    Dr. William Davis, who is mentioned in this video, would tell you that an optimal triglyceride level is 60 mg/dL or less. The typical accepted reference range of 150 mg/dL that is often quoted or shown on your lab results is far too lenient.

    Ever since I started my ketogenic lifestyle and one-meal-a-day intermittent fasting since 6/2022, my TG levels dropped from 212 to 66 and my HDL levels skyrocketed from 29 to 64. The best way to increase your HDL is to increase your saturated fat intake.
    Since I started my ketogenic lifestyle, I gave up grains, sugar, fructose, alcohol, processed carbohydrates entirely. Also, since my 0 grains, all my digestive issues, IBS and vague abdominal problems, all disappeared. Ketogenic lifestyle, 0 grains and one-meal-a-day intermittent fasting works wonders. 😊

      But Peter Attia say for lower apoB need to avoid saturated fat ( animal proteins and fat , eggs ) and refined carbs . Too much saturated fat - animal proteins will damage your Kidneys . So where it’s the True ?

    • @Dolphin_457
      @Dolphin_457 5 днів тому +1

      @luk5827 I have been eating tons of saturated fats over two years, and my kidney functions and liver enzymes are perfect. I am not afraid of eating saturated fats. I do exactly the opposite of what the American Heart Association recommends. They recommend a low-fat, high carb diet, which causes heart attacks and strokes. I do the opposite. I eat a low-carb, high fat, 0 sugar, 0 fructose, 0 grain diet, and I feel super energetic, and my bloodwork is perfect. I will never go back to AHA, and ADA recommended Standard American Diet again. Never. The S.A.D. causes degenerative diseases such as T2D, hypertension, kidney disease, insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia, pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, obesity, heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, PCOS, autoimmune diseases---all of these diseases are caused by high sugar, high fructose, high carbohydrate processed foods found in the Standard American Diet. So the solution??? A very low carbohydrate, high fat diet, like the ketogenic lifestyle and Carnivore diet. Also, there is no sugar, no fructose, no HFCS soft drinks, no fruit drinks, no vegetable seed oils, no alcohol and no smoking.

      @@Dolphin_457 Are you eating pork meal , beef , chicken , eggs ? All by grill ?

    • @Dolphin_457
      @Dolphin_457 5 днів тому +1

      @luk5827 I don't eat pork or bacon but I eat all other kinds of meat, from beef liver and chicken liver to chicken hearts, grass-fed rib eye steak, 5 pasture raised eggs every day, lamb and fatty fish like wild-caught salmon, sardines and mackerel. Just stay away from vegetable seed oils ( like Canola oil, Sunflower oil, Safflower oil, peanut oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, and corn oil, all of which are PUFAs), stay away from High Fructose Corn Syrup, like regular and diet soft drinks, Gatorade and fruit drinks, stay away from alcohol and smoking. Get used to drinking only water and coffee, black, no sugar. If you must put something in your coffee, try heavy cream, which is high fat.
      I never grill, because I don't have means to grill. I cook my food with the following: avocado oil, grass-fed ghee, grass-fed butter, coconut oil, and lard. Although I don't use bacon grease, it's very healthy oil to use.
      I drink 4 to cups of black coffee, no sugar every day. Some days, I add MCT oil mixed with either grass-fed ghee or grass-fed butter in my coffee.
      Good luck if you are following a ketogenic lifestyle or a Carnivore diet.
      Lastly, let me recommend a book you can get from your local library:
      THE CARNIVORE CODE by Paul Saladino
      and
      EAT MEAT AND STOP JOGGING by Mike Sheridan.
      Two awesome books 📚 that will optimize your health.

    He scolded me and told me stop eating that crap and to go see my therapist ! And told me to come see him in a couple weeks for another blood test.

    Our FDA is too lenient. One might want to search American foods banned in other countries. That should make one question our approved foods. But what bothers me is how our food corporations find loopholes around the FDA regulations, or misleading advertising. I worked for a large food corporation and was an eye opener at the labeling and marketing of a product. As any business, is in it for profits but USA could use some changes in our acceptable additives. It would be great to think they care about our health. After my employment it was obvious they will do almost anything to optimize profits. Our own Pyramid of foods is also questionable as compared to other countries. Yet so many Americans are obese and progressive increase in celiac and diabetes in our population.

      Foods on the market can vary widely in terms of health impacts. Some may be less healthy due to processing, additives, or high levels of sugars and fats, but they are often marketed due to consumer demand and profitability. Regulatory agencies set guidelines, but individual health impacts can differ. It’s important to make informed choices and focus on a balanced diet with whole, minimally processed foods. 🥗📊🌟
