Her Cantonese phrases are surprisingly good as it's hard to the tone/pitch right when learning Cantonese. Respect to her. Also that baby's skills won't be half as good - they'll be twice as good as he'll be skilled in both!!
As someone who grew up eating dimsum, I know your kids are gonna be thankful for the experience. Beautiful family.
Thank you so much!
The Chinese guy is speaking English and the white girl is speaking Cantonese. This is brilliant!
Steve, you did a good impression of Martin Yan when you were speaking with your son.
👍
Your little boy is too cute!
You speak Cantonese better than your husband ,so good to teach your son Cantonese language! You are lovely couple with a handsome boy!👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!!
When your baby bit into the char siu bao, it made me laugh out loud. So cute. Made me hungry now for dim sum. Can't wait to teach my son dim sum when he gets bigger.
We miss dim sum!!!!
I wished I had you as a sister-in-law to take the initiative to learn a new language and respect the culture. My family would Love you!
Lol! Thanks for the kind words and encouragement!
Oh my god, I am going to order five of everything as soon as this covid -19 thing is over. Who is with me? My treat.
Haha! We miss dim sum 😕
@@CantoneseCouple If you are ever in the SF area let me know.
busapassion 👍
Where is it at tho?
I hope they are still open. www.yelp.com/biz/skyview-fusion-cuisine-markham
If he is only half year old, he has yet to be efficient to use any eating utensils other than chopstick.
I love the atmosphere so much when all of you are sitting around, eating dim sum and chatting in Cantonese!
+MrTsiqsin We do to! We come to Toronto every year for some good dim sum. Maybe we will come to Hong Kong one day.
+Cantonese Couple Great! I'm waiting for you guys to come to Hong Kong!
when steve started speaking english in the cantonese accent, it took me a good while to figure out which language it was XD
You're so awesome learning Cantonese :D! Makes me smile every time I watch your videos : D !!
the lil baby seems to love tsa sieuw bao, the first bite what he took from that bun was HUGE
But you don't normally eat dim sum everyday? No one eats dim sum everyday.
simplyrobby I would if I could 😄😅
what a pleasure and joy to your video and Isaiah enjoying his tim sum meal.
THIS VIDEO IS SO CUTE! I love this!
+Jasmine He Thanks! It was a fun day!
Adopt me pls. I'm 27 and is potty trained
Jordon's Cantonese is pretty good!!! And I think I've been to that restaurant with my parents!!! Cantonese chit chat. LOL.
HaHa. Just stumble to you channel and your wife's Cantonese is pretty good. My wife is white also but she can only count to 10. Well wishes to you both.
Eddy Ng Haha! We hope she learns more!
LOL, I'm cracking up at your Yan Can Cook impression!
There were two Yan cooking shows on Canadian TV - Stephen Yan and Martin Yan. As a teen CBC, I always thought they were so corny, but appreciate them decades later for their contribution to the Chinese community and groundbreaking media presence in Canada!
Jordan you’re an awesome lady and a super mom. Two thumbs up from an ABC
Your baby is so precious 😍 Just found your channel! Keep up with the good work! Jordan, your Cantonese is amazing!
Jyanne Skye Glad you found it. Thanks for watching!!
Haha funny when the dad speak like Martin Yan
Great family
Looks like Yu Sea Food
yes Markham has awesome dim sum
as a proud Canadian
Her cantonese is so good T_T omg. It's so impressive omg.
Binge watching your videos 😂😂❤️❤️
It's soooo funny when Steve speaks English with a Hong Kong Cantonese accent. LOL
Aaaaaaaw. Love your videos! Skyview Fusion is even better now after the Dragon Boat dim sum chain took it over. Same name still but the dim sum is out of this world delish. Do order the BBQ pork rice too...even better than many places in Hong Kong! 😍😋
My family always just turned the chopstick around so that you're using the thick part, to serve others, and then use the smaller end for personal eating.
Another great video =3 Thank you!
Nikita Rose Thanks for watching!
What about at 1:10 when the young bloke demolishes the cha siu baau!! Great work!!
+beardan76 It's in his genes. He loves it!
It 's really like yum cha restaurant in HK.
1st of all. The dim sum made me super hungry and then watching your baby made me lol...
What is the name of the restaurant? I really want to try it!!
I'm impressed!! 2 pairs of chopsticks. Never seen that here in the states.
Just ask the waiter for extra chopsticks..."goong fai".
Votre fils est trop mignon, je suis également en couple avec une européenne et mes enfants sont aussi métissés.
a bientôt !
Judging by the baby, it seems like Jordan might have stronger genes than Steve. ;-)
Jordan go on to bed bath and beyond and get a set of 10 tart moulds and when you have done that I will give you recipe for making egg tarts.
Aw, we miss dimsum, haven't had it for a long time! You guys live in Detroit? How's the Chinese food scene there?
Yup are from the Metro Detroit area. Detroit Chinese food is probably a 3/10. Toronto Chinese food is like a 6/10 and Hong Kong is 10/10 lol. No dim sum where you are at?
Lots of places here in Toronto, just haven't gone for a long time! We'd personally give it a higher rating than 6 but HK definitely has the variety advantage for sure, so 7 for Toronto and 8 for HK for us.
Jordan, you and Steve should go to Hong Kong to the address in this website www.marthasherpa.com and do cooking classes for wok cookery, wok and BBQ Cookery, Dim Sum Cookery, you can learn to make a whole range of dishes from Roast pork belly with the crispy skin, char siu pork, Cantonese Roast duck, bak tsit gai, etc, etc.
Is baby boy trilingual? Cantonese Chinese, American English and ASL?
lola2u He is primarily English speaking. We are teaching him a little Cantonese here and there.
LA DIM SUM IS 11/10... Seriously. ..
my aunt is the manager here xd
Are you serious haha?! That's awesome! Do you get free food :-)
Dang. Jordan's Canto is pretty solid!
i like that Chaaaaa Sdik
"You don't get that in restaurants in the U.S.!"
Unless you go to a dim sum restaurant in the U.S.
Issiah? Middle America Christians?
