Scones are my favorite indulgence
I never will understand why people think it’s ok to give others a hard time on their own channels/pages/etc. So incredibly rude and selfish. If I don’t use an item in a recipe, such as corn starch, I search for an alternative. If that isn’t an option, I try to “reconfigure” or “ retrofit” the recipe. 🤷🏻♀️

Wish I saw this sooner! My ordering window just closed. I want those berries. It's fine. Not your fault. I hit my budget limit. You have made me giggle before I went to sleep. Which was great because my dog is fearing the T&L storm and my giggling stopped her trembling and started her playing, So watching you is better than me playing the Music for Dog Anxiety videos that I usually play during storms for her. I, myself, much prefer your husbands silly bombing in the video...funny man. Love the "rant done. Not it.s not" part. That is what changed my dog's mood. LOVE your rants! HEY! Get the cheese! I was told by someone in my household to not get the 5 pounds of cheese the first time. AND I got it....fam fave. Will be for your house too. The two that moved out will be so upset that you have such great chesse in the house! You will have to get some for them too! Also, Get Nancy's probiotic sour cream. I always used my homemade yogurt for a sour cream stand in...not now! I use Nancy's probiotic sour cream for sour cream things! YUM that! The order that closed today has a great big honking box of frozen cranberries in it! Last winter I got 25 pounds of cranberries because I didn't know what 25 pounds of cranberries looked like. I made 32 quarts of cranberry juice concentrate. That's not including the amount of juice that overflowed from the draining bowl onto the kitchen table and floor. I was processing 10 pounds of garlic cloves into one ounce frozen pucks for the freezer and feeling good about all the production I was doing and dancing to music and having a blast. then I turned around and saw the mess of red river flowing out of the bowl onto the table and then onto the floor. I yelled a loud prayer to God above. My octogenarian momma came out to the kitchen and helped me clean it up. I was more focused from then on out for the rest of the processing. I will be finding out how much juice 25 pounds of cranberries actually makes with this box. I am hoping to make enough for a full year. God willing. Rant done. Thank you very much. 😃

@@Heather-zc9we I follow the recipe in the book, Ball Complete Book of Home Preserging. It’s on page 189. This is the second year of done it. Well worth it for my mom’s health. It helps her hydrate when I serve it half and half with coconut water which also can be purchased from Azure Standard at a fabulous price!
@@Heather-zc9we PS. It’s way way way better than store bought cranberry juice. The stuff in the store tastes old, chemically and rancid.

I have to make my own pumpkin pie spice because I leave out the nutmeg. My throat closes up with Nutmeg. I LOVE FALL baking/foods but all my fall “pumpkin spice” flavored items have to be homemade if I want to survive Fall 🍁
Why do people give you a hard time about corn starch??? 🤔🤔 No one is telling them to dump the whole container in their mouths or consume it every single day.
Yes Azure Standard does deliver but...the cost of shipping is enormous. That is why they have 'drop' locations to help folks save on product cost and shipping.
I pick up my order tomorrow morning. I've been ordering from them for about a year and a half or so now. LOVE LOVE LOVE! And I'm especially loving the canning jars I got from them.... thicker glass, so no breakage. (Seems other brands aren't the good quality they used to be.)
Ball sold out and they just stink now. I have some in my cart for next month already

Fave: Bulk grains to mill our flour. Love getting organic foodstuffs. Their organic Pear Nectar is heaven. Can’t get anything like it locally.

I order all of my beans from them. I recently started ordering butter and the Sierra Nevada raw Jalapeño Jack. We love it. It melts beautifully. I love Azure Standard!
Well, you lost me at half to “help unload the truck”. I’m glad I found this out now because I’m not physically capable of that at 62 years old.
They do ship as well. We have a handful of people who are in the same place you are and they just let the drop coordinator know or bring a friend.
Talk with the drop coordinator, mine said it was fine since there is enough people to help unload. I love Azure. I take a wagon to take my items to my car.

We order all purpose flour and we love it.
🧀Get the cheese. Yummm!!! Just gave my sister a chunk to make a queso dip and she said that it melted amazing. She didn’t have to fight with it like she does other cheeses.
It’s so in my cart. I may buy a pound of a few and do a taste test video.
The Sierra Nevada cheese is beyond amaze-balls, my homestead store that I go to had some that I got and it is addictive!
I love the Dr Jacob's soap better than Bronners.
Their raw cheese is fantastic and really a pretty good deal, we shred and freeze but the block lasts sealed in the fridge for a whole long time too!

I get the Sierra Nevada Raw Cheddar, it's very good. My problem with the 5 lb. block is that it's hard to cut into chunks because it's so big, so now I get 3 ea. 8 oz. blocks. My favorite things are: laundry soap, butter, cheese, non GMO cornstarch, spices, - I'll stop there because there is very little that I don't love from Azure.

Azure has a truffle jack cheese that is really good. I also love the dried cherries, apple juice infused dried cranberries, and their white chocolate chips. I make scones with the dried cherries and white chocolate chips. The dried cranberries are good in kale salads. I buy their A2 powdered milk to make batches of hot cocoa mix. You are correct on pricing, some things are cheaper to pick up locally but you can’t beat the bulk pricing on rice, sugar, and oats.
We love their cranberries. We actually had some in our lunch salad today.
I love the pizza sauce.. I also get the raw cheese and it’s amazing.. lasts forever in the fridge even with bees wax on it!

How do you store the items that came in the brown bags and the berries?

I store most everything in glass jars I get from thrift stores or old mason jars. For the big bags I use plastic buckets.

I love Azure, I have not ordered anything yet that I didn't like.
Well I buy the 5lb blocks of cheese all the time. I cut them into 4 and vaccum seal them up and into the freezer. Taste just as good out of the freezer thawed as it did when I cut it into blocks LOL.
Just know it will ruin you for the crap in the store. Just sayin...........

Most buttermilk ranches that I have had have that overpowering buttermilk taste. Does your mix have that taste? If not will you be willing to share it please.

I live in SW Ohio and closest drop is 50 minutes from me. Unfortunately I can only use Azure during school breaks/summer (school employee) because of drive and ever changing drop times. I wish we had a closer drop. Yeah I know I could organize one but my silly job still gets in the way.😢

Regarding Azure, what do you do if you're disabled and can't see well, don't have any family and are old enough that my friends don't drive anymore? Gosh, I'm really screwed up. Lol. Is there any way they will deliver??? My friend read to me and I don't understand it. Seems an awful lot of people are being left out of the loop. :(
They can deliver to your home. Where are you located? Maybe contact the local drop and see if anyone can help.
Yes 👍🏻 Azure will deliver to your home. However I think 🤔 it is pricey? Especially with heavy weight products 😬😵💫
Azure does home delivery but it’s extremely costly. Contact your nearest drop host and see if someone else lives near you that would be willing to pick your order up and bring to you. It’s worth it to check and you may be surprised.
