣
Hi Mary, how cute your cat is working with you. Thanks for sharing this video. I haven‘t done a lot on setting up any of my instruments as I have no idea what to do so this is a good starting point for me. I found that even on my expensive Hawaiian ukes the tone is not quite on pitch on lower frets, e.g. on the third or fourth fret. Is this a problem of the hight of the saddle as well? Have a great time and best wishes from your UH buddy Rici.
@Teeum5 - Wally was cracking me up with the: I have 3mil cat toys but it’s this Uke saddle that I REALLY need antic. it’s like you buy a kid a toy, and they want to play with the box! 🤣 On the Uke, is it in tune at the 12th Fret? if it is off at the 12th then a compensated saddle should help. when it is off on just a random Fret somewhere on the neck, it could be the symptom of a Fret that is raising.

This was really helpful, as was the comment about the raised fret. And I’m craving some noodles now too 😂
