Mmmmm tasty cement drinmk so filling and yummnie
Bet yer surprised to see another upload so soon from the previous one. I dunno - I got bit by the hyper-motivation bug. Also helps that I really enjoy the newest update as well
So uhhhhhhhhh, enjoye the quick vidyort upload for once lads. Love you all (pseudo-romantically)
could you release a short with your "recommended build"? I'm interested in the 105% Strength
boss fight? the hard one?
You sir are my kind of idiot
cement drinking is the key to fast uploads
What the fuck is this.
I expect these uploads when the next frame releases. Get your shit together and wait a few more months
Qorvex was designed by Alberetch to protect the operator from the radiation inside the facilities, and concrete is one of the best ways to shield from radiation
Concrete can shield one from radiation? I thought only lead could do that?
@@opusmagnus26 Lead is better, but concrete is one of the more generic ways of doing it. Not the best but it works
@@opusmagnus26 literally anything can block radiation, lead and concrete are just very dense and so very optimal for blocking radiation
No... concrete isn't great at blocking radiation, water and lead (especially if you have anything like a nuclear reactor in those labs you need water or plastic)
@@donovandelozier7156 Its not great, but its the next best thing, you cant use water cause it moves everywhere and you just cant take lead with you to contain rad stuff is heavy.
Concrete is the next best thing, can be kept as a powder till its needed, cheap, and can last awhile to cover areas till a better thing comes around to help like lead. Plus thats what they did for the 'coffin' in chernobyl, its just one big concrete house on the worst rad site.
Edit: Oh and its easier to build with, you try building a big cover of lead for a place like the chernobyl reactor, that is not easy and would be too heavy that it will collapse. Concrete works better in this area. I would not be shock if Qorvex does get a bit from this. A concrete frame housing Rad so strong that even it cant hold it in too much.
While his powers are questionable, the Geiger counter sound effect on his abilities are *chef's kiss*
Had a guy in a Hydron lobby tell a Qorvex "I work with radioactive materials for my day job and that sound made my heart STOP"
Everyone except the Qorvex player thought that was hilarious, he just felt really bad (dude was all "no, no, it's cool, just sharing lmao")
I saw this comment, and was curious if his abilities were questionable, assuming that meant questionably good. So here I am, 4 weeks later, with an unnecessary amount of Forma put into the concrete Chernobyl frame. Yeah he strong
I have played Qorvex for a while and honestly… I can’t see myself subsuming any of his abilities, all the kit SOMEHOW works, it’s like an antique chair that looks uncomfortable yet after sitting on it for a while you realize that it’s actually very comfy.
@@bonelesschickennuggets1868 My main issue is Containment Wall isn't a wide sweep into the slam.
@@lucasfraczek4320 Yeah, it’s a bit clunky to use but the inherent long range and the fact that it can phase through walls makes it a bit of a trade off imo (also the Augment is a perfect complement for the kit)
But the thing SHOULD adapt to elevation properly, as it stands it only does it through stairs…
a ferro fluid frame would be so cool, like watching it shape and morph its body to use its abilities, could 100 percent see people doing venom fashion with it
A T-1000 frame would be cool
I’m honestly surprised we don’t have a warframe based on gambling yet
Mmm 19 inches mmmmmmmmm
It'd have to be a magnetic based frame
@@Illia_Lost what, like random chance effects for abilities? like its 4 is either really good or really bad? could be funny, really hard to balance though
Hey Trib, the reason Qorvex is made of concrete is because concrete is extensively used for anything radioactive to help reduce the intensity of radiation. So a radioactive frame that is made of concrete actually makes perfect sense.
Also it seems stupid obvious that Qorvex has a nuclear reactor theme that he somehow didn't pick up on!
He's not very bright when it comes to the warframe concepts.
It's still a mix of Atlas and Oberon. Qorvex's first ability could have been given to Oberon and it would look good on his kit, while his second ability would have been given to Atlas because it suits the rock kit.
Qorvex is undeniably their lovechild
@@StellarElite1 I am surprised that close to nobody realize that when it is shown on devstream
I saw that people on Twitter were complaining about his old passive being redundant since all of his abilities give radiation procs. Pablo agreed on that so they changed it to what we have rn.
