These waffles make a wonderful aroma all over Pacific Mall and they are very delicious. This was my favorite Mall in GTA.
As an Asian male.............I love seeing you guy's................The All American Family!!
I love both of you
I'm 4 years late but Jordan could be a cantopop star if she wanted!
Respects to your wife! 👍
Thanks!!!
Still my favorite Cantonese couple video to date. We like to rewatch this in our house. My 4 year thinks the ending is hilarious too! Do you guys make chinese egg waffles at home? Would love to se a video on that! Best wishes xXx
Wow u guys travelled over to Pmall! That's so cool to know! I live a few cities away, I've been to Pmall many times, my parents use to bring me and my brother there a lot. I have many great memories going there. Especially the food! I was so confused when I saw the thumbnail, since I know you guys live in the states. I recognized the background 😂 I know this video is old but I hope u guys had a great time in Markham! There is SO MANY great Chinese foods in Markham! I always travel there for the local restaurants and shops since the Chinese population isn't as big in my city. Hope u guys come visit Canada again one day!
We hope to come back soon! It is a yearly tradition, but we probably won’t come this year.
雞蛋仔 =] ~~ a great videos , i very happy you and your wife understand 's '唔該' and '多謝' 'different coz many foreigner who always learn the cantonese the alway use that two words at wrong time haha, maybe you two can teach cantonese at your town . And i hope you two can back to hong kong to try more hong kong style food like as chinese egg waffles, fish ball..etc at future haha . and thanks for shared videos
Bro I love pacific mall! I always get waffles there and Dragon city mall in Chinatown. Nice to see everyone enjoying it! A bit sad I haven’t visited since the pandemic happened 😔
Yes so sad. We hope the businesses there are doing okay!
I was at this mall before
Cute couple 💝💝💝💝💝
Thanks!
I was there 10 years before you guys made the video. lol
I haven’t had egg waffles in so long…also, it’s bad that I immediately knew it was iMovie right?
They are so fuckin good
The ending was so unexpected
👍
Do you guys live in Ontario, Canada or in the u.s.?
US. We like to go to Markham for vacation!
@@CantoneseCouple let us know when you guys come on vacay in the future (post covid). It would be awesome to meet you guys one day! :)
$34.50!
Best deal!!
LOL love Jordan's singing bit at the end "I feel so Cantonese right now drinking boba tea..." She is so cute!
An Asian person hearing a non-Asian person speaking an Asian language = mind blown. Lol
older chinese especially those who immigrated love when younger people speak the language. but to have a non asian speaking it really impresses them. I speak chinese to merchants all the time. they are so thrilled that the younger generation is holding onto their culture. and I usually receive the best service as well as freebies too.
This made me smile! Egg waffles are my favorite too! My husband is Chinese, born in HK, and I am currently trying to learn mandarin, but I really want to learn Cantonese. I ask him to only speak to me in Cantonese but he says his isn't very good anymore. I figured it would help him relearn it. It'll be useful especially if we have children. I love your videos!!
Jordan, you are the cutest thing I've ever seen! I'm so impressed by how un-self-conscious you are when speaking Cantonese with native speakers, and how you don't hesitate to just jump right into a conversation. (I'm totally older than you, but...) I want to be just like you when I grow up! Lol.
D Chow 😀😀 Thanks!!
I live in markham and have been to Pacific mall a lot, and I'm also trying to learn cantonese, so this video was really enjoyable for me to watch. Luckily in Markham there are a lot of people to practise Cantonese speaking with. Thanks for making videos like this!
Yes, take advantage of all the Cantonese speakers in Markham. You will do great!
Your wife is an inspiration to me. She is confident in learning new things, humble and a great mother/wife. That is goals for sure. Lovely family all around!
this is indeed interesting to watch as a chinese.
When is the next episode? I show my cantonese family your videos. Very funny.
Your son so cute.
Not short of 'gai daan jai' in Hong Kong! Mihn fai syut gou is the best kind of ice cream!
Amazing couple ! Love you guy's video !
fabulous! love the singing at the end. such pretty voice.
Love you guys!!!
Wow, this is so cool!

Like X 10000000
Finally- something 'real', family oriented vlogging- I may even learn a few Canto phrases here! Good job!
Alden YL Thank you!
Nice video! The Pacific Mall is just like any shopping mall in HK. Thanks the Cantonese immigrants for bringing Cantonese food culture there, and particularly the traditional Chinese characters on their shop signs!
Hi Jordan & Steven! You guys are lovely. Isaiah is adorable! Jordan seems to be an amazing wife and daughter-in-law! Do you guys have a video about how you guys met each other?
Thank you so much for your nice comments! A lot of people want to know how we met. Perhaps that will be our next video. I guess you will have to wait and see :-)
If you’re ever near the Torrance area of Southern California, check out Mitsuwa Marketplace. Lots of Japanese food there. Its a food court. Then if you go inside the market area, they have a lot of bentos, and Japanese take outs. Good stuff.
Please do more vlogs!!
Your wife is so cool! inspires me to learn a new language. What a beautiful family! Totally subscribed. Cheers from Toronto! :) Pacific Mall is so great, isn't it?!
Hello Jordan and Steven! I know your names now! I had to message again as I'm totally blown away by your really cool videos. I was really impressed with Jordan's conversation with the lady making the egg waffles ^__^! I would never have the confidence to do that despite being Cantonese myself >
yum!
egg waffle! my wife's favorite too!
Soooo freaking amazing. 👌🏼 never heard someone outside HK speak this good, very impressed
Jenny Lok Wow that is a high compliment. Thank you. I assume you are talking about my wife and not me 😀.
