Great modifications! Was surprised to hear reflective wheel tape is illegal in Germany. I had red ones on my old BMW R1100RT and it worked great! It's perfectly legal in the USA, in fact the more reflectors the better. Whatever gets you noticed by distracted car drivers, without being mistaken for a Police motorcycle. Enjoy your journey.
I don't think, Police will notice. But, just in case of an accident, when the bike would be stripped apart afterwards, then, and probably only then, might someone notice... But, that's why I hid the license plates. I agree on your "more reflectors the better. I am going to outline the whole bike one day.
I would think the German Police have better things to do than to cite trivial equipment violations that, if I understand correctly, aren't illegal across the whole EU. This would be especially true if the Police Officer was a motorcycle Officer, and understood the hazards of being at the bottom of the vehicle food chain. We have similar problems in the USA with state-to-state regulations...for example radar detectors; legal in some states, illegal in others. Enjoy your journey...keep it shiny side up.
Manche Sachen sind interessant! 2 Fragen: Woher bekommt man die Netzauflage für den Sitz? Wozu sind die verlängerten Schrauben an den hinteren seitlichen Haltegriffen?
Sorry, I have no idea, what the brand is. Bought it years ago in Korea. You'll get it there and probably cheaper in Japan, where it is from. I think...
I got mine from a bike fair first and later online. Like this shop: www.internet-bikes.com/de/140716-3m-rad-reflektierendes-band-5-mm-x-6-m-weiss/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3N2Zybei3gIVWJnVCh198AzjEAkYEyABEgIKvfD_BwE
Great review of your mods. Makes a guy think outside the box as well not doing cookie cutter aftermarket products. But it's sad you live in a country that you have to hide your plate so the Nazi police don't show up at your door for reflective tape and throw you into a concentration camp.Other than that nice job on the video.
Great Video. Keep up the great work, and always always look out for those caged critters.

I totally agree. Thank you!
GREAT mods buddy. Glad you like the fanny pack idea. I just now saw your comment. ( 3 years later) Better late than never I guess. Subbed man.
And thanks for the video Sir.
I think I'll put some of that reflecting tape on my Suzuki Burgman. You can really see it at night.
I have reflective tape on my rims and some on the body.
Nice Video Calenglinnar

Thanks for the video. Any chance you can provide a link for the mesh seat cover? I've never seen one big enough to fit on a Burgman.

I like the modifications . Where can you get the reflector tape?

Nice mods :)
Any idea what brand your seat is or where it might be available?
I bought mine in Korea, back when I was working there. No idea, what the brand is, sorry.

I hid the license plates, just so no one can see, where I am located. Police, haters, thieves ;-)
I updated the indicators to orange. Now it is technically okay, but for inspections they still will be covered.