Twitter once again ruins everything
@@-t-boxmasterofthewardrobeo4397I hope Twitter dies soon. Adding Radiation to weapons would've been awesome.
The fact Twitter ruined it makes me mad. Like I don't care if it's redundant, gimme free rad.
Womp womp
Use mods for that then.@@BunBros
Qorvex being made out of concrete actually makes sense, since to bury radioactive waste, we bury it in concrete
You know they're capable of vertically extending his walls cause they did it for Gara's 4
Garas walls were a simple transparent barrier, not a full 3d texture
@@OldSpaghettifactory89 There's no need to change the model mesh to make it taller (not like it's impossible anyway), DE can also just grab the entire model and scale it up. A thicker wall showing up for a second won't disrupt gameplay in a game in which you're already blind by all kinds of explosions and effects going on constantly.
@@Maverick2736 Or literally just copy-paste a second or third one on top of the other ones.
@@fusrosandvich3738 And then clip them into ground)
@@fusrosandvich3738 That would actually be even better, yeah. Would look cooler, too.
His pillar can also be overcharged by his fully charged archgun shot, which kinda helps with his passive because you can overcharge the pillar with the charged shot then shoot them through the cloud thing to buff the uncharged shot for the buff it does
Also lets you overcharge with subsume!
Sure but good luck keeping the archgun up all the time with how shit their ammo economy is
@@ZwavelAzijn I've kept it up for an entire hour long steelpath mission, you just can't use it like a normal gun, and with Qorvex just use it to buff his pillars in case you are worried about energy
Hi, works for real? can i use another warframe with Mandonel and Helmith Pillars? i wanna farm Mandonel and Qorvex(+ The Fortuna "hell" stading) just for this

I like how hes so creative in design.
Its a radioactive core contained in a concrete casket, like NRG from ben 10, but bulkier
I was thinking atomix, mainly because his appearance.
@coma2726 him too, but I rarely even seen him on the show so I kinda forgot about him.
Not to mention rng got big boy laser
I get what they were going for with the Passive. It SEEMS like it was meant to interact with his 2nd Ability. Basically, you funnel enemies into a single line, and shoot theough all of them. Did it work out being powerful? No, but this is DE we're talking about. Quirky Idea trumps Good Design every day of the week.
2 true
His passive should've been enemies being afflicted with a stack of radiation while being near him. And his second ability should've been absorbing health and armor strip on enemies affected with radiation.
It could've been that "on punch through, deal increased damage in successive hits" with that bonus still
@@jerrychicks2420so (reworked) hydroid 2 radiation-boogaloo
@@ethanpadwick6943 Basically. Either that or he can absorb the radiation and turn it into energy 🤷🏿♂️
9:45 Trib this is fucking massive thank you so much, I can’t believe no one else has discovered this
It was actually already pretty well known if you're paying attention to the discussion around the frame at all.
very proud of you for getting this out before we even forget there was a new frame
My suggestion for containment wall is make range increase it’s width instead of length. So as you stack range it can hit bigger rooms.
Make range spawn more walls and multicrush
@@lagosertergaming3835 that might be a bit to much the walls don’t do much dmg so they’re only really useful for the vulnerability on enemy’s
I think they are keeping narrow for 2 reasons. prevent a potential room nuke ability. and to better "fit" with the game's wide range of tiles and geometry.
His passive works pretty well with his 2 since it lines up a bunch of enemies to get punched throughed. Been getting some nice results with my Tigris after like 4 years of neglect lol
Kulervos signature weapon is better more ammo, faster reload, better firing speed, and has the same damage and is a good status shotgun
The "10% Chance Per Status" on his 3 means that the chance of gaining a Disometric Guard stack depends on the number of Radiation stacks affecting the enemy on kill.
Radiation status caps at 10 stacks, so 10 stacks have a 100% chance of granting a DG stack, while 5 stacks have a 50% chance of granting a DG stack.
I too love the idea of a Ferrofluid frame, but the fact that Qorvex is concrete makes me want a frame based on Neon and Video, aka the other Infamous Second Son powers (I'm gonna say Ash is smoke)
Your a goat for knowing and referencing those games
Hells YES, they could be fortuna frames that are a pair like Grendel and Gauss, that would be so dope!! Also, by that logic, origami frame too maybe?