-Steve
haha...yes, i was referring to your wife...you dont speak too bad, but defin has a heavy ABC accent....Cantonese is so difficult for foreigner to learn because of our 9 different tones. People can learn mandarin within 6 months but not cantonese...so kudos for her!
My favourite whilst in HK
Keep the vlogs coming
Glad you like them. We have been on vacation for a couple weeks, but we are working on some new ones. Thanks :-)
waaaaah ho sik. This was one of my favourite places as a kid!
She'd get free stuff regardless of whether she's speaking Cantonese because she's gorgeous.
I live near you!
In Canada!
I'm near Barrie
that mall always sells fake stuff
My family also goes to that market beside for some stuff
Their egg waffles are SOOO good
"everyone learns Cantonese today. Everyone.Today" hahahaha
hey Steve and Jordan, you are really nice couple. If I bump into you two in Pacific Mall, I will buy you bubble tea. I binge watched all the videos today. it was great... keep it up.
King Ma Hopefully we will be back soon!😀
is the ice cream get any larger?
Wow that mall looks a lot like HK
Cute
How'd he pull dat? I wanna know
Just discovered you guys! Wow!! i wish i could speak half of what your wife can say in cantonese! 🎼 i feel so cantonese right now... drinking bubble tea! 🎼 pls visit us again in Markham soon for a new vlog!
Thank you! Are you Chinese? I'm sure you can learn a lot of Cantonese living in Markham.
Yes, I am of Chinese background but was born in a french colony and moved to Canada. My main language is French.
I am still amazed how your wife picked up so much by just speaking the language. I can order some dimsum in cantonese or get my bill but thats about it! Anyways just amazed and will keep looking out for your videos
Jordan's ice cream is green tea 綠茶 instead of Vanilla
She said lo ban la means I’m getting off work looool obama hahahaha
Where are you guys from ?
Hi from the UK! What baby carrier do you use? It looks super comfy! Thank you. Love your videos! Can relate to your family loads and we love learning Cantonese with you!
Hello and thanks for stopping by. We use the ergobaby. However, Isaiah doesn't fit in there anymore haha. amzn.to/2lKQ1Ct
+Cantonese Couple Ohh strange this is the exact carrier I was about to buy! Love your videos ..they help me a lot on my Canto journey! I'm in the same situation and want my daughter to learn too (she's only 8 months now) so she can speak to her ma ma and yeye when she's older. Much Love, I'll keep watching! X have a Lovely weekend.
I go to that egg waffle vendor often. it's the best in all of Toronto. but the owner she never gave me no free nothin....!! I m jealous.. lol..
btw I m Chinese Canadian born in HK grew up in Toronto fluent in Cantonese and my wife of 4 years is also white. she is also trying to learn Cantonese but her progress has been very slow. she can't hold a conversation like your wife could in Chinese. I gotta practice with my wife more often. it's motivating to see your wife speak so well. Would be so nice if my wife n my parents/family can communicate in Cantonese. would really bring them closer n not for my wife to feel left out of family conversations over the dining table.
And may be once my wife learns more Cantonese we will get free ice cream from the egg waffle vendor lol...
jack chung I feel like Jordan's cantonese would be very good if we lived somewhere like Markham. Best wishes for your wife. She can do it!
-Steve
Cantonese Couple
hey bro... well... it's the willingness to learn Cantonese too. i think Jordan is pretty motivated to learn. my wife is less enthusiastic.
lol.. yeah... in Markham Scarborough or Richmond Hill in Toronto there are days I need not to speak a word of English just Cantonese or Mandarin all day.
In Cantonese, when it's a service (open door or hand you something), you say "Mm Goi". When it's a gift (money or material), you say "Dor Tse"
Allan Liu Thanks for the info!
I’m going to stick I’m head in a rice cooker. Jordan’s canto is better than mine. LOL
Cool you live in the GTA :D
The Chinatowns in Canada are much better than the ones in America. They have larger populations and they have better quality businesses/stores than America's Chinatowns. The American Chinatowns area really not as big and do not have very good quality business products especially the businesses are not as large and the spaces are more limited. Canada especially has a lot more suburban Chinatowns than America. The suburban Chinatowns are the best because of the open space the cleanliness.
We LOVE the Markham/Toronto area. Great food and low prices!
^Truth right here. Also, Chinese-Canadians tend to be more emotionally well-adjusted compared to the their American counterparts because a far larger percentage of Canada's Chinese population grew up in Asian enclaves where they were shielded from a lot the racism that their more widely dispersed American counterparts face.
supertrouper every second person in Toronto and Vancouver is Chinese in the US it’s mostly hispanics and black very rare you see an Asian face unless they’re visiting from Canada .
One suggestion if you try to separate one segment in just pure Cantonese and one segment in English then you will have bigger impact. People like myself who doesn't understand Chinese would be very difficult to follow. Love pacific mall nevertheless
Are you from Canada or America?
amwf make great couples, wmaf equals eeeewwwww
Go to Flushing Queens NYC, the Chinatown have a lot more things to do and better restaurants.
Holy Crap! This is the mall that Russell Peters was talking about.
TheBagBalm It does exists lol!

You'll cry too if it happened to you....
You've got a great wife.
You really should be speaking in english or french here in Canada.
Why is there a Pacific Mall in Ontario? Thats like nowhere near the Pacific. Its on the wrong side of the continent LOL Im used to seeing Pacific used in place names on the west coast like we normal Americans do
This is Hong Kong Egg Waffles
Ur wife is very nice 👍
Obama haha!
Look-cha is green tea not vanilla
hahaha.................
Once you go asian you can never go back!
Obama!
