    Inspired? Wow, that was a masterclass in making Roti. I have to admit that I've been getting my ready made Roti from a well known quality foodstore but we really will be giving these a try. Many thanks Sharmi.

    I can never get them to puff up when I press the side. I think its something to do with the way they are rolled out

      Yes, it has to be evenly rolled and press gently to puff.🙂❤️❤️

    If your chapattis turn out a bit hard and dry (ahem - the dough wasn't wet enough? I didn't knead it enough? The pan was too hot? The pan wasn't hot enough?), never fear! This recipe also makes really good crackers a bit like Pane Carasau (Sardinian flat bread). Of course, the crackers/my chapattis moisten up a bit when dipped in the curry gravy, but they are also really good with cheese. Bonus! I'll keep working on my chapatti "technique". 😀

    Too bad it's whole wheat flour I can probably still make it but I will never use whole wheat but I'm so thankful for this recipe