@@Ms.Mayhem99 YEEEEEEA
@@neptuneplayz2567 Why thank you
Video frame for 1999?
So fun thing about crucible blast, after looking into it im pretty sure the detonations are calculated where every new enemy in the chain adds one more potential blast in the chain on every enemy, since with a quick short beam tap i got 2 on a single foe, 6 on 2, 12 on 3, and at 4 i just counted 5 on a single enemy. You can easily see why it goes insane at 20 enemies since thats at least 420 blasts.
Another thing of note is the chain reactions scale in damage every time they detonate, possibly whats happening is the bonus damage from rad procs is added again every time it re detonates in some way but as you said in your video shit is not explained or clear.
So it works like a nuclear fission? that's pretty cool
Trib being up to date on a frame vid unheard of
Edit and i think his passive is a reference to radiation needing a certain amount of material to stop it like you need x feet of concrete to stop radiation to exceed its wavelength
Passive is meant to be comboed with his 2.
The wall is a unique grouping as it lines up enemies rather than bunching them up. It's quite powerful and makes him a great DPS frame, one of the best for single (now "AOE") target weapons
Use it with Perigale of Phenmor
Plus, I think it ties into his theme by referencing depleted uranium rounds.
First time Trib has ever been caught up on frames. Is this the New Year’s Resolution? Also, very happy to see you upload again!
I mean this frame is relatively simple to review and from what I've seen of him he really isn't that good so him being quick here with Qorvezz makes sense

This whole update gives The Room and Control vibes.
The frame is concrete because it's in keeping with the theme of the void being nothing but radioactive rocks and dust and the Great Indifference... I think.
A Ferrofluid frame thats a cross between mag and frost would be cool, literally. Imagine grineer and corpus having to struggle through a magnetic swamp of armor-stripping, shield-destroying goo while you just sit and laugh
Cross between Mag, Frost, and Hydroid, then? Or at least, the Puddle™?

Yeah, pretty much
I had to rewatch this video after NovaUmbral's horrible take on Qorvex's lazer beam
i love the vampire survivor ost inserted as u speak about enemy quantity, i feel that in my soul
I keep hearing people misinterpret pablo.
His old passive was terrible, as it only did radiation STATUS! Not damage!
Pablo would never call added damage redundant, and DE does not add damage into a passive without some kind of caveat.
Edit: sorry for yelling, i've been feustrated with this for a while, and i get fixated on things.
Now that i think on it, his old passive isnt all that bad when you put it in context with his 3. It would make ANY weapon he used proc radiation, making building/maintaining his 3 easier. But his 3 doesnt do a whole lot so not much of a problem.
@@jordanfox6354it also gave Condition Overload effects a jumpstart which would be an issue in regards to balance, especially considering his 3 and 4.
yep.. that opening bit sums up Qorvex perfectly. now we wait for the "Art."
Chyrinka Pillar is apparently named after Cherenkov (Soviet sciencist who helped explain the phenomenon of radioactive materials emitting a peculiar blue glow in water solutions or when submerged under water), so unless The Canadians say otherwise, my Slav ass would guess that you're supposed to pronounce it like "Cheer-inka" (Ch/Ч in Cherenkov/Черенков is a "tch" sound, like in "cheer").
Sharingan Pillar is also funny tho.
Great vid, love the editing especially considering how quick you got it out
I kinda like the synergy between his walls putting enemies into a line and his passive being really good at shooting lines of enemies. It’s a very niche use case but it’s still fun
loving the upload frequency trib! as well as the skit at the beginning 💀
Came here from NovaUmbral as a palate cleanser after he built strength on Qorvex and called him shit
you literally have to now that armor bypass isnt a mechanic anymore on radiation. the status was nerfed since whispers in the walls which makes strength more important
new trib vid already? now THIS is a christmas gift
I like to believe he's not quite concrete, rather he's made of the stone found in the murmur.
i waited a few days after this video came out because i genuinely thought i was hallucinating that a vid was made in a timely manner. keep up the solid work, sfm gamer.
Okay so, my ONLY complaint with Qorvex: his 2 should either have like, 4x the damage vulnerability or be an armor strip (ideally 50% at rank 4). If it was slightly better at reducing enemy defense, Qorvex would be AMAZING
Well, they must have read your comment.
