He always doing stuff like that, a few months before the release of Jade, he "asked" Rebecca Ford, current creative director of Warframe if warframe can get pregnant.
16:26 tbf, players (mostly veteran) at that time were curious and collectively decided to actually let Vay Hek destroy one of the relays (Larunda relay), at which some of the players were against choosing that relay (at that time new player's quest begin at Mercury so the relay is actually a relay where new players come in looking for help). All this is was to check is DE really gonna let players destroy stuff or is this gonna be some health decay stuff, but unexpectedly DE did deliver and Vay Hek destroyed the relay. Main reason why I think the G3 and bolt issue was not used more (especially on the players) is due in part to how bad it was for some new players back in the day. For many vets that remember, Warframe has come lightyears from when it was released and some of those things had to be changed for the better of the players. Things such as: - Each frame had four lives that only regenerated daily. If you lost all your lives, you couldn't play that frame unless you coughed up the platinum for extra lives. - The main damage mods we had access to were (from what I heard) random all over the sol system at first, then they changed them where they mostly dropped on the later planets like Pluto, Saturn and the like. Well before the broken mods they added for new players. - Newbies started on Mercury instead of Earth and worked our way outward, which isn't that big of a deal until newbies hit the Interception node that literally gated off the rest of the system. -Some of the resources required to build the bolt remover was only available on planets after Earth. So factor in all those things, a Newbie player could potentially run a public group and run into the G3 in any of the Grineer controlled maps, get bolted, and would be crap out of luck if they are not able to either put down money to buy the resources or if other players don't help them farm / taxi them to the planets with the resources due to Interception-gate on Earth. I still remember when I got jumped the first time from the G3. Was a MR1 Mag, still with the basic gear and jumped into a public mission on Mercury. G3 showed up and I didn't know what was happening, other than some mob spawned on top of me and breathed on me and I dropped. Later on had the issue of getting bolted because I had ran the invasion missions for stuff and they happened to jump me when I was solo farming. Oh and for anyone wondering what the Interception-gate thing is I keep bringing up, best way to describe it is to take Interception, make spawn number and rates of enemies dependent on the Host's PC, and then make the levels of the mobs be at least +10 for the basic while elites would be +20 and spawn in packs. Some might see this as a good thing, till you realize that having a beefy rig (or playing solo) and being a newbie player without access to gear, mods, and frames that can handle such amounts were far beyond newbie reach without money or player intervention. We had some vets taxing players to far out nodes so they can farm while working their way back to the center, gifting newbies Prime weapons and frames they could use while taxing them to the planets where they can get the resources to farm, or setting up Interception runs where the host had potato PCs while another vet brought their nuke everything setup and would snatch up newbies to run the mission and exit after the first round. Only reason any of this ever got fixed was because DE finally took the challenge players set forth where they would run Interception with a newbie account instead of their Dev account. They got wrecked so bad they finally understood what most people were talking about, which led to all Interceptions being moved to optional nodes on the map and the wonderful revamp they released.

Yknow, when i first played the game all those years back, and saw his icon on the side of the screen, i thought those little things on the side of his head were arms, like Modok. To this day i cant unsee that. In my brain vay hek is still just a little guy.
As of about 2 yrs ago I can say with certainty. The relays can still be destroyed. But. Also. There's a really rare seasonal event. Where you donate to and defend a previously destroyed relay as it's being rebuilt. The relays don't often get destroyed cus enough people participate that it's not a threat anymore. And I think relays only get rebuilt if one gets destroyed
14:27 you do know that the two you compare there actually hate each others guts right? Those two only work together because they serve the same person, which is why they have no trouble finishing each other off (and take their power, megaman style) if you kill one of them.
I was more so referring to how one starts fighting harder after the other goes down, but yeah I can see your point as well and I probably could have phrased that better (I also might have had the version of them in my head from the Dark Sauce animations if you've seen those lol).
Oh, I made him say that when I took Oberon into a Formorian core theft mission. He went from arrogantly boasting about his Grineer killing me, to panicking and threatening to kill his Grineer, to offering me a ceasefire agreement between the Corpus and Grineer, to overthrowing the Queens, to offering a hug. All because he had soo many troops firing at me and the core, that Oberon's Renewal kept restoring the core as it got hit, so it was always at 100% health. I was laughing with tears by the end of the mission listening to his chatter.
I mean, the Trial missions were removed because they were really buggy and unpopular and weren't completely different gameplay like Conclave, but just more complicated versions of stuff we already had, so the devs decided they were too much of a drain on dev resources and removed them. I think it's basically been retconned lorewise, cause part of the dialog in it no longer applies to the way the game is set up. The Grineer Settlement tileset used to be on Phobos, so the dialog said he fled to there, but that tileset was eventually moved to be located on Mars to coincide with Inaros and Baro Ki Teer's stories... and also to fit better with the looks of the area. They never rerecorded the Lotus' dialog about Phobos in Law of Retribution though, and eventually removed the trials entirely.

This is insane. I looked up your channel a couple days ago to check if you uploaded any Warframe content, and you hadn’t… but here you are. Good stuff buddy! The Grineer, the myth, the legend, Vay Hek! 👨🏻🍳🤌🏼
Perfect timing then! lmao I post when you least expect it.
The badger meme is so perfectly used
"Its...beautiful...its so beautiful...KILL IT!"
Weve been waiting
There's so much lore I missed out on by joining in late.
Ya'know, while we're doing time travel with 1999, can we go back and snatch Vay Hek's wig? It would serve on my Grendel.
We need the cosmetic now DE!!!
I called him a roasted turkey.
pov: you pass the mouse on earth
Can't wait for Mr. "TENNO THE TUUUUUUBEMEN"
He ain't so scary without his flashing lights and armor.
11:00 Bro absolutely cooked him omg 💀🤣
The loremaster awakens once more
WHY ARE THIS MAGGOTS BREATHING MY AIR
-Vay Hek
8:26 I don’t see a single bit of credit to the Russian badger anywhere for the original bit
Top left corner
@ oh ok didn’t see it
Honestly I was kind of expecting then I expected but anyways
Him and alad v are pretty much basically sort of the most recurring characters we had to deal with on a regular basis and after the new or we never know what happened to those guys they went MIA after the new war
I reminded myself of the twins during my karl missions (does just imagine the players reactions same goes with wolf of Saturn 6)
Yeah there's a lot of things I would like to see in the aftermath but for now 1999 is coming and other things
Yknow, when i first played the game all those years back, and saw his icon on the side of the screen, i thought those little things on the side of his head were arms, like Modok. To this day i cant unsee that. In my brain vay hek is still just a little guy.
Lol and now I can't unsee it!
@corgthemighty happy to help :P
Its Mr. Potato head of Warframe.
Neat never knew about the tower in cetus
TENNO, ARE YOU READY TO MAKE SACRIFICES?
GLISTENING MAGNIFICENCE
14:27 you do know that the two you compare there actually hate each others guts right? Those two only work together because they serve the same person, which is why they have no trouble finishing each other off (and take their power, megaman style) if you kill one of them.
I was more so referring to how one starts fighting harder after the other goes down, but yeah I can see your point as well and I probably could have phrased that better (I also might have had the version of them in my head from the Dark Sauce animations if you've seen those lol).
Anyone remember when uncle Vay Hek just want to hug us? Peperidge farm remembers
THEY JUMPING ME THEY JUMPING ME SAVE YA BOIIIII!
Peak use of Russian Badger skit
Speaking of Vay Hek, wonder when Koumei will come into the picture for him :)
