Shadow Systems MR920 Review

- The MR920 is a great Glock 19 clone offering from Shadow Systems. It has all of the upgrades that most people make to their Glocks for far less than the cost. I purchased this Shadow Systems MR920 at my local gun shop for approximately $200 more than a used Gen 5 Glock 19 right next to it. Coming with steel high vis tritium sights, removable mag well, spiral fluted threaded barrel, aluminum trigger, aluminum optic cover plate, and modified grip module the Shadow Systems series of pistols are ready to go out of the box.

I'm one of those people that shoots my guns a lot. Having ordered an MR920 Elite Shadow Systems, while dry firing it and getting acquainted the trigger assembly was defective. Without having fired a shot, the gun has to go back to Shadow Systems. Great customer service. But, is that what you want great customer service? I wanted a great gun. Stick with my GLOCK for defending my life. This gun will be a range toy for a long time. It's going to have to prove itself under even more scrutiny.

Love my MR920 Elite! I’ve heard to bring ur weapon up in ur line of sight and use that as your workspace so u can keep ur eyes 👀 on the target/danger and still see your weapon as that is just as important. Works great for me. Great video brotha

Nice review and shooting! Do you prefer racking the slide after reloads? I noticed you don’t use the slide release after reloading a new mag in.
I do both, I don’t have a preference. In the first reload drills I use the slide release, and in the final reload drills I go over the top.
Great video. What holster are you running for the MR 920 with the TLR 7A?

Just got this one 850 out the door today hoping I got a deal came with 4 mags at a pawn shop only difference is mine has a flat drop /face trigger the one that you can get from them as an option
Awesome, not a bad price.
I have the 19 gen 5. Over 1000 rds so far. Very soft shooter. ONLY complaint is that to keep the barrel in line with my forearm my trigger finger is just a little short(maybe 1/8”)to be comfortable.Is the trigger reach any shorter on the mr920? Thanks.
The grip angle on the MR920 and all Shadow Systems firearms is more neutral and natural especially with the backstrap that comes on the gun and makes it more comfortable to shoot. Stop at a gun store and feel it out. They should have them.
Just watched the full video I got the same trigger but it’s red tip/safety on my trigger 😂 idk y mine is red there

Isn’t anyone concerned about how little of steel is between the front of the rear sight and the optic cut? You would think that little piece of metal under stress would just break off.

Nice Glock clone.. too bad they are almost 3 times the price to a new Glock overhere in Europe 😑