They will add a mod to boost the 3 ability with armor strip
as a resident factorio concrete muncher, this frame makes me want to return to this game
A Trib frame video that's actually up to date with the current frame is such a nice thing to see again. Now you just have to review Citrine.
Although there haven’t been a high quantity of videos, we can tell the time and effort put in is enough.
Trib you're such a goldmine of funny and informative, such a great blend. Thank you for explaining wth is going with "The Rad Rock" Jr., truly thought i was doing something wrong with his powers, especially against the Murmur! So im glad now we can play him correctly even though he definitely needs some QOL updates. Also...
Oberon, Atlas? We got to talk cause that image is NOT going away.
oberon was definetly the bottom.
Let’s take Chernobyl, and make a frame out of it
From what I remember in testing, the pillars hit by crucible blast cannot bypass its innate limit of 10 explosions on a given enemy. If you have two enemies near each other and hit them with the beam, they will each explode 10 times, chaining off of each other. It you out down a pillar and hit it with the beam, the enemies still explode at most 10 times. This may have changed since I tested, which was on launch day
What if Qorvex dealt more damage against enemies affected by Radiation instead
thats what topaz shards are for
Isn’t that just viral
@@Bonikial viral is bonus damage to health, topaz is bonus to everything. Ofc, why not both? Now which applies when in the math is another question
rework idea:
Passive: Entrati Chain: Applying Radiation status has a 10% chance to cause Crucible Blast explosions.
Chyrinka Pillar: Forms a pillar that slows and damages, both affected by strength. Being hit by another of Qorvex's abilities grants the pillar those properties. Forms up to 3 pillars.
Containment Wall: Triburos' idea of cone, but the wall instead extends upwards. Overcharging Chyrinka Pillars with this grants the pillar damage vulnerability to enemies.
Wrecking Wall: stays the same. Mainly cause I haven't played around with it yet.
Disometric Guard: Status immunities, but each brick grants 5% DR, up to 90%. Overcharging Chyrinka Pillars grants the pillar status cleansing to allies within range.
Crucible Blast: Instead of a chest beam, it will instead generate a 15m blast that deals radiation and chain explosions. Overcharging Chyrinka Pillars grants the pillars Chain Explosions.
@@elementall3623thats actually cool dude, but, damn, I'd keep the chest beam, it is (for me) pretty *r a d*
4:29 I can’t stop laughing
i love my croptop wearing bara tiddied concrete himbo husband
Personally I'd love to see the walls actually create aoe pockets, like every 15 meters drag enemies to that spot, would help group enemies for crucible blast better while keeping them in small enough pockets that his punch through passive still... Well anyway either that or let us summon towers from a distance and have the wall create a vacuum atound the towers on hit.
It's been a year. Containment Wall DID get an augment, but it only serves to Armor strip enemies and refreshes the durations of Chyrinka Pillars.
Had to come back here after UmbralNova's take o Qorvex. Holy shit what a difference.
that was a very good video, appreciate your work 👍
Lerros-The Ferro Fluid Warframe
Passive- Restructure Resupply
Lerros and allies that come in contact with his abilites gain extra armor, regen health, regen ammunition.
1st power- Mirror Spikes
Shoot out an orb of ferro fluid that creates an expanding pool that degrades enemy resistances and armor and deals repeated puncture damage. shooting an enemy replicates the damage to any others in the pool. allies gain a movement and action speed buff when passing through..
2nd power- Slip wall
Create a horizontal wall of ferro fluid that blinds enemies that pass through it while granting allies an armor buff.
3rd power- Splash Guard
Create a burts of ferro fluid centered on yourself, knocking enemies away while temporarly granting yourself and allies ferro fluid shields that absorb damage to add to your next cast of a power.
4rd power- Ferro Surge
Turn into a large surge of ferro fluid dragging enemies with you as you travel forward in a flood of ferro fluid, stripping armor, shields, and amping your walls or pools for a short period you come in contact with.

props to you for a great video within a week of the frame coming out
The walls put things in a line, then you use a gun to shoot them and makes shotguns into pseudo aoe weapons with the right high power builds and steelpath.
Holy fucking shit 5(?) days between videos, BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT.
I think his 2 should scale horizontally with range as well. I think that would be nice and make me use more
It definitely should reach down but i think it not hitting flying enemies isnt much of an issue. There arent many enemies that fly and most tiles/rooms have low ceilings.
