I like how bright the lights are it actually allows you to see what you're doing that's one thing I hate is when you buy something and the light they give you is useless but having one of these and you have a dead battery and you're by yourself the first time will pay for it because I love mine. And the best thing you don't have to ask anyone for a jump Ford someone asked you now you're stuck there but these new cars and their computers that's like my Porsche Cayenne this is a certain way to jump start it without destroying it so this is a great video it's like always you're the best boss #1 brother
Done deal... as soon as I can find one... looks great for my boat.... always forgetting to charge my Jump box, but always have DeWalt batteries in the tool box.
I've used two Clore JNC 660 boosters since 2014 personally (I lost one, doh!) and one at a used car lot. Pros like them for good reason and customer service is outstanding. They cost about what this DeWalt does and after seeing this review I won't bother adding this DeWalt though I like their other tools and love the DC 900 impact I just bought.
Found this video while trying to figure out why mine won't ever go to jump start mode. It's a warmish winter day, so I'm trying to fire up my farm trucks that pretty much just sit all winter. There's too much snow to drive a jump vehicle to one of them that would just barely turn over. I thought this handy little thing would be a good option. It seems to only be a booster and needs a pretty much fully charged DeWalt battery to even work. It stops boosting and turns red in just a few minutes when the DeWalt battery is still at 2 bars. When tested on a completely dead car battery, the car lights pulsed until the car's battery built up enough charge to maintain them. Every few minutes I'm changing out DeWalt batteries, slowly building enough charge in the truck's battery to start it.
Nice music sounds like the start of a movie, is it really that sexy LOL all joking aside I have the Milwaukee M12 air compressor and I did a job at Pep Boys and I bought a jumper made by Duracell and I have the 52" LED light bar and strobe lights mounted to the front of my truck and those will kill the battery almost instantly if you turn the truck off so having one of these is priceless
Been waiting for something like this but I'm afraid this might not be what people are expecting. I haven't found the manual yet but I'm thinking this likely doesn't contain it's own battery. So it is just acting as a 20A charger. A 5Ah battery will only have 90Wh of power so this thing could only charge a battery for around 15mins. So if the battery only needs a quick boost you would be OK but if it's dead then this thing isn't going to work. A 90Wh battery isn't going to fully charge a 600Wh car battery. Also you will have to wait while this thing charges the battery unlike a regular jump starter.
Also there's a few other brands that they sell at Home Depot forget the name but the price and around $200 it's the same thing and it was nice It had a smaller LED light but it took forever you have to plug in to charge it and the air compressor was not that strong my Milwaukee M12 destroyed it
Hey boss, looking for some advice. My brother who owns zero power tools just found out about impact wrenches. What is a good starter impact wrench for primarily taking off lug nuts. He has a pick up and a sedan. He shops at home depot lowes and Amazon. He is fine with a 1/2" impact wrench. I just don't have experience with impact wrenches myself. Thanks!
Real shame Baccus didn’t update these to at least charge Lithium 12 volts yet. They make Stanley chargers too, haven’t really been modernized in ages though aside from protection circuits. The bigger one might be the only dewalt product powered by lead acid batteries 😂
Hey ToolBoss I have been a subscriber for about 5 months & have had all notifications turned on for your channel. In the past 2 weeks I get none of your alerts. I have turned them on & off, I've also unsubscribed and subscribed still not working. I have other channels that I get the alerts on no issues. Not sure what has happen???? :)
This is first notification i got in over 1 week .. yea i kno it can be frustrating i bring up to them all the time .. they always say same thing . Make they ckick bell twice to get every notification
It seems nice lil unit , but I would love even better if u open it up to see what’s inside, it would b a great video , it’s either a super capacitors in there or unless only uses the 20 volt battery juice to transfer it to the car battery and the green light would stop flashing until it has the battery charge , in other words the same concept of those videos where ppl uses a 20 volt lithium battery any brand the longest it’s 20 v lithium to jump start a car , if that’s the case then I’ll b laughing bout it ,and it would b way to expensive to do that , but we’ll see time will tell , either way nice video man
That music sent me back to the 80's
💯💯💯💯🙏👏👏🤙🤙

I'M HERE, WHAT DID I MISS?!

Looks like a great idea but traditional lead acid jump starters still appear to have more power.
🎶nice 🎶
Wish this unit had a voltage display though @Tool Boss
If you’re bored one day in the cold give it a try with a load tester and see how much it puts out in freezing temps.
Would be amazing if this unit was made in a flexvolt model @Tool Boss

Want one already
If they had a small inverter on for 120 volts or a bigger one about 1000 watts would be great
I wonder why u don’t see more of these u think it’s a good idea 👍🏻
I have to check to see if this will jump start my 3.0 liter V6 EcoDiesel engine . . . if so, I'm on board!
I was curious about this too. Did you ever find out?
Well?
I picked one up on Amazon about 6 months ago.
@Renato Selvaggi. Is it any good? Ive seen mixed reviews on its performance.
@@duncdunc76 this is one of them tools you don’t use it till you need it. So I haven’t used it yet.
What's the 3 on one? Usb, jump start and flashlight?
Boosss mmaannn!!!!

Thst makita for $100 perfect 👌
Dcf899m1 i just got it and was able to shear a 5/8 bolt no prob. It’s the high torque so u won’t have to bother buying another later. Love it

Milwaukee please make one.

Got one, couldn't start a 1/2 dead v6 engine used a 6.0ah flexvolt
Really??? How bad was it?
Been looking for one of these. Can't find them anywhere.
Amazon just sold out
Hey boss, I’d like to ask if it’s OK with you if I post a link to my FB DeWalt tools owners group on your Dewalt videos?👍🏼
Vvrrrroooomm ! 😁😀😃😂👍👍👍👍👍✌🏻🇺🇸
Interesting that’s something I would actually buy if Milwaukee made it. Most of these things that use tool batteries i would never touch
China milwaukee ?? Lolol
@@toolboss8410 LOL I didn’t mean “make” it I meant It would be cool to have one I could throw a 12ah m18 in it. Idc who makes it 😂
Unavailable on Amazon what was the price?
When the hell did they come out with this?? I’ve been blabbing for years about needing/wanting this exact thing!!!!
Bout a year ago or so
@@toolboss8410 how come nobody’s talking about it? It’s not like I’ve been living under a rock!
They are gone!!!! As of 9 am EST
I don't see this starting a cold 6.0 liter engine with a dead battery in the winter.....hope I'm wrong
Somebody pass me the glowsticks

Come on MAKITA where is it???
Okay to charge with 220v or just 110v?
Where do you apply the 120 volts or the 12 volts to recharge? Seriously?
It uses the 20V DeWalt batteries, you don’t recharge the jump pack.
😟😟😟
no 120 power source? booooo
1st
Supposed to watch video first!
Need to test it but my feelings are no way this charges a car battery and never will it jump start a car.
