What type of situation would you use the DeWalt maintainer for?
Emergency road boosts, helping other people. I run agm batteries for their superior charge rate. Also carry double 0 gage cables with copper ends. U make some excellent videos mark! Cheers 👍🏼🇨🇦

I have the larger unit! Just took it out of the trunk to check it and its at 28%. Charging now!! 😊
The 1600 version is actually cheaper and comes with a USB-C. Glad you discovered it in time for winter jump starting.

For the alternator . Do you plug in the red and black cable first before starting the car

Once you get one of these, I find that you wonder how you ever got along without it.
DeWalt DXAEOBDK 1 Amp Battery Maintainer is there an adapter for use with other equipment like lawnmower atv ... with alligator clips?
Not that I know of. That sounds like a good idea to have it available for a mower.
This is the old one if you tested the new 1600 one I believe it does have a usb c or I thought it did
I don't recall seeing the 1600 one when I got this 1400. I'm glad to see the USB C. Thanks for sharing.
The memory saver of this is the best. Especially if you have a mobile battery change business. Otherwise leaving a vehicle for 3-4 weeks should not be a problem. If it is you should change the battery and/or check the vehicle for consumers (IR camera works best).
I'm curious it the maintainer works in the winter. If so, 3 weeks may be enough to cause a starting issue with a car in storage.

I recall seeing that. I think he disconnected something on the vehicle so it wouldn't start, but tested how long it turned over.
I love being able to set the air compressor on the desired psi and just walk away.
Yeah, that's a great feature!
Seems more like and advertisement than a review. Should have demonstrated the charge in the battery by attempting to start it before using the jump starter. The maintainer looks like a solution in search of a problem.