@@jordanfox6354 I mean horizontally as in the gap between the walls. Like if the current is 5 meters wide it should scale with range up to 10m or so. The only place I see the vertical range being helpful would be on deimos

Worth comparing Gara’s 4 to how Qorvex’s 2 should work. When cast in the air, the walls appear at that elevation and just extend all the way to the ground
WHAT? A VIDEO ALREADY? THE LORD HAS BLESSED US WITH HIS PRESENCE 6 MONTHS EARLY
I already know they are gonna add a augment for the pillars where you can put down 4 pillars but with a lower range and no slow effect like the zephyr 4 augment
Qorvex is literally just the US Marine of all the warframes he looks and plays like he eats play doh and snorts crayon powder
4 and pillar synergy was talker about in the devstream, strange that they didn't write abnout it in the game somewhere, also I belive they didn't make the 4th a channel ability because of wisp...
Not the first time, DE rather infamously forgot to tell anyone that Nova's Null Stars give DR, and it wasn't 'discovered' until it came up in a later devstream iirc.
YYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSS HE FINALYY UPLOADED IN TIME AND DIDNT TAKE A YEAR BETWEEN UPLOADS.
keep up the good work
Ide say his 2 is fine just got to make it a bigger suck and also drag enemies in the middle. 1 more reason to use Phenmor/Nataruk/Lex incarnon/Dual toxocyst incarnon/Phantasma prime. Anything that penetrates through a lot. If only his 1 had more range. it can best pared with 2 instead of subsuming a grouping ability or using Nauttilus just to make it so it would be a semi quadratic scaling.
Qorvex is more of a Gun platform than anyone might think since his abilities support punch through for his 2 and priming enemies for his 1+4. It's almost like he can make better use of Epitaph than the frame it's meant for since hold fire and tap fire basically does what he needs.
Am I the only one who thinks me time traveler man looks like he’s trying to pull off a JJBA cosplay?
I was actually playing around with the idea of a nuclear radiation frame, his ultimate beating a circular AOE channel that blasts enemies with radiation. Leaving behind a large fallout area that synergyses with his other abilities. No kidding, when qorvex came out, it kinda freaked me how similar it was!
My thoughts on this were that an ult would be a massive nuclear blast, at the cost of downing yourself. Scaling based on health and energy consumed.
@@lackofcheese344 Hmmm, downing is harsh, especially if your playing solo. Though I did post a frame concept r/Warframe with a high nuke ult that took away a large % of health. No self healing abilities to balance out the nuke being super strong. Sooo, great minds and all I guess, haha!
woah a video on time with frame release! crazy

Holy fucking shit triburos upload within a reasonable amount of time from the update? Preposterous!!!
SHOW US THE QORVEX WEARING THE CROP TOP.
Also God I love the Qorvex just nulls all status effects. I love him.
Further notes: His 1 and 3 has augment potential... but I need to say, I'd vastly prefer a Qorvex teammate. If his 3 is subsumable, I'd say it's not worth it.
I think that's it. And... I think I might build Qorvex. He seems nice as a frame.
Don't play Warframe anymore, but I still love to hear you talk (and gripe) about it :)
Damn Trib finally caught up. For once
Triburos - LET ME SIT ON THEM AND SPIN!!!
My mind - Thinking back to every time ive sat on one of those rolling office chairs and spun.
Honestly, Our new concrete bust of Anatoly Dyatlov has one glaring issue in my eyes, and that's his 3 not giving any health regen, I mean seriously! He has a metric fuckton of health and armor, but nothing on his kit to bring it back up! The rest of his shit is serviceable, damage vulnerability is always fun and his explosive death pillar is obviously powerful CC and room-clearing with his 4.
All in all, I rate Qorvex 3.6/5, Not great, not terrible.
My guess is shards may be playing a part in that one or two blue shards and you're good.
@@masonwilliams1345 why would i want my concrete mixer man to shard his pants?
3:57 the funny thing is grendels regurgitate has a base 6 meter radius meanwhile xaku has a permanent 12 meter base range strip and pillage basically cover a whole tileset
The reason he is concrete is because he has a nuclear reactor in him and concrete is used to stop meltdowns and is used as a outer shell also his old passive sounded like he was leaking rads
Concrete itself doesn't stop meltdowns (that'd be something like a graphite rod in case of the reaction getting out of hand) but it is a practical way to contain passive radiation sources since using lead instead would be insanely expensive and structurally unsound.
