Those massaging seats sound sweet. Must be nice to relax and chill and snooze while driving........
If you want a car with good massaging seats, the Acura MDX isn’t it, most in-car massaging seat systems are not good, if you want a proper massage while driving, look at the BMW 7-series (even cars like the X5/X7 don’t have good seat massaging)

People here worry about everything except the powertrain of a car. A potato could power the car but as long as it has a touch screen and massaging seats people will buy it. Ridiculous.
@@MrSupernova111 agreed but if you want proper massaging seats, get a BMW 7-series, most in-car massaging seat systems are garbage
I own a 2019 RDX w/tech. I have enjoyed it for 6 years and it still looks almost the same as the current one. I paid $39,800 at that time. The longer they don't bring a new design to it, the longer I enjoy it like a new one. 🙂
How’s the gas ⛽️ on it cause I’m considering getting one but I also my want a hybrid to save more money on gas
@@joelewis8992 . Gas is horrible on the RDX. Probably the same on the MDX. I own a '23 RDX but I don't drive much so its a non issue for me.
@@MrSupernova111 I appreciate the feedback. It just sucks man because they are such good SUVs, but everybody wanna jump into this electric stuff not everybody has the means to plug a car in the government wants to control people so bad it’s sickening
Ditch the turbos....no one wants a long term turbo rebuild bill...

@@1Madbuyer . If you're willing to ditch the turbos last I checked Mazda was making NA engines for their vehicles. I think some Hondas are also NA. But its true that its difficult to find good NA vehicles these days with the government push to EVs and hybrids.
Go A-Spec or GO HOME. Tech is for people who want a basic car, lowest payment & don’t want the pleasure an A-Spec offers. 2024 will be the year of the DEAL & last year of the excellent ELS sound system. Plus, how much more will the 2025 really cost with the increased price & financing?
A friend just leased this end of April, a 2024 MDX A Spec Red Pearl in Orange County, SoCal. Money factor is 2.8%. He pays $651 a month for 10,000 miles a year over 36 months, and that monthly payment includes a 9.5% tax with no initial payment, 0 drive off. The dealer wanted to clear out their inventory because the 2025 model will be arriving in the next few months. I don't think you can find a deal this good around the mid $600s including tax in this segment.

RDX, needs a total revamp. New engine specs with more power, less noise and for sure a usable interior.

The touch pad is what kept me from purchasing the 2024 MDX
Touchpad is a joy to use while driving. It is ergonomically perfect and from a safety perspective it is functionally superior to use while in motion. Leaning back and working that touchpad beats leaning forward and leaving fingerprints all over the screen. I have two vehicles....one with touchscreen and the other is the MDX. I keep my eyes more on the road when using the touchpad over the touchscreen.
@@s.patterson5698 . Agreed. The only people complaining are people who don't own an Acura. I love my '23 RDX. But then, I don't fidget with the car's electronics while I drive.
Only issue is that a lot of people use CarPlay and the trackpad is horrible with it
@@JohnSmith9382 . Incorrect. I have zero issues with the track pad. You can also change songs directly from the steering wheel. I set my gps BEFORE I depart. I don't know what you people are doing with your infotainment while you drive but again, I have zero issues and the vast majority of Acura owners feel the same way.
touchpad is super easy to use. problem is no one knows how to actually use it! I hate fingerprints, the screen will be too close and I can go on and on....go try one with a sales person who can explain it properly...and remember...it's not a mouse pad. Just FYI. ;)
Current Gen RDX is a 2019 model that got a facelift for 2022......
Why bother on the ZDX, electric cars are cheap now, you can get a brand new tesla for $30k and if you want an electric ar , buy it used. Why would i pay for an electric car $80k, this car its not even a original design, but rather a copy of a cadillac lyric with Acura badge. We all seen it before, Acura using Isuzu trooper to manufacture a truck know as the Acura SLX, worst thing ever!

I was hoping they'd introduce a new generation for 2025 since the current one doesn't have manually reclining second row seats, rear manual window sunshades, a third climate zone for the second row, a digital gauge cluster, the bigger 12.3" touchscreen display, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, & full LED taillights. A lot of its competitors have these features for similar prices as the closest equivalent RDX. The MDX second row seats only have 1 recline angle (my guess is bc of the third row), but they could add more recline angles or positions for them RDX since there's no third row to think about. The GV70, NX, & current X3 have a lot of these features available so the RDX not having that while competing with the GV70 & NX on price is disappointing
The only people complaining about Acura are the people who don't own one.

Acura are great cars but missing hybrid systems. I wish they put in RDx soon with the new design. I have 2021 RDX that average city and some hi way drive about 20 to 19mpg.
Acura needs mild hybrids. Gas mileage is sub par
Awful/lackluster Acura (& Honda) styling is enough to keep me away from the brands at this point. Same with Toyota/Lexus. Plus, all of them are coasting along these day on outdated reputations for quality/reliability due to all the tech-bloat & cost-cutting measures now being embraced.

Waiting til 2025 model...why? MDX MMR, TLX MMR, travesty of a ZDX...and at the upcoming ADX. Too many things coming out and the RDX is still one of the best sellers around!
MDX was long overdue for a much refined interior, we sre going on 6+ yrs of the same ridiculous poor design that does nothing for a family of 4.
I've been trying to negotiate lease return RDXs in TX. Dealerships are NOT negotiating price at all. Should I wait a few months? 2021/2022 $30k-38k depending on mileage and pkg. Just found a beautiful A-Spec FWD 2021 w/12,500 miles for $34,800 and they will not budge.
I am being offered a good lease deal for A spec advance; Honestly, I don’t care about the touch pad, what I don’t like is the smaller screen, and lack of features compared to others. The tech seems older compared to competitors.

Hi, I just got the RDX A-Spec 2024 in Canada and traded my 2020 TLX and I had good equity on my past 13 Acura's. I have never had an issue with residual, never had to put negative money towards a new car. Much better resale value than most brands in my opinion. Thank Camco Acura Ottawa.
I leased a 2019 for $401 with taxes and just inceptions. Once the lease was up in 22, I bought it out ($23K) and filpped it for $34K. The car is looking a little aged rigth now. New one now? Try to get a great deal on a pre owned with low mileage

I hate the taillights of the RDX so much that I spent an extra $20,000 to get the MDX for the mrs, even though she had no problem with the RDX. I just didn't want her backside looking like that driving down the street.
The rdx absolutely needs a redesign. No need for the oversized mode knob switch. Probably go touch screen. And hybridize; it doesn't get very good gas mileage.
