gregor is it possible to use the small cleaning wads that you fire from the barrel, would they perhaps load in the magazine ? nice rifle , looking forward to more video's on your new set up
+Gary Billington Hi, I guess it wold be possible to use something like cleaning pellets. They however must not be longer than 11 mm. That is the maximum length of the pellet.
hi Gregor i have a query regarding reducing the working pressure of regulator Huben k1.can it be done under pressure of 300 or i need to de gas it before doing so plz
I like to clean the barrel on all my airguns when they arrive. It is not mandatory but a good practice in general. I would not disassemble it just to clean it though, at least not at first.
Hard to say, I have not tried it yet. I doubt that they would clean the barrel properly because the lead build on K1 is similar to firearms and you need to use brass brush for time to time.
+TheWelshman50 350 bar is the max. fill pressure (the tube is tested to 475 bar), not the required pressure. If the regulator is set to 150 bar, that means that you can shoot down to 150 bar with constant velocity. I fill the Huben form 300 bar scuba tank. When the scuba tank is full, then I fill it to 300 bar, when I have only for example only 220 bar left in scuba tank, then I fill it to 220 bar and get appropriate amount less shots... Having 350 bar fill pressure only means that it is OK to fill it at a higher pressure but it is not mandatory to do so.
Gregor Kamenšek amazing I think il dial it up to 190/200 and give it a go, the gun is out of this world with every squeeze of the trigger you get a free smile haha
@@gregorkamensek3923 I think the shroud should be removed as the baffles might be an issue with them. I have some I'll try them later and let you know.

I just posted the same question then see this post.

Should a brand new k1 be cleaned ?

Hi Gregor, is there any thread at the end of the barrel, example 1/2UNF?
+Xman Xman Yes there is. It looks like a metric M12 with 1 mm twist.
What about loading the mag with cleaning pellets? Any problem there?

how do you fill your rifle with air as its such a high pressuree rifle

Thank you for your quick reply, k1 looks a nice rifle to shoot
i like this sir
Hey Gregor so finally got my K1mkii but using jsb beasts I didn't seem to get above 950fps on a reg of 150/160 and max dial turn, any ideas?
That seem about right. K1 version 2 need slightly higher pressure to get the same velocity. You will need to set the regulator to higher pressure...

I agree :)
Only real proper way to clean is to remove the barrel?
Depends on what you call a "proper way" I clean if through the muzzle.
Will it fire felt cleaning pads ?
I haven't tried it but I don't se any reason why it would not... The only danger with those is that they might get stuck in the shroud...

@@PeakyBlinder Yes, that might be a good idea...