Probably meant that concrete contains meltdown and the ensuing radiation
@@EnbyOccultist I know, it just stops it from spreading out and contains it, was just telling him why he is rad and concrete related not trying to make a big discussion
ayo a triburos warframe review on time??? Love to see it
Getting a room clearing frame in 2023 feels redundant when at that point in the game you mostly want something that bypasses hard boss enemies instead
Love your Content
I've got an idea for a new warframe that *ISNT* dps/nuke meta: a new mind controlling frame. However, this frame takes control of enemies... by taking control of enemies. Like direct control. Use the Kahl system! Frame turns invisible or possesses an enemy, gives you as much many accurate and functional abilities as possible. Next frame ability should support allies and gives you double benefit to the units you now control. Perhaps another ability could improve the possessed enemy's stats and/or make them become an eximus version of the unit. An ability to switch between additional units you can control (since I believe the primary ability should be able to posses more than one unit) and your warframe is an obvious addition to the primary. And lastly, maybe a damage reduction aura for allies that centers around the current unit you're controlling would be interesting, with perhaps an additional effect as well.
Essentially, a support frame that can both support the team and raise an army of mind-controlled enemy units, tougher than they were before being taken over.
What do you guys think?
That's a stupid idea.... just use an invisible frame of you don't want to be noticed by enemies or use nyx or revenant to control enemies.
@stefanlewis7773 the point is to have the distance from your frame as a balancing tool (if needed), or committing to controlling an enemy army in full (also could be used for balancing)
Frame name: Legion?
Positively surprised the lad uploaded this quick
Trib: "maybe I can do this more oft-", proceeds to keel over. Damn I love that
Ya know I see him dunk on passives a lot.
But like. “Boring” passives have been around since the beginning. Excalibur’s for instance. Simple but effective.
Though I will admit they’re not all winners.
I’m curious what he would make the passive.
Also I’m pretty sure it got change-
Oh god Qourvex was a *year* ago…
Let's go you uploaded twice in a 7 day period of time!
The reason why pillars cause aftershocks with crucible blast is because crucible blast makes ALL rad procs explode while it is active, including those emitted by chyrinka pillars
I don't know how trib resisted the voices telling him to add blue to Qorvex energy.
My favorite Warframe critic that give us relevant info but makes us laugh through out each video
Hey Trib thanks for another video love your content.
Qorvex in my opinion needs a few more things going for him in my opinion.
I liked the changes you mentioned, though what if instead.
Passive: radiation aura that scales in damage and size depending on the amount of pillars and shields there are active by a %
His 2 no longer roots can be cast in the air and now aligns with your reticle, letting you aim and cast it vertically
His 4 disables his passive now applying that damage % increase to his beam
Seeing that precision intensify exists somehow makes me regret even less, scrapping Yareli's Riptide for Hydroid's Tempest Barrage
I like Qorvex with his Concrete Containment Vessel appearance, his abilities are all about making sure the enemy can't hit the broad side of a barn, which combined with his armor makes him stupidly hard to kil and his Crucible core is deceptively powerful when allowed to hit an army and his pillar. Also if you listen closely some of his kit like the Pillars actually give of the signature clicking sound of geiger counters, which i think is a neat little detail fitting of his status as a Demon Core with legs.
Great review of the warframe. It was very informative. As much as I like brozime, his reviews are overly negative especially and Qorvex. I'm glad you took the time to actually understand and give helpful for his kit

Releasing a video BEFORE the next frame drops??? Who are you and what have you done with Triburos?
The backside of Qorvex's helm has a smiley face on it : )
My headcanon is that his 'concrete' is slabs of the Indifference itself, which would make his obscene toughness suddenly make a lot more sense. Frames are described with words like 'steel,' but clearly that's not literal, considering they're leagues tougher than that since they can serve as spaceship-piercing railgun munitions. When I got a nicer graphics card, that idea got reinforced as I saw a ton of detail in his slabs' textures reminiscent of the crazy detailed textures we'd see in the 'rock' in those Indifference tiles.
